The location of the property is excellent the village as 3 restaurants and a deli plus a small shop,what you see on the photos is what you get the views from the garden and pool are excellent you may also catch a glimpse of the Deer running through the olive groves just below,
The facilities are very good one bathroom as a walk in wet room whilst the other as a jacuzzi style cabinet shower in this bathroom the washing machine is located,the lounge as a TV however we never switched it on as we had bbqs outside and all our meals out side as well,the night sky's are amazing,
We had our granddaughter with us the owner elise provided a cot and high chair which were good,
Please be aware that we were eaten alive by mosquitos we sprayed our self's and the bedrooms but still had bites, ensure you take electronic repellent or similar,
The village was very busy in the evenings as it seemed that alot of the locals came out and sat chatting plus the eateries were very busy too, they made such a fuss over our granddaughter,
The owner elisa and her mum were great they provided a welcome pack on our arrival and at the weekend brought us an amazing tuscan dish wild boar with olives this was fantastic a real treat,I would recommend this property it's just south of Sienna and only a hour to Florence and an hour and a half to the coast plus we had a trip down to Saturnia to the thermal spa wow what a place and for free!
There is so many places to visit give it a try.

Perfect Tuscan Paradise!!
We recently spent a week at this amazing property. The pictures don’t do it justice. The views are spectacular and the love & care that the owner puts in to the home & garden made our time here so special. There is plenty of space and our daughters (5&8yo) loved the pool and garden. The village has 2 small supermarkets and a news agency. There is a great pizzeria on the edge of town and 3 more lovely restaurants in the village. We really enjoyed every minute we spent here between exploring other Tuscan villages (Siena, Volterra & San Gimignano).
Highly recommend!

Amazing! Sad to leave!
We stayed at Il Torrione for a week and it was amazing! The owners are so friendly and made us feel so very welcome!
So many stunning views, a lovely private pool and a house with everything you might need. Our four boys ranging from 12 to 17 were so happy here and enjoyed every minute of it. We definitely will return here!
The little village of Radicondoli is very pretty and has a few shops and some good restaurants.
San Gimignano, Volterra, Siena and Firenze are all just an hour’s drive or less.
Definitely stay here!

Lovingly restored home with stunning views over the Tuscan countryside
Il Torrione is in a beautiful location, perched on the edge of the village of Radicondoli, which is a typical Tuscan hilltop village. There is an excellent bakery, a couple of small shops and we enjoyed meals at two of the three or four restaurants. The house itself is really old and full of character but has been well restored - rustic may convey the wrong impression - the plumbing works well and the kitchen is of a good standard. There are three bedrooms, although one leads off the sitting room area and doesn't have a door. The two bathrooms have showers that work well and one is quite spacious; the other slightly smaller. Everything was beautifully clean and linen of good quality.
The garden, terrace and pool area are fabulous. We ate all our meals at the large table, soaking up the views and the sunshine - there is shade when you need it - and there are plenty of well tended plants and flowers. It felt like I could spend all day and every day there, although there is plenty to tempt you out in the surrounding area.
Elisa is really helpful - she was on hand for us when a thunderstorm tripped the electricity (and none of our three men could sort it!!). We also enjoyed home made biscotti and boar stew from Elisa's mother.
It takes a little while to get to Radicondoli and the roads are really twisty, but Siena and San Gimignano are only an hour's drive away. Anyway if you never stirred out of Il Torione and Radicondoli you'd have a lovely time! (When you get to Radicondoli, stop in the square just after the school - limited time parking and the house is just behind the church, through an archway. It's not all that easy to find but Elsa found us. You need to unload the car and then park it a little further away)

Hidden gem
This place is amazing ! Cosy , homely . The pool and views are great and we really enjoyed our week here ! The owners Elise and mama were great and a brought us a midweek treat if a home cooked Italian stew ! Thank you ❤️ the pool and amenities are of an amazingly high standard and you really feel like you just want to stay in all day to enjoy the views the pool and the feel of the place , so relaxing . We explored the Tuscany hills and country side and has some great days out Florence , Pisa, were great and our favourite aaa Volterra . Don't forget your mosquito spray and take some food for breakfast as shops are closed in radicondoli on a Sunday , we would def go back here it was a really good high quality home 🏡

Una fantastica base per vedere la Toscana
Siamo stati a Radicondoli a Luglio e che dire , la casa è bella , curata nei minimi dettagli , il giardino è bellissimo e dalla piscina ( privata ) si ha una vista mozzafiato delle colline senesi. Radicondoli è messo benissimo per vedere la Toscana ( ovviamente dovete disporre di una auto ) Siena , San Gimignano , Volterra sono a meno di un'ora di strada . Firenze , Pisa sono a poco più di un'ora di strada e il mare dista 59km. Le padrone di casa oltretutto a metà vacanza ci hanno offerto un piatto tipico toscano . Da rifare sicuramente !!!!!!

Tolles Ferienhaus in guter Lage
Il Torrione war für uns das perfekte Ferienhaus. Die Ausstattung entsprach genau der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Es war alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt und auch in gutem Zustand. Vor allem der Pool wurde von uns sehr geschätzt, allerdings auch die sehr zentrale Lage in Radicondoli. So sind ein Bäcker, zwei kleine Lebensmittelhändler, ein Bankautomat sowie Restaurants in direkter Nähe. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt uns können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an Elisa und ihre Mama, die mit ihrer liebenswerten Art und einem für uns gekochten Essen den Aufenthalt bereichert haben.

Best holiday house ever!
Great self catering property in lovely quiet Tuscan village. Plenty of excellent restaurants. Beautiful surrounding countryside and views. We arrived to a lovely warm welcome from the property owners. The house and garden is beautiful and our children were very excited by the swimming pool! The rooms were really well made up to a very high standard and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed swimming and eating outside everyday, while enjoying a spectacular view. The owners were available for any help and questions and made us feel very welcome. Some larger cities are within driving distance, San Gimignano and Siena are definitely worth visiting, as are some of the smaller villages with amazing views and small cafes and restaurants to discover. We all had an amazing holiday that we will remember forever. This place exceeded all our expectations and we hope we can return one day.

Magic Place in Tuscany
We were so happy with our holiday in the fabulous house of Il Tirrone that we decided to come back in the following year with our friends to share with them magnificent view from the private garden, relaxing atmosphere and comfort of the spacious house and most of all hospitality of Elisa and her Mother. We could not expect more. One cannot describe the heart and love invested by both Ladies to create such magic place. Whereas in the house you will find everything you need from toaster to washing mashine, in Radicondoli you will find trattorias with delicious food (we tried all of them), shops, bank (cash machine), kind people and thousands of places to admire and make photos.

Fabulous house in glorious location
Lovely welcome from Elsa - an fantastic traditional meal mid week.
The house was beautiful and spacious with everything you could need.
Children - 8, 10, 12, 13 loved house and garden - especially the tortoise!
Traditional hill top village with plenty of character and amenities -shop, restaurants, bank, tourist info, bakery,
Breathtaking view over countryside.
Would love to return in near future
