l'apparenza inganna, tante parole e nulla di fatto , camere sporche , cuna sporca e conto salato , forse credono che siamo tutti stupidi noi stranieri ma questa sig.ra dopo un'accoglienza che sembrava bella , ci siamo ritrovati a lottare per avere il minimo indispensabile cioè la casa pulita .

Big birthday celebration
The booking process was straightforward. I spent a week with my husband, our children and grandchildren. Betty our host was charming and helpful when we arrived later than expected. The house was ready for the family with toys and activities for the children. Betty gave us lots of information about the best places to go. I would definitely recommend the gelato place and Guido who delivers food is punctual and very reasonably priced and the food is delicious. The second week was with friends so quite a different sort of holiday. We enjoyed trips out to Varenna, Bellaggio and even went to Lugano in Switzerland on a day trip. The village has a lovely bakery and grocery shop where you can get everything you need. The family run bar was also frequented by my sons who loved it. I loved the villa and will definitely return I can’t fault Betty and Roberto who were both charming helpful and kind.

Amazing Experience in Barni!
Betty was an incredible host, and made us feel welcomed and taken care of even WEEKS before our departure date! This was the first time our group of 8 visited Italy, and we truly would have been lost without Betty. This Airbnb has so much space for large groups, plenty of amenities for comfort, and the location truly cannot be beat. What a beautiful place in a beautiful village!

Mjög notaleg dvöl nærri Como vatninu
Þegar við ákváðum að bjóða allri fjölskyldunni, alls 16 manns, í vikuferð til Norður-Ítalíu var stærsta verkefnið að finna húsnæði við hæfi. Við vorum svo heppin að rekast fljótlega á húsið sem Elisabetta er með á Airbnb. Við dvöldum svo í húsinu hennar í viku í júlí 2022, og urðum svo sannarlega ekki fyrir vonbrigðum! Húsið var mjög hreint og fínt, mjög stórt og meira en nóg pláss fyrir alla. Mörg og stór herbergi, fjögur baðherbergi, góð þvottavél og allt til alls. Eldhúsið er að vísu ekki stórt, og hentar kannski ekki til að elda stórar máltíðir fyrir fjölda manns, en ekkert mál að útbúa morgunverði og léttar máltíðir. Ekki er loftkæling í húsinu, enda á þess ekki að vera þörf þarna hátt uppi í fjöllum. Við vorum raunar svo óheppin að lenda í mestu hitabylgju sem komið hefur á þessum slóðum, og auðvitað var stundum óþægilega heitt í húsinu - en það var bara okkar eigin óheppni!
Út var garðurinn var fullur af leikföngum fyrir börnin, og sundlaugin frábær fyrir börn og fullorðna til að sulla og kæla sig í sumarhitanum.
Húsið er í Barni, litlu þorpi þar sem ekki er mikla þjónustu að finna fyrir utan þorps krána og lítið bakarí. Það er því algjörlega nauðsynlegt að vera á bílaleigubílum, en þá er stutt að keyra í góðar kjörbúðir og veitingastaði. Einnig er nauðsynlegt að hafa í huga að húsið er uppi í fjöllum, og það er um 20 mínútna akstur niður að Como vatni, en þar má auðvitað finna fallega bæi og baðstrendur.
Þegar við komum á staðinn tók Elisabetta brosandi á móti okkur, sýndi okkur húsið og útskýrði allt í smáatriðum. Það besta var kannski að hún gaf okkur fullt af góðum leiðbeiningum, benti á bestu veitingastaðina og ráðlagði okkur varðandi dagsferðir út frá Barni.
Við getum svo sannarlega mælt með þessu húsi fyrir stórar fjölskyldur í svo sem vikuferð - bara vera á góðum bílum!

Geweldig.
Het huis is precies hetzelfde zoals het weergegeven wordt op Trip Advisor. Het is een mooie grote schone gezellige villa. De eigenaars zijn erg attent en super aardig. In het huis ligt een klapper met uitgebreide info over alles wat je kunt ondernemen. Het huis ligt in een klein authentiek bergdorpje. Met de auto kun je het meer en de plaatsen in de omgeving opzoeken. Wij hebben ervan genoten en een geweldige vakantie gehad met ons gezin.

Family Holiday
Great place, safe for families, Knowledgeable host with great ideas and plans. Just follow what Elisabetta (host) say and you will have a wonderful experience. We were 12 in the group and all of us were very happy. Please make sure you have a car which was recommended by the host and well worth it.
we planned for a weekend which was okay however, if you plan for a little longer it would be much better.
As much as there is a lot to say about the great experience and the kindness of the host and about Lake Como there are two things that concerned me.
1- not enough plugs to charge the phones or electric items. Elizabetta made a note and promised that this will be resolve it before my next trip (yes, I am planning to go back again)
2- As we went during the peak hot weather we had flies. I raised the issue and Elisabetta provided us with couple of electric fly killer which we hanged around that helped however, it is something that they should look into it and find a permanent solution.
Other than that two issue overall I would rate a 5 star rating and strongly recommend Lake Como and Elisabetta's Easy Chic Villa.
While you are there make sure you visit the mountain close to the villa and the name is 'Rifugio Martina' an awesome experience and the best polenta meal from the couple who run that as a family business.

Li ospitanti Elisabetta e Roberto sono gentilissimi e molto disponibili a dare la migliore assistenza possibile. La casa l'abbiamo trovato in ottime condizioni.
Ristrutturata con accuratezza e passione e tenuta bene e pulitissima.
Abbiamo fatto l'agnello di Pasqua nel caminetto fuori e i bambini si sono divertiti e sfogati sul trampolino, a giocare Pingpong e calcetto.
Ci sono infinite possibilità di fare delle gite a piedi e a farsi fare da mangiare da locali nelle vicinanze.
Il paese Barni e tranquillissimo e ha una fonte con un acqua buonissima.

Beautiful house!
Beautiful house in the small village of Barni, near Lake Como. Perfect for our group of 22 persons. Clean, nice furniture and good service from the host Elisabetta. It’s a perfect area for cyclists. From Barni the Muro di Sormano, Madonna del Ghisallo and other Lombardian climbs are good reachable.

Charming host and lovely villa a short distance from Bellagio
We had a good time renting this villa with 10 people. It could definitely be used by double that number of people, including being family friendly. The host was very sweet and went out of her way to make us feel at home.

Un lieu idéal pour un week end entre amis
Un accueil chaleureux, une hôte de très bons conseils, une maison chaleureuse et adaptée pour un grand groupe d'amis, une situation géographique idéale pour visiter le lac de Côme, je recommande les yeux fermés
