We had a lovely time, every facility we needed was provided, beds were comfy, Morag had decorated the cottage for Christmas. It was a real home from home.
Plenty of off road parking space, even an electric charging point. We would certainly recommend staying here. Morag provides games etc for children as well as equipment every possible need is there

Lovely comfortable cottage
The cottage is light airy and nicely decorated.
It has everything you need to enjoy your stay.
It’s central to visit Glastonbury, Wells, Cheddar and Bath.
We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage and location.

Pretty cottage in the countryside
This is a very pretty cottage. The owner was extremely responsive and kind. It was very clean and well equipped with everything you need for a holiday stay. It was roomy enough for the five of us. Internet worked well, as did the cable. I would have rated this accommodation a 5 but for two things. First, it was difficult to find because it is not clearly enough marked. That fact did allow me to meet the neighbors a few doors down who have a similarly named cottage :-). Second, and frankly my most serious reservation, is the difficulty in parking and exit/entry from the driveway. It's very tight for a vehicle that is anything but a small sedan. It was a little nerve wracking getting in and out of the property. Backing in to the driveway is definitely the best way to go, but the road can be busy at times making backing into the property tricky.

Good morning John, l have now added the grid reference coordinates to my directions document. I'm hoping this will prove useful in pin pointing the cottage for guests using Sat Nav. The cottage takes its name from the adjoining farm which explains several properties with similar names surrounding the farmland. I'm sorry you had difficulty in the driveway, it's wider than many in the area and I'm sure in another car you were more familiar with it would not have been troublesome. Drivers familiar with these local roads have no difficulty gaining access. I point to the wood delivery chap who uses a crane to unload a pallet of wood by the garage door. I will agree that at times drivers can seem impatient while you are safely reversing into the driveway. Many thanks for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review of our cottage I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Best wishes.

lovely cottage in a pretty area near to lots of attractions
Cottage was very pleasant beds very comfortable, near to Glastonbury and Wells Lovely visit to Lytes Cary Manor well recommended. Food very nice at the White Heart Somerton.

Everything you could want for a short break
Our family of 5 adults stayed at Hodehay Cottage for a 2 night break with plenty of room for us all. The cottage was clean with comfy beds and quality bed linen. Booking was quick and easy and the friendly owner, Morag promptly answered any questions we had. A welcome pack of milk, eggs, bread, wine and biscuits was a great touch, thank you. We would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here.

Lovely cottage
5 stars from me, I couldn't fault the cottage at all.
All the reviews are spot on, the owner (Morag) lives next door but is never intrusive.
Would love to stay again.

Home from home
We booked Hodgehay Cottage last minute and Morag went out of her way to make sure it was prepared in time. The welcome pack was so thoughtful and appreciated. Everything has been thought of from cooking utensils to tin foil to fly spray (if you leave the door open in the hot weather like we did). The decor was lovely and the bed linen smelled so fresh. There were walking maps provided which we used to go for a 4 mile family walk. Great few days - thank you

Excellent holiday cottage for five.
Very comfortable holiday cottage which is bigger than it looks in the photos. Good size bedrooms with comfy beds. Through sitting room with large TV on one side and through kitchen-dining room on the other. Plenty of storage and everything provided. It all looked newly decorated. Owner next door, and always available to help, but never intrusive. Nice touch was 'welcome pack' of milk, bread, butter and eggs and, most importantly, a bottle of wine! Would strongly recommend.
