just back from another great holiday.Apartment was upto its usual good standard.Appliances have been upgraded and the rest of the apartment clean and well kept.Ideal for shops and resturants only 10 mins walk.Met by Shirley who explained everything and was there if you needed to know anything.Thanks to Carmel and Billy for the excellent Xmas present and for the visit to make sure everything was ok.Will see you soon,Dave

The Castillo Mar complex is conveniently located for everything in Caleta de Fuste. Everything is nearby and it is a nice complex overall. Usually easy to park if you have a hire car and the pool was not excessively cold once you got in. This apartment (40) faces a wall so offers a good degree of privacy on the upstairs verandah. It is well refurbished and the shower is hot. If I was picky, it could have done with being cleaner and the tumble dryer had to be declogged of all the fibres that had accumulated inside it. However, I would recommend the apartment and location and it offers decent value for money.

Having previously stayed in 40 we decided to rebook this apartment and we’re not disappointed,Shirley and Carmel have provided clean , well equipped and welcoming apartment, nothing was to much trouble , Shirley is fantastic and always willing to help , have already booked for next year would highly recommend, Castillo Mar is a well looked after and was a very relaxing holiday , thanx Carmel and Shirley xx

We have stayed on Castillo Mar complex before so we already knew we love the complex but this apartment was far superior to our last one. We stayed at No.40 this time Carmel’s apartment is lovely. Very clean, well refurbished felt very comfortable to be in. Everything we needed beach towels, clean bedding, towels, hairdryer, air con works brilliant. Delighted to have a proper double bed, not 2 singles pushed together from previous apartments. My daughter had what she described as a very comfy pull out sofa bed. We all slept safely and soundly for our 10 day stay. The complex overall is such a friendly place to stay and we appreciated Shirley’s input during our stay helping us settle in right through to helping us arrange a taxi back to the airport when we left. We will definitely be back again very soon and always highly recommend our stay here. The only down side to the complex is the pool is only open from 10am til 8pm We do like to get up around 8am and go for an early swim before breakfast when we are on holiday and a bucket list of a midnight dip in the pool is off the cards. I know no big deal really but it would be nice to have full access to the pool at all times.

Just returned home another great holiday in Castillo Mar.The apartment was well equipped and had everything you need for your holiday.The apartment is well situated only a short distance to supermarket,resturants and bars.Thanks to Shirley always on call if needed even doing our paperwork for the airport

Back from a weeks stay at Carmel’s number 23, very clean and modern apartment, centrally located for all bar’s restaurants, yet nice and quiet for your evening sleep, we really enjoyed our stay, a special mention to Shirley, always out and about on site and goes above and beyond to make your stay pleasurable thanks again Shirley.

Just left this apartment after a lovely 5 night stay. Met on arrival by Shirley who explained things to us. Everything you could possibly want in the apartment. Apartment nice and clean Lovely pool area, three minutes walk to local supermarket and the same to some bars and restaurants. Had some lovely meals out. You cannot fail to have a lovely time in the sun. Thank you to Shirley who again met us at reception to make sure our taxi arrived to bing us back to the airport.

Been going to castilio mar for years and been in a lot but Carmel’s are beautiful apartments and have everything you could ask for and Shirley the lady looking after them is wonderful and so helpfull with everything you might need while you are staying there think if you give them a try you will go back every year like we do amazing apartments to rent love Caleta de mar

Enjoyed two weeks in this lovely apartment. Great situation close to the swimming pool and near the shops and restaurants in Calete de Fuste. Apartment was well equipped and furnished with everything in great condition. Lots of outdoor space too.

Arrived at complex to find Heated pool empty due to leak ,apartment smelled damp and we could not stay there as damp smell brought on my partners asthma.Had to negotiate return of money at a loss of 73 euros and find other accommodation at 8pm this was difficult and we trawled around hotels until we found a vacancy .
