High qulaity accomodation provides tranquility on the quiet side of Gilli T
Very spacious accommodation of high quality set in own garden on the quiet side of the island provides much needed peace and tranquillity after a day on Gilli T. The bedrooms have good air-conditioning and all rooms are serviced each day. The kitchen is well equipped and you can order in groceries, beer and wine, even so restaurants providing excellent value breakfasts or evening meals with ocean views are close by. The small private beach next to the villa provides white sand and shade and access to coral reefs. Snorkelling from the beach is particularly good at high tide. The villa provides snorkels etc
Transport across the island is by walking, horse and cart or bike rental. Take advantage of the bikes provided by the villa. If you rent bikes make sure they are in reasonable shape, many are not, and you may be in for an uncomfortable ride.

Le paradis mais avec peu de services
Maison sympa avec plage privée ( à partager avec 2 bungalows), toutefois pour le prix le service est faible pour le pays. Attention au Check out qui doit se faire avant 10 heures ; nous avons limite été mis à la porte à 9h20 => dommage car l'endroit est vraiment idyllique.
A noter également un vrai bon système sono. Attention, il est excrément compliqué de ce baigner à marée basse de ce côté de l ile en raison des coraux.

Villa Sunset Beach
Beautiful villa. Quiet end of the island. Rooms and beds were fabulous. Outside area was just stunning. There was cold beer in the fridge waiting for our arrival and a few things for breakfast!
As a bunch of 30+s, we randomly played a game of sardines and there were lots of hiding places!
The sunsets are incredible.
If you want a sandy beach however, you need to head to other parts of the island. It was a fair compromise for us to stay away from the hustle and bustle.
Tymberlee is lovely. I thoroughly recommend this villa. Thank you for our stay Tymberlee!

Villa mit traumhaftem Sonnenuntergang
Wir waren 2 Familien und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Tymberlee hat uns Getränke, Obst und weitere Dinge bestellt. Bei unserer Abreise hat sie uns nur die tatsächlich getrunkenen Getränke berechnet obwohl sie mehr bestellen musste. Unser Lieblingsplatz war die kleine Hütte am Strand. Der Wohnraum wirkt durch die Deckenhöhe sehr großzügig. Es wird dort allerdings sehr warm. Obwohl die Villa auf der sehr ruhigen Nordseite liegt, gibt es in Lauflage genügend Restaurants. Wir haben uns im Wilsons besonders wohl gefühlt. Villa Sunset ist ein Platz, um sich zu entspannen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

Beautiful and romantic...
We stayd there 4 nights with 4 children(8, 6, 4 and 1 year old). House is located in the silent area of the island but there are many nice restaurants close to the house . And with bike you can get anywhere. From the centre we manage to rent a bicycle that accommodated adult and two children. We even walked once with children to the other side of island. House looks like on the pictures. Due to the fact that there is no air conditioner on the second floor it is relatively hot. Living room has air vans which circulate the air together with open glass doors very well.
Initially we were afraid that it is complicated to find a place to buy food in that island but ultimately we managed to find everything needed - even birthday cake was delivered to the door by the currier.
We spent really nice time there - children could run outside of the house and garden.
When leaving the house make sure you order horse cart on time - in peak hours (during lunch and check out time) it might delay significantly.

We rocked up unannounced and Tymberlee put us up in one of her bungalows. We were really impressed with the details, the bathroom was beautiful and we felt very pampered. It's in a spectacular, quiet location, but there are fantastic bars and restaurants a short walk/bike ride in either direction. The only downside was that we ran out of drinking water overnight, but the whole stay was so perfect otherwise - in future I would just make sure I checked we had enough during the day!

Beautiful villa, Perfect Location and a most Enjoyable stay!!
We had the most wonderful week staying in the villa with our 4 kids!! It is on the north side away from the busy main strip, which we loved. The staff is very helpful & friendly and kept the villa looking immaculate. Our favorite part of the day was relaxing on the terrace with a private beach view all to ourselves. The kids enjoyed snorkeling from the beach directly in front of the property and saw several turtle for the 1st time. Thank you, Villa Sunset Beach staff for such a fantastic holiday!!

Spacious villa right on the beach
Enjoyed 8 nights in the villa. Villa is a lovely big property right beside the beach. Villa is on the quiet side of the Island away from the main strip. We were looking for a quiet holiday so for us this was great. There are several resorts within a 5 min walk which you can go to for breakfast/lunch and dinner and which are all reasonably priced all right on the beach. Having dinner on the beach under the stars was fantastic. We were able to get the villa pre stocked with some essentials before our arrival. For fresh bread we went to Wilsons, a resort a 5 min walk away and asked them to bake us fresh baguettes which they did. Villa is very spacious, with cable TV. Villa is cleaned everyday by the house keeper who is always on hand and for a reasonable charge will do your washing while both Tymberlee, the owner and Tuks, the manager were always around and very helpful, even supplying a mobile for us to use (free of charge) while we were there. Bedrooms have air con, which is great. Rest of villa has plenty of fans to keep the air moving, but must admit would not want to sleep upstairs where there is no air con. Excellent scuba diving place Lutwala Dive just a 5 min walk away. Or if you don't want to scuba, you can just go snorkelling in front of the villa (bring reef shoes) and you will see the cast of Finding Nemo, including sea turtles which we saw every day. Make sure you go to Gili Meno and Air for the day. Had a great time and would recommend staying here.

A Beautiful relaxing time in the sunning Deluxe Bungalow
We had a lovely two night stay at the beautiful sunset, arriving just as the sun was coming down to a gorgeous skyline which the bungalow takes full advantage of! The service was excellent, with everything we needed for our stay. The out door Bathroom was luxurious, I very much enjoyed relaxing in a star lit bath looking at the open sky. The villa and Bungalows are away from the bustle of the main strip so you can fully relax but still get all the fun and use of all the diving trips and restaurants. Two days was not long enough, we can't wait to come back. Thank you Tyberlee

No air con upstairs, frequent power outages, far from main part of island
There was no air conditioning in the living room or upstairs and we weren't supposed to keep the windows open at night for safety reasons so it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. While the two rooms downstairs had air con, it frequently caused power outages. In our 3 days there, the power went off about 10 times.
The house is also remotely located, at the opposite part of the island from all the restaurants and shops. While it is nice to get away from the main trafficed area, it is a 15 minute horsecart or hour long minute walk in very hot weather to go anywhere and there is no grocery store and very limited food delivery options so you must leave to have any meals.
The hosts were nice but sometimes unresponsive. For example, the host said she would arrange pick up by horsecart for our check out. When the housecarts never showed up, my repeated calls to the host were never answered despite her saying she would be available 24/7. We eventually called our own horsecarts but since the house is 15 minutes away from the main area (30 minutes roundtrip from when we called our own horses), we were nearly an hour late, making it extremely stressful to make our flight from Lombok. The host also quoted us 2 million IDR for the horsecart, boat, and car travel and when we eventually just booked every leg ourselves, it came to 1.2 million IDR -- it made me very suspicious the host was trying to extract a large fee for arranging transport.
