Located in the Nainital region just short of Bhowali, this vacation home rests on a stunning two-acre fruit orchard. The bungalow is furnished in a Kashmiri style. There is a flight of stairs to enter the orchard. Our in-house staff will provide you with all the food and drink (on actuals)while you lounge with the family on the spacious wide veranda. There is even a private badminton court ! This Villa is ideal for families. If you make a booking we assume House rules are accepted. The estate sits on the road from Bhowali to Bhimtal. You can park outside the villa in a safe open area, just off the main road. The estate entry is a walk up one flight of stairs opening into the fruit orchards. The home is tucked toward the back of the estate. The villa staff is there to assist you in any need and can cook up great meals on request The regional chief is available on call for any assistance. SUGGESTED EXPERIENCES AT YOUR HOME: A picnic (on request) within the estate, amidst the fruit trees and alongside the badminton courts An afternoon game of rummy or bridge on the dining table Enjoy the Bhowali city lights from the first floor balcony, over an evening drink Have a family badminton tournament, on your private court SUGGESTED EXPERIENCES IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD: Paragliding from Bhowali to Kutani, you land back right next to the Rainbow Cottage Early morning kayaking on Sattal lake, before the crowds get in. A trek upto Ghorakhal temple, Bhowali A day visit to Nainital for lunch on the mall road and sites of the lake A day visit to Mukteshwar Temple DISTANCES FROM SUGGESTED ATTRACTIONS: Machan Restaurant, 0.1 Km I herat café, 1.5 Km Bhowali, 3.0 Km Ghorakhal Temple, 4.5 Km Nanital, 17 Km A little further out, here are some fun places to explore Ramgarh, 30 Km Sitla, 40 Km Muktheshwar, 46 Km You will need a car to move around. Breathtakingly beautiful and serene natural surroundings

Rainbow Villa is Breathtakingly beautiful and serene natural surroundings and aesthetically done decor of the house make this place simply superb. Needless to mention that the highly courteous and extremely hospitable behaviour of the staff (Nisha, Anand and Rajdev) act like a feather to make the stay pleasurable and memorable. Highly recommended.

Best Vacation!

This is the 4th time I have stayed at a property by varefamily. Best people to stay with. Nainital property is well managed, clean and beautiful. I was travelling with elders and two 3 year old kids!! We were all so well looked after. Good location Feels like you are staying at home. Delicious food. Best service ever! Hugely recommended. Will keep coming back.

First experience but unforgettable

Family of 5+1 child visited Rainbow cottage Bhimtal , everything was perfect from several calls in advance till we reached helping to locate the place. Bungalow- very nicely located ,good open area with surrounding nature, lavishly furnished , very well maintained and each piece was master piece. Staff - all 3 added pleasure ,so caring ,proactive ,allowed time for family but always ready to go beyond their call of duty ,sincere thanks to them. Food - just let them know few hours before meal time and they will serve you more than what you would expect in terms.of quality. Others - nice collection of books, music system, TV , badminton court , live barbeque with personal touch was great experience. I think right way to have your own time and family holidays , it was first time we stayed this way but certainly will repeat ! Compliments again to the team , I am sure there are more people than whom we met must be working to give us such sweet memories !

Best place to stay in Bhimtal

"This place is an exemplary example of how any vacation should be. The cottage "Rainbow" infact had many colors and boasted a beautiful setting nestled in the greenery of Bhowali Range. We were so humbled by the overwhelming hospitality by the staff(Anand, Nishi ji , Jitender ji)and support offered by (Aparna and Joshi ji). They provided the best of accommodation,food ,privacy and comfort into their home. The place has everything from necessity to luxury and we could not have had a fuller experience of Himalayas anywhere else. The rooms are graceful and bigger than expected and the washrooms are laden with all first class facilities like space, toiletries, ventilation and shower area separate. We are hoping to stay here again Very soon . It is a MUST STAY PLACE IN BHIMTAL !!"

Great place extraordinary service

We were there from the 30th of Sept till the 2nd of Oct. Had a great time thanks to the staff members Ranjan Dev, Anand and Nisha. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It is more beautiful than the pics posted.

Perfect place for a cosy homely stay

Amazing hospitality & great service of all staff. Excellent service, had a wonderful time! Courteous nature of staff-Anand, Nisha & Rajdev has made our vacation smooth. They were all available before time and did their job to perfection. Neat & clean property, good maintenance as per expectation.Happy with the services provided!!"

Luxurious holiday

We 3 friends,6 golden oldies selected"Rainbow"for our holiday from 2/7-9/7 in Bhimtal.This magnificent property owned by a kashmmere philanthropist family ,managed by 'V' are family is 35-40 flights from main road.This beautiful villa is nestled in a fruit orchard and is exactly the same as shown in pictures.Little apprehensive initially,we were overawed by its sheer beauty and extremely well upkeep.It has all the necessaities including washing machine and dryer.The soul of this wonderful property however were Rajdev-the cook who dished indian veg. delicacies,cooked to perfection and Anand & Nisha serving same in the most appropriate manner with smile and humbleness.The Gardner too was found involved in maintaining lawns and plants.Senior members namely Aparna Ji,karuna Ji and Joshi Ji ensured our stay to be comfortable and memorable and which it was.Our kudos to'V'are Family for doing a wonderful job in the field of vacation rentals. We would love to enjoy this facility again and their other facilities if accommodated being senior citizens.

Amazing property, away from hustle-bustle Nainitals of the world.

Booked this property through Aparna (VARE FAMILY) and she was quick to respond and answered all queries. They have spocs for every important thing; like for food there is Mrs. Karuna who is the most humble lady (I have spoken to while booking any hotel/property). The caretaker there- Mr. Joshi is very nice and down to earth. About the property, I must admit that is very well maintained. The interiors/furniture is colonial yet very elegant. Bedding was very comfortable and absolutely neat & clean. Living area has all the important stuff like music system, Bar setup, wifi etc. One can enjoy lot of greenery around the villa along with barbecue/bonfire in night The best part about this place is the delicious food which is made by Rajdev & Anand & they have not learned to say NO to anything... Every small/big requirement was fulfilled by them with a smile. If one has to learn basic hospitality and how to treat guests, they should reach out to VareFamily Employees & owners. 5 star from our entire group
