This place was breathtaking, we arrived and had the warmest welcome by Katia who showed us around and even though their was a language barrier we managed just fine.
We travelled with our 2 children who were ecstatic there was a pool as the weather was quite warm. Was a great central place to travel to places like Siena, Florence and Volterra the local Supermarket was a mere 10 mins away not to mention the great bar/restaurant across the lane with amazing food and hospitality.
Definitely worth booking this villa. 😊

Lovely
Yet another lovely week spent in this beautiful place. Many thanks to those 2 lovely ladies!! The roses looked better than ever. Only tiny complaint- we could have done with a sharp bread knife.

Lovely villa and pool, beautifully kept. Very well equipped and comfortable throughout. Catia and Cinzia are brilliant!

Formidable
Nous avons séjourné dans cet agriturismo une semaine ce mois de juillet. L'accueil est tout simplement parfait. Les propriétaires sont très à l'écoute et très gentilles. La maison est spatieuse, très bien équipée et le jardin un bonheur. La piscine partagée avec seulement un autre appartement de la maison est très grande avec une belle vue.
La maison se situe près de San Gimignano, et non loin de Sienne, Florence, Pise eet Volterra ce qui permet de bien découvrir la région (voiture obligatoire bien sûr)
Bref à conseiller sans aucun doute!

Great location, great owners
We stayed in the Lavanda apartment for 4 nights from June 11th through the 15th. There were four of us, all adults. The apartment was just as described; very comfortable and spacious. The views of the countryside were gorgeous, especially at sunset. The pool and grounds are kept in pristine condition. We ended up cooking most of our meals during the stay which was a nice change of pace from of the rest of our trip and the kitchen provided everything we needed. Florence and Siena are both close by and the cities of Cinque Terra are about a 2.5 hour drive. Castelfiorntino is a nice little town and on Saturdays have a market that includes produce and meats and such but also a huge selection of goods - scarves, wallets, clothing etc. Very fun.
Cinzia, her sister Catia, and 13-year old daughter Giulia all greeted us when we arrived along with a couple bottles of their delicious wine (which we purchased more of to take home at an extremely reasonable price). Giulia was an excellent translator for us since we speak very little italian, and Cinzia and Catia speak very little English. They were all super nice and patient with our questions. Just lovely people.
Simona, Cinzia's cousin, handled the booking for us and quickly responded to all inquiries we made.
I would definitely stay here again - for the location, the price, the people - it's the real deal.

Wonderful owners and great location.
We stayed at Agriturismo Giulia from November 9-23. There were 4 of us, 2 couples. The apartment is exactly as described and photographed. We ate breakfast and dinner in several times and found enough equipment in the kitchen to get the job done. The beds were very comfortable with lots of blankets ..... it was November!
The apartment is very well located just about midway between Florence and Sienna. There are also many hill towns to explore as well. If you haven't been to Tuscany before be prepared to see beauty everywhere you look.
One of our biggest delights was meeting and spending a bit of time with the owners and their family. Although there was a language barrier, they tried so very hard to communicate. And communicate they did! Just delightful and warm people that made a memorable impression on us.
If you fine that this place might suit your needs, don't hesitate. You will love it!

Casa fantástica y dueños encantadores.
Hemos estado en el apartamento Lavanda, la rientación es perfecta, sol todo el día y vistas a la campiña espectaculares. La casa es muy cómoda y espaciosa, cocina muy equipada. 2 habitaciones de matrimonio y una individual, 2 baños completos con plato de ducha, la casa tiene tres pequeños desniveles, 3 escalones, dos de los desniveles tienen puerta y el tercero, te facilitan una puerta de bebés.
La zona de jardín está totalmente vallada y la piscina también. Tiene una terraza cubierta a nivel con el jardín.
El trato de la familia inmejorable, acogedores en el recibimiento y atentos durante toda la estancia.
La situación de la casa es buena, máximo una hora de todos los puntos de interés.

Paradise!
We stayed at Agriturismo Giulia from June 26 to June 30, 2013. Our group consisted of two families (4 adults and 4 children aged 8, 10, 11 and 14 years old). Agriturismo Giulia was truly amazing! Simona, the lady we dealt with when booking, was very helpful and responded to all of our emails and questions on a timely fashion. The pictures you see are what you get - a beautiful, clean and spacious farmhouse with an amazing pool not to mention the breathtaking views of the Tuscan hillsides. The sunsets were spectacular!! Cinzia and her sister Catia greeted us upon our arrival. They were both very sweet and did their best to communicate with us despite the language barrier. The wine and olive oil they gave us (which by the way their family produces) were delicious! We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again! We would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the Tuscany area. As this place is out in the country a car is a must have - a GPS with updated maps is extremely helpful. The train station, supermarket and cafes are closeby. Castelfiorentino is a great town. We found the best caprese pizza in all Italy here at the Piazza John Fitzgerald Kennedy / Viale Potente (on Via Giovanni) - unfortunately we can't recall the name of the pizzeria! We can't wait to visit again!

Soggiorno meraviglioso
Siamo stati due coppie. La casa ofre tutta la comodita per essere insieme e godere la bella e atrezzata cucina, le cene insieme con camino acceso, un bel giardino e meravigliosa veduta.
Cinzia e Catia sono molto gentile e fanno il tutto con piena anima a far sentire bene.
Ritorneremo senz' altro.

ideal house in Tuscany
Location is great. Close to Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano....The house is very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and have a great fire-place for cool evenings.
The garden is very beautiful ,has a stunning view. Poolside must be very relaxing in summer. Owner Cinzia is very friendly and helpfull lady.We stayed 10 days and enjod vey much.
