The best self-catering accomm. we've used in Greece. And we're frequent visitors, over the years. Great value, too.
A hidden gem, but a 10-minute walk from the main street in Skiathos Town, and 4 minutes from La Piscine Hotel, which serves up great meals, cheap daytime snacks, and lets you use their pool if you buy a couple (or more) of drinks.
(The hotel has music 2 nights a week, which you may not like if you hear it across the fields separating Vanessa 2 from the hotel. We liked it, as we sat on our huge, glass-fronted balcony, sipping our drinks. Which weren't bedtime cocoa.)
A decent sized room, modern, in 40 shades of taupe / greige, with all you'll need to self-cater, if you really want to. I can't remember if there is a bed sette for a child. Big fridge to chill your drinks.
Smallish but perfectly acceptable shower room / WC.
Nearby mini-market or two, and access to the ring road if you take a car with you.
We were offered lifts from and to the airport (about just a mile away = easy transfers by Dritan and Linda) - saving lots of stress about taxis ariving on time, etc. Thanks!
Highly, highly recommended - and I never usually recommend anything!
FYI - Vanessa 1 (not 2) is slightly bigger and similar, but with a front-facing balcony, so the balcony view's not as good, but it's a close secons and we'd be very happy to go back to either. There is also a full floor - more like a full-size flat - up for rental, for families, rather than couples.
Lower ground level = the family/owners
Upper ground level = Vanessa 1 and 2 rentals, both self-contained with separate entrances and separate balconies.
Top floor = full floor large family flat rental

Dritan and Linda - if you see this, we were the couple with the battery 'Christmas fairy lights' out on the balcony in August, a couple of years ago. ; - )
