I preface this review by saying we booked this apartment because it was cheap and at 230 Euros, it was about 85 less than I normally pay. However, on departing, we were advised of an additional "cash in hand" cleaning fee (no part of any agreement I made) but which I note has since been added into the first line of the description. I did not pay this fee, partly for that reason but mainly because the apartment was fairly grubby. So it would have been cheap but the extra 40 Euros mean other apartments are far better value and better furnished. The sweeping brush provided was bent in a Z shape and broke on being used. Overall, this apartment is in desperate need of refurbishment. I have stayed in apartments in Caleta 21 times, for reference. Good points. Located on Puerto del Sol, it is convenient for all amenities in the lower half of Caleta de Fuste. Swimming pool is around the corner from the apartment. Shower is hot. Bad points. Very small TV and no wi-fi. Not many plug points. No smoke alarm. It was not particularly clean. My partner spent several hours cleaning, especially in the shower/toilet area. The shower area is original and shabby; the sink tap is on top of a shabby cabinet and is surrounded by sealant and mould; there is no extractor fan so it always smells damp and there is no window to clear smells; You have to put bleach down the plugholes to stop it smelling too. The light shade was missing. The walls were flaking. The outer recesses around the door were unfinished and it just looks rather tired. The microwave works but grinds. The toaster looks minging. The hairdryer is on its last legs. One of the bedroom electrical sockets was loose. Privacy is minimal. The bedroom has slats which open directly onto a main route through the complex. The doors look out directly into the opposite apartment, the low hedge doing little to stop that and the patio looks out onto a sort of square but that is also a main thoroughfare. In conclusion, though it looks cheap, initially, you will get far better apartments for not much more which include the cleaning fee.

The apartment was ideally located 10 minutes from the airport taxi approximately €10 to €12, 10-minute walk to the beach the location was excellent the pool area was well looked after and clean, everything you needed was in the apartment towels bed linen, you feel very safe and secure in the area I would really recommend it and we'll look forward to hopefully booking again

It was my 4. stay in this Apartment and I have book again for 2023. Everything you need for self catering, shop and Restaurants nearby, lovely pool and sunny terace with sunbed. Easy contact to Louise, she came second day quickly to solve my problem with the new hobs. Of cource it could need some renovation, but for the price is it unbeatable.

Lovely host .but in need of tlc its clean.but need painting etc.and some new bedding etc the complex is very nice

A nice apartment at a great price, booking with Kathleen was efficient and the meet with Louise to collect keys was spot on. I’m currently here on the second of my 2 weeks sat on the sunny patio eating lunch. I’ve read the criticisms but honestly if some flaky paint is going to spoil your holiday then pay 3 times as much for a freshly painted apartment.

Amo Fuerteventura, quindi non riesco a parlarne male, poi Caleta e nel mio cuore, ll Paradise, è un paradiso, gentilezza, cordialita',tranquillita', è poi Louise è eccezionale.

Although we enjoyed our holiday in the sunshine I must point out that the apartment is in need of a thorough deep clean and also requires some maintenance We would go again if the apartment was given a bit of TLC
