Bathroom
The bathroom has a white suite, with shower over the bath, fully tiled. Bath towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towel.
Outside
There is a lovely clean communal pool, with shower, communal toilets, and changing areas. There are a number of rings, beds etc for use in the pool.
Car parking area is under the apartment block. with a lift up to the apartment.
Amenities
Just walk around the corner to the bakery (don't go if you are on a diet) croissants for breakfast? several supermarkets, chemist, and banks.
A great choice of six/seven good tavernas. You can walk to all of them. Peyia Taverna for your meat meze?. Cousins for sea bream?. Meditteranean for a great fish choice. The Grande, great atmosphere, and Savaas Greek music evening.Great fun.
Beaches
5 mins drive to the blue flag beach of Coral Bay, or continue north to the small harbour of Agious Georgious . Still further up the road to Polis or Latchi harbour or one of the coves on the Akamas peninsular, Lara Bay where the turtles lay their eggs during August.
Surrounding areas
Paphos with its lovely harbour, and into Kato Paphos with it's interesting market is 20mins drive,
Excellent centre for investigating the world heritage site in Paphos,with its mosaics, or the Tomb of the Kings.
Many other archaeological sites in the area.
Nearby is The National Trust type area of Akamas Peninsular, great for walking or cycling with a fantastic coast line and turtle bay. Enjoy a jeep safari. Or hire a quad bike to explore.
A trip into the mountains to see the real Cypriot villages, with their traditional crafts is a must.
Take a drive through Cedar Valley, and visit some of the monasteries
Activities
Within 40 mins of 4 championship golf courses, Minthis hills at Tsada, Elena a new course in Paphos, Secret Valley and Aphrodite Hills
Paphos water park is close.
Horse riding, watersports, several diving schools. go karting and quad biking are also local. Tennis, ten pin bowling in Paphos
You could go skiing on Mt Olympus in Jan/Feb and then come down and sit on the beach in the afternoon.
Night life
Can be found in Coral Bay, the Tomb of the Kings Road & Paphos
More relaxing passtimes
Take a glass bottomed boat trip, from Paphos harbour, and while in Paphos you must go to the market, and lose yourselves around the many stalls and shops. Something for everyone.
Or just sit by the pool, or on the patio and relax and read from our library of books, and some games.

Me and my partner stayed here in Sept 2018 and I'm so glad we did!
The apartment is lovely, very clean, it has everything you need and in a quiet and peaceful location.
We was the only ones in the block other than a local at the time so we had the pool to ourselves which was nice.
It was a pleasure to stay here and I can't wait to book it again

A quiet, relaxing getaway.
We spent 2 weeks here with our 8 year old daughter in August. It was very hot so the air conditioning & pool were most welcome! There was one other family there with children which made it more fun for our daughter. There were shops & restaurants within walking distance. We didn't hire a car so stayed very local, however, if you don't want to do that, you do need transport. Our intention was to just have 2 stress free weeks in the sun, so this was perfect but if you want more activities or are looking for a busy night life you need to stay in Paphos! The apartment met our needs & we could enjoy sitting out on the balcony as well. Most of the other apartments are unoccupied which was quite nice as the pool is quite small but very adequate & at certain times of the day is in partial shade. All in all, a nice place to have a quiet break.

thank you for taking the time after your holiday to write a review.
I am pleased you were able to have a much needed relaxing holiday. Also that your daughter enjoyed the company of another family staying in another apartment at same time. Myhideaway is usually quiet, but this is enjoyed by many, and as you say there are plenty of tavernas to visit in the evenings for good meal out or the BBQ on the patio.

Excellent base for a holiday on the western side of Cypurs
Fantastic apartment. Well appointed with nice balcony for cooking bbqs. Apartment is exactly as on the website, no nasty surprises! Clean and freshly decorated (or looked to be). The pool is great, not huge, but perfect for cooling off. I cannot recommend this highly enough! (It was our 3rd visit - does that speak for itself?)

There was plenty of places to eat in walking distance,very friendly people,lots of places to see,nice swimming pool,all in all a very nice holiday.It would better to have a car but there are buses and the drivers are very helpful.

