La casa está completamente equipada y llena de pequeños detalles. Los atardeceres en la terraza son de lo mejor. Estás muy cerca del Puerto del Carmen y con un supermercado a cinco minutos en coche. Paco, el anfitrión está pendiente de que la estancia sea inmejorable. Sin duda será nuestra opción en Lanzarote.

Being married for 12.5 years and together for 25 years, we booked a week’s holiday in Lanzarote with our whole family. We booked a week in Casa Rural Hero. When we arrived we were crushed by the beautiful house and were warmly welcomed by the host, Paco. Paco did everything he could to make us feel welcome and was there for us for any question. For Three Kings, which is celebrated extensively in Spain, Paco surprised us with a traditional cake: Roscón de Reyes. Incredibly attentive! Casa Rural Hero is a fantastic house in a lovely central location. We had a wonderful holiday. The house is highly recommended, partly thanks to the host!

Una casa de ensueño, estuvimos una semana mi familia y yo, en total 9 personas y lo pasamos estupendamente. Paco fue un muy buen anfitrión, nos atendió perfectamente desde el primer día e hizo que la estancia fuera maravillosa. En la terraza tomando el sol en un mes de diciembre es perfecta. Las habitaciones son muy cómodas y estábamos muy cerca de todos los lugares de interes de la isla. Paco nos gestionó el coche de alquiler y nos consiguió 2 buenos coches. ¡Volveremos a alojarnos en la casa!

Due to either poor administration of this host or either sheer greed cost a party of 7 their holiday 25 days before departure. The whole world has been effected by COVID as it still plays havoc in our lives. Back in 2019 myself and a group of 6 friends booked this villa for a week long stay in June 2020 via Booking.com before the pandemic. Naturally nobody could travel and the trip was cancelled and rescheduled for the following year. Unfortunately, come the following year (early 2021) travel was still very uncertain and us as a group decided it was not deemed safe or nessassary to travel at the time. We contacted the host via the Booking.com platform who agreed to reschedule our stay to 2022 then cancelled the booking on the platform to which he marked as a "No Show". We received several messages from Booking.com asking why we didn't stay and informed them the host rebooked us directly outside the platform. He also requested an additional €300 from us due to price adjustments which we agreed to pay. Several months past and we reached January 2022 and we still had not received any booking confirmation or receipt of our booking from the host. Communication was very few and far between but after weeks of chasing we recieved a receipt and proof of our booking. Fast forward to Sunday 8th May, we received a WhatsApp message from the host to say he double booked the dates we were due to stay in the villa and it was no longer available for us. See attached screenshot of message but he mentioned that a "Production Company" had booked the villa instead and they were unable to change the dates. We absolutely panicked as finding accommodation for 7 people for June in Lanzarote for our requirements would not be easy. The host said he had another property for us to use but it was not to the standard of our original booking. He then continued to say it was the terms and conditions of this booking that we must accept this counter offer or loose the booking all together. This was untrue as the bookkng was made outside of Booking.com (our mistake) and the host tried to piggy back off their terms to relatin our money. After many message exchanges and persistence we managed to recieve a full refund but at our expense due to the change of exchange rates. The host was also very sarcastic when chasing for the refund saying he didn't own his own bank and could not force them to male the transfer which we found rather rude and unnecessary as we could potentially loose a large amount of money through no fault of our own. After reading historic reviews it appears this host has done this before and cancelled a party so close to their travel dates so BE AWARE! To us we believe the host claimed we "no showed" to Booking.com to claim some sort of compensation then accepted a higher booking offer from the "Production Company". In our opinion our booking as originally made in 2019 should have been warranted and not pushed aside because of the hosts administrational error. We have received no form of formal apology and quite frankly I'm disgusting and disappointed by the way this has been handled by this host. 7 people are now without a holiday this June and I hope my review can help anyone else to avoid total disappointment and unnecessary stress in the future! Unfortunately Casa Rural Hero greed will get you nowhere in this industry.

I lived in Casa Rural Hero for 2 months, and was able to experience Lanzarote at its best for several reasons: - the house is centrally located with a small town nearby and the beach at a 10-minute car ride. - the host is always willing to give advice and even provide support to ensure that you make the most out of your stay - the house is astoundingly beautiful. You will find all the amenities you need for your vacation while always feeling “at home”. I’m grateful to the host for taking part in an unforgettable experience for me and my friends. Without Casa Rural Hero, our time in Lanzarote would not have been as great as it was.

Paco's place is the ideal for a Lanzarote vacation. Located in the cute and very local town of Tias, everything on the island is at your fingertips. The house is a stone's throw from the tourist locations in Arrecife and Puerto del Carmen, but equally close to the hidden gems on the other parts of the island. The house itself is stunning - with the original structure dating back over 100 years, everything inside is modern and beautifully decorated for comfort and style. I especially loved the heavy shuttered windows that open up to views of the sea. Despite all this, the best part of staying at Casa Rural Hero is the host, Paco. Paco and his family are extremely warm, generous, and thoughtful. Anything you may need is taken care of right away, and if you're lucky, you might even get an opportunity to learn some Spanish cooking from the man himself! After our incredible stay here, I would not stay anywhere else in Lanzarote.

Tonight should of been the first night of our holiday, we should be sat around a pool, listening to our children laughing and getting ready to relax got the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately, due to the uncertain times the world is facing this us not the case. When I messaged Francisco to explain we were not able to come I recieved a message back which put my mind at ease, hoping to honour the holiday that we have worked so hard for next year. I even recieved a message from Paco a few days later to simply check on our health. In times when things feel so desperate, how nice to be able to feel confident in a stranger. Sometimes you just need to have optimism and trust and I most definitely do in Villa Rural Hero. We cannot wait to come and stay in this beautiful villa next year, it will most definitely be the holiday we have been waiting for. Stay safe.

Very nice place location could have been better as you always need a car which was annoying but other than that was a great 5 days also property could do with some tlc . Host was fantastic helped alot

We had a good stay. Paco was very kind and helpful. The location of the vila was perfect. A little tip is to do something about the WiFi and bathroom locks.

Fueron 4 días espectaculares, la casa y el lugar tienen mucho encanto. Las piscina se disfrutó al 100%. Celebramos nuestra unión e invitamos solo a los familiares más cercanos, como unas 17 personas y se podía estar perfectamente. Los niños disfrutaron de la piscina, del billar, de los pasillos se la casa. 100% recomendado
