I visited Kalami with friends but booked my accommodation separately. Very happy with my choice. Votsalo Apartments are well located with fantastic views across Kalami Bay. It was very clean with a very comfortable bed. There is a small cooker, which I used only for croissants for breakfast whilst sitting on the patio. Greeted by Gina who guided me to my apartment with great efficency A really good find. I will be returning without doubt.

This is my wife and I's 10th visit to the island and Gina's Votsalo is 'thee' place to stay in my humble opinion. The view across the bay is exquisite, The accommodation is wonderful, with all mod cons you need for self catering and the host is a sweetie! What more could you want? Well another holiday there of course! And that is exactly what we have booked for next year...Covid or no Covid! Life's to be lived! You are only a stone's throw from the village and the wonderful Sea Breeze bar/restaurant. There the staff are great too and the menu is lovely. So come and enjoy the delights of the Votsalo, you won't be disappointed!

Stayed here 2 weeks ago for the first time & have already booked to go back next year. We have been to Corfu 10 times but this is the best place so far! The apartments are situated perfectly with breathtaking views over Kali Bay, & they are fitted out perfectly with everything you need. It was quiet and relaxing in every way and Gina was the perfect host. I cannot recommend these apartments more and would advise anyone wishing to visit Cirgu to stay here.

We have just returned from a lovely week staying at Gina's Votsalo apartments in Kalami. The location is amazing, overlooking the bay at Kalami and being able to watch the liners and ferries passing by and the local boats gilling about. It was 'out of season' but we had a great time none the less. Gina's apartment is spacious and very clean with a comfortable bed, great shower with plenty of hot water and everything you could need for a great stay, including cooking facilities and crockery etc. Gina is a great host and would provide everything you need and more. Thank you Gina for a great stay.

Gina is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble for her. The apartments are what you might expect from a budget Greek apartment but they are clean and well equipped. The views from the first floor apartment are tremendous, You can see the whole of Kalami Bay and the narrow (2 miles) strip of the Ionian sea separating Albania from Corfu. Huge liners pass by every morning and night and seem to be incredibly close. The apartments are close to the beach and Mario's supermarket will deliver your grocery needs.

Gli appartamenti Votsalo sono essenziali e spartani. Hanno una vista eccezionale sulla spiaggia di Kalami e si trovano a 100 metri dalla spiaggia. Sarebbe tutto perfetto se la pulizia e la manutenzione fossero all'altezza della posizione: purtroppo non è così. La proprietaria Gina è molto gentile e disponibile, sempre pronta ad accontentare gli ospiti, ma la sua cortesia non basta a fare dimenticare che la struttura necessiterebbe di una manutenzione adeguata (soprattutto per quanto riguarda il bagno) e di una pulizia più profonda e accurata. I condizionatori sono vecchi e rumorosi e questo può creare disagio: soprattutto di notte. Davvero un peccato perché la posizione e la vista potrebbero dare a questo piccolo residence una marcia in più!

Le stanza discreta (insomma senza infamia e senza lode) e la posizione della struttura ottima. Quello di cui ci sarebbe seriamente bisogno è di una ristrutturazione e di una buona manutenzione continua che negli anni evidentemente è mancata. Gli effetti si vedono nel bagno ma, soprattutto, nel terribile impianto di aria condizionata talmente vecchio e malandato da risultare inusabile per il forte rumore generato dal motore. E purtroppo il problema non era limitato al condizionatore della nostra stanza ma anche a quello dei vicini per cui pur tenendo spento il proprio climatizzatore, ci si trovava a subire quello degli altri anche se, per fortuna, per un breve periodo visto che il rumore risultava talmente molesto da far desistere anche gli altri ospiti dal tenerlo acceso. Ma il rumore non è l'unico problema: lo splitter posizionato sopra la porta "spara" l'aria fredda direttamente sul letto.

We would like to thank Gina for her hospitality and care, right from booking our taxi to our late departure which was not charged for! This was a holiday experience for us and we both needed the break. A lovely basic apartment with most mod cons. A wonderful view each morning and so close to the sea and all amenities. The accomodation is a basic 3 star UK standard but that is what we expected. Things getting 'tired' (loo seat, shower cubical, basic cooking) but they work ok. Please be careful as the bed is double only and quite basic/hard- no 'memory foam' so if you suffer with a bad back as I do be cautious! The bedroom is one step set in the floor and at night is not visible so be VERY careful! The air-con is most helpful. The resort is amazing, restaurants fab and Nicholas restaurant the best in the next bay Agni by taxi boat. Try the bus to Corfu, its air-conditioned and cheap but go early as it gets hot and busy. This was quite a find especially as everyone was so friendly. Two or three tavernas, one supermarket, noisy crickets......perfect. Started to get busy as we left towards the end of 3rd week in July which spoilt it a little, so go late June early July as we did. Thank you again Gina well done.

We have stopped here a few times now and have since booked to return in June. Gina is so helpful and cannot do enough. These apartments offer the most amazing views and are perfectly located. Fantastic

Stunning view from our terrace, which was practically un-overlooked. Gina, our host, could not have been more friendly and welcoming, even stopping by a couple of times during our 7-day stay to make sure everything was alright. The apartment was clean and well appointed and was great value for money. Kalami and the surrounding area is beautiful; the sea clear and warm; and very friendly people. We're only hesitant to recommend Votsalo because we don't want too much competition when it comes to our re-booking. Heaven on earth!
