Perfect!!!
Booked this apartment through Tripadvisor . I was a little wary as I have never used Tripadvisor for a booking before but it was very straight forward and Nikola (the owner of the apartment) messaged me very quickly.
The apartment was fabulous. The view over the sea was amazing and perfect to wake up to every morning. The main bedroom was large with a balcony and beautiful sea view. It had a large walk in wardrobe and a safe. The children's bedroom was good and the kitchen had everything we needed including a large fridge, freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine. They had left us a bottle of wine, full fruit bowl and large bowl of fresh strawberry's in the fridge. We had plenty of fresh towels. They even supplied washing tablets for the washing machine.
The first night we had a massive thunder storm and Jerry came up in the pouring rain with extra bedding in case the children were cold. If we went down to the beach, He would set sun beds and umbrellas up for us. He was fantastic and very friendly. He offered great advise on places to eat and where to park on days out etc. They were perfect and couldn't do more for us.
Podstrana is a fabulous place to stay as it is so peaceful and tranquil and a short walk to the supermarket and to the restaurants. It was a great base for days to Krka waterfalls, Split, Trogir etc but also perfect just to sunbathe and swim in warm clear sea.
I could not fault this apartment. the hosts or the holiday.

Perfect setting, great hospitality
This was a perfect base for our first visit to Croatia. We wanted a combination of activity and beach relaxation. The apartment was literally on the beach with fantastic views out over the sea and as the sun set over Split.
It was close enough (20 mins) from Split to make visiting local amenities and the old town easy.
We also did activities further down the coast on the river Cetina and it was a picturesque 50 min drive to get to them. The stunning mountain range around Makarska and the Krka national park are also only an hours drive away.
Jerry and Nada were the perfect hosts, always asking if we needed anything and sorting things out when we did. They were so welcoming and made our visit special.

Relaxed
Just spent 10 glorious, relaxing, days in this very spacious, very clean apartment with views to die for. You are literally one minute from the sea, and towels, beds and parasols are provided for you. During our stay the bed linen and towels were changed for clean ones, which is something of a rarity, and such a nice touch. All your needs are catered for, both inside and outside the apartment - plenty of places to eat, within walking distance and an adequate supermarket across the road. As Podstrana is central between Trogir and Omis, it is easy to travel around by car, and see different locations, and as for Nikola, the owner, and Neda and Jerry, our hosts, I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and kindness - nothing is too much trouble for them. Thanks/Hvala.

great place to stay
we spent a relaxing week here and the apartment was all we could wish for. It was easy to find - close to shops and restaurants and a trip into split to see the wonderful city was only 10 minutes away -so easy for a day trip or a night out. The owners were great and very welcoming. The apartment is clean and bright, well furnished with wonderful views over the sea. I would certainly recommend it and not hesitate to stay there again. one tip for visitors - leave plenty of time at Split airport our queue for security checks took over an hour.