Relaxing getaway.
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely week early October. Temperatures were 30 degrees centigrade during the day so if you like it hot this is still a good time to visit. The apartment is clean and spacious (ideal for 4) so we just spread ourselves about. It is situated in a quieter area of Peyia although there are neighbouring apartments these were not occupied during our stay. Ruth was really helpful with the booking and was keen that everything was in place for an enjoyable stay. Peyia, the village has good food shops and an abundance of competitive tavernas - we had good meals at all we dined at. Further afield try Oniro's by the sea caves up the coast from Corallia. The location is great for touring around the west side of the island. If you don't mind not escaping from your fellow countryman this is a great place for a stay in Cyprus.

Thank you for your kind words, I am delighted you enjoyed your holiday and that you found the apartment comfortable. Peyia is a great spot both for tavernas and for travelling around the west of Cyprus. The area around the apartment is usually quiet and peaceful, many of the apartments are not used regularly and most of my guests have found it was like having a villa, with the pool to themselves.

Lovely place
Very comfy, easy to find, easy to get to and from spot, with full kitchen amenities and effective air conditioning - a must during July and august.
Near everything on the west coast if you have a car - a must have on Cyprus unless you are happy to stay at Coral Bay - personally not to my liking. However, a short drive east to towards Limassol are some of the most beautiful beaches and water in the world, if you're okay with pebbles and stones, which I am. Such clear water!
And my favorite place on the island, west of Polis, the Baths of aphrodite and Lashki Beach - 30 minute drive from Ruth's place.
Then there's Trodos Mountains and the Cedar Forest - I only spent one night away from Ruth's - I'd intended to use it as a base only and range far and wide - but I was so at home there I only spent one night in Trodos - well worth several days for hiking and just being, especially since it was delightfully cool.
Pegeia is a cute little town, with a lot of Brits, and with the exception of the massive construction boom that seems to be taking place around the island without regard to architectural beauty or homogenous symetry, I found it quite lovely. I often walked the 10 km to and from there to local spots of interest.
Great place for a family of four and very economical.
And Ruth's a great lady.

I am pleased to see you felt very at home at myhideaway, it is such a relaxing spot and area isn't it.
I don't know how you did so much walking in the heat of August.
There is so much to see and do in the area it sounds as though you packed in a fair amount.
I do agree with you about the beaches,
fortunately the building boom has come to an end with the economic situation in the world, no bad thing.

Lovely apartment, great holiday
Apartment is based in a block almost in the middle of Peyia, a village just north west of Paphos.
Supermakets, restaurants, tavernas all within walking distance of the apartment.
If you have a car the rest of Cyprus is within easy driving distance and you can explore the country.

Great vacation place!
If you like to explore Cyprus this is the best location for you. Beautiful Peyia located in the middle of many interested places. We rented a car in airport. Driving on the left side of the road is not very hard.
Apartment is very nice and clean, big bedrooms with comfortable beds. Wi-Fi internet works well. We make barbeque several times on the patio.
We drove a lot around the Island and in my opinion Peyia is one of the best places around. Taverns are great. We like the Cousins tavern a lot. Best fish restaurant in this area is Port of Lache. We use Coral Beach very often, but found best beach is wild beach one mile before main Lara beach. Last week we spend every day there.
I think we make right decision - renting this place. I wish I can spend couple more months in Peyia. So many places we didn't visit because not enough time.

Hi Delighted you enjoyed your stay, and that everything was comfortable at the apartment. There are so many things to see in Cyprus, historical, natural, and plenty of relaxing beaches especially as you say on the akamas peninsular. Peyia is a great base and lots of choices for tavernas. The Pool & Air Con were very necessary on a very relaxing holiday in very pleasant surroundings. The apartment was a great base for our daily treks around Cyprus and a lovely place to return to each evening. The local area was great for food and the locals very friendly, if not a few too many English accents. Overall a great holiday for all the family at a great price.

The best family holiday
We found Ruth very helpful and the booking process was very easy. Upon arrival, the accommodation was very clean and well equipped, and the large outside space was private and well shaded. The pool was well maintained and we enjoyed using it alot. Numerous local shops and restaurants. Overall, a great place to spend your holiday. 4x4 hire car recommended for exploring the amazing akamas Peninsula.
