This a lovely two bedroom two bathroom apartment of excellent value, immaculately clean, within close proximity of the sea for swimming, relaxing or getting a wonderful vista across the Otranto harbour. Close to cafes, restaurants and the old town of Otranto, it is a great location to also explore other parts of southern Puglia. Audrey, the owner, was incredibly helpful and welcoming, responding immediately to any questions and giving special assistance where required. The parking for the car was very secure and literally outside the door.

We visited Otranto in June with 2 kids and 3 adults and loved this apartment. The apartment is located in a small development with parking right at the door and the sea literally 1 minute walk away. The little garden was a bonus for us to sit out for lunch. The space was very well set up for us as it allowed our family to be on one side of the property with bedrooms and bathroom, whilst my mother had her own separate space with a bedroom and bathroom. All equipment was covered, and more, and we never found ourselves wanting/needing anything that had not been supplied. However, there is no air conditioning, so had we been visiting in the height of Summer I think we would have struggled with only recirculating fans. Within a very short walk there are stairs to a beautiful sandy beach with the most beautiful turquoise water which is runs with a very shallow gradient so you did not have to worried about children plunging off a ledge. It should be noted that you are not in the heart of Otranto old town and this is a pleasant 10 - 15 mins walk (with a double buggy) along the promenade. There are many excellent restaurants, ice creams, shops, a nice play park and plenty activity in the evening. Audrey and Davide were lovely and made the booking and arrival process super simple, some real Scots hospitality in Salento, can't wait to visit again!

Myself, my wife, my wife's parents and our three children (13, 9, 7) stayed in the apartment for two weeks at the beginning of July. The apartment suited us perfectly. It was clean, had everything we were looking for and had enough space that we didn't feel we were getting caught under each other's feet. The location is perfect with easy access to local supermarkets and a short 5-10 minute stroll into the centre of the town. The beaches, which are only a few hundred metres away, were absolutely perfect for the children as they are well protected, with shallow, crystal clear water. There are also a number of rocky coves providing great diving and snorkelling - one directly across from the apartment. Great to have easy parking also. The view across the bay is stunning, picture postcard stuff! The old town offers a great location for a stroll around at evening time with it's mix of narrow streets, restaurants, old houses and the Cathedral - well worth a visit for the mosaic floor. The town itself is very compact and easy to get around so no real need for a car. If you do hire a car, there is a great drive down to Castro with plenty of little coves etc to stop off at for a swim. The scenery is spectacular. Our party consisted of a set of grandparents, 2 sets of married offspring and 2 grandchildren aged 2 and a half and 4 months. An ideal location just 5 minutes walk to a sandy beach, perfect for young children.or even less if you just want to swim. The evening walk into Otranto its self was about a 10/15 minute stroll. The apartment was ideal, 3 bedrooms and no one sleeping in the kitchen! For me the best space was outside where we were able to have breakfast and lunch every day of our 11 day stay. I would certainly go back if we all go again. Communication with Audrey and Davide was always quick and I don`t think anything would have been too much trouble.

Das Appartment ist sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Beschreibung des Objektes entspricht exakt der Realität. Davide und Audrey sind sehr herzliche und nette Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation war super. Die Lage ist absolut ruhig und dennoch zentral, so dass man abends kein Auto braucht, um die vielen guten Restaurants aufzusuchen. Sehr empfehlenswertes Objekt.

The apartment is very clean, well maintained and equipped. Audrey was very helpful in getting us settled and orientated, and was nearby if needed. Location is excellent - there is a nice beach less than five minutes walk away, and the old town + wonderful beaches are about a five minute walk along the front. The neighbourhood is quiet and residential, with two decent supermarkets nearby. The apartment is very well suited for young families. It is on the ground floor and there are no steps, so ideal if you have a buggy. Audrey provided a really good quality travel cot and high chair - our four month old slept better than he does at home. Only other points to note is that one of the bedrooms is at the other side of the apartment to the main two bedrooms, so you will not hear any waking baby in the night (could be a good thing) unless you have a baby monitor. And the floors are hard tile throughout so you may need to take that into account with crawlers / toddlers. The nearby beaches are ideal for kids - lovely sand and shallow warm water.

This rental has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Good for families or 2 couples. Great location. Extremely close to beaches and center of town. Excellent parking. Otranto is very interesting, great old town, excellent restaurants. Hosts Audrey and David are very friendly, speak English too, are easy to reach in case of problems.

Really nice apartment on the ground floor suitable for both small children and older travellers. We travelled with our 2 and 4 year old daughters and our grandparents. Very quite place close to the sea. We were surprised by variety of the beaches (sand, rocks ... and all within walking distance). For us the advantage also was that it was not far from the centre but very quite in the evening. We could park our car in front of the apartment. We can only recommend this apartment.

Ho trascorso una settimana con 6 amici in questo bellissimo appartamento in Otranto! Audrey, la proprietaria, è stata fin da subito molto disponibile e ha sempre tempestivamente risposto a tutte le mie email con gentilezza e professionalità. Al nostro arrivo in Otranto Audrey ci ha concesso di fare il check in qualche ora prima dell'orario indicato da contratto, evitandoci così di rimanere ore in attesa sotto il caldo sole pugliese. La casa che abbiamo trovato andava sicuramente oltre le nostre aspettative! Innanzitutto la posizione è fantastica, in quanto è situata a due passi dalla spiaggia di Otranto, che sembra una piscina naturale e dal centro storico della città, pieno di negozietti, bar, ristoranti, ecc. L'organizzazione delle stanze era perfetta, infatti, pur essendo in 7 persone si poteva godere dei propri spazi privati nelle camere da letto e nei due bagni, molto grandi e dotati di doccia, e condividere invece gli spazi comuni sia esterni (un cortile esterno con ampio tavolo, ombrellone, stendibiancheria, ecc) che interni (la cucina, nuova in tutto e per tutto e accessoriata a dovere, la sala da pranzo con un ampio tavolo e un divano su cui riposarsi). Inoltre sono rimasta colpita dalla presenza di spazi adibiti appositamente per la spazzatura, la lavanderia e il ripostiglio in cui potrete trovare ombrelloni, giochi da spiaggia, giochi per i bambini, attrezzatura per pulire la casa, ecc. Siamo pienamente soddisfatti dalla scelta di questo appartamento, che consiglio a chiunque voglia gustarsi le bellezze di Otranto e dintorni.
