A holiday to remember!
I stayed in this wonderful villa in July 2010, with another couple and their child. The house is surrounded by greenery, is well-groomed, new and comfortable. The owner and his family are very helpful. The house is a large swimming pool that is subject to regular cleaning by the owner and it has various areas in the sun and shade. On request there is also a "cooking school" during which the owner tells you how to cook some local products. The house is located in the countryside between Monopoli and Alberobello and the beach is about 10 minutes by car. We will go back for sure.

Leaving so soon.
We stayed at the end of June in this villa with my family. We simply loved it. The house owner was very helpful and friendly. Great location, well equipped house, nice pool, and fresh fruits from garden.At the end of our stay my kids asked me" leaving so soon?" We will return.

Simply heaven
It was a fabulous stay for our family (3 adults, 2 kids and a dog) at the villa for 3 nights. We met the owner and family: very helpful people. The house was actually bigger than what the pictures were showing. Super clean. Everything was there at our disposal. Towels and linens were provided. The pool was sparkling. The use of the outdoor shower was very practical. The property was gated and there was plenty of shade for the car. The terrace on the 2nd floor was very useful for our dog. It provided him shelter while we were out and about. The roof terrace provided an amazing 360 view at night. The kitchen had enough plates and glasses for 10 people. Our family really enjoyed walking amongst all the fruit trees on the property and hearing the goats during the day. Overall, a very enjoyable, relaxing, practical stay at the villa. Would have loved to stay longer...

Excellent relaxing holiday
We have just returned from a very enjoyable relaxing weeks holiday staying at Casa Sergio. The villa was clean, spacious and well equipped. We were given very useful information about local supermarkets and restaurants and enjoyed visits to Monopoli and Alberobello. Both Sergio and his parents were very welcoming and ensured that we had everything that we needed during our stay, including home grown produce and some home made bread and pasta. The whole of our party took part in a cookery lesson which was excellent and we have bought ingredients to try out our cooking skills at home! We also particularly enjoyed seeing the baby goats who were born just before we arrived.
We were treated to an amazing firework display on our last night which we viewed from the villa.
We would have loved to stay for longer and will recommend the villa to family and friends.

Fabulous holiday that exceeded expectations
Casa Sergio is truly a wonderful villa with all the comforts of home. It is conveniently located within minutes of Alberobello, the sea and other unique sites. My family visited from the U.S. in early October. The house has all modern amenities, plus satellite TV, computer access, and wireless service. The owner and his family were always available to answer questions, provide advice and cater to our every need; including providing us with a GPS so that we wouldn't get lost driving around the area! My family had a wonderful 2 weeks in beautiful Puglia and at Casa Sergio. We particularly enjoyed walking around the well kept property of olive trees, grape vines, fruit and nut trees. Sergio and his family very generously provided us with lots of treats from the property during our stay, as well as, teaching us the art of making true Italian pizza and pasta. I would highly recommend Puglia as a holiday destination. The food is amazing and the people are kind and friendly, as evidenced by the hospitality of the Veccaro family at Casa Sergio!

Merveilleuses vacances
La casa sergio est tout simplement magnifique nous étions 6 et nous avons passés de merveilleuses vacances dans cette villa pleine de charme.
Tout confort, très bien équipée et très propre avec en prime un accueil irréprochable, une famille généreuse et très serviable.
De plus un petit commerce typique a proximité pour s’approvisionner et une pizzeria à en tomber.
Rien à redire : vacances au top et nous avons hâte de revenir

Amazing house with a great vibe!
The house is reasonably big and modern and the pool and pizza oven are great outside amenities!
Sergio's English was great and easy to deal with as he had lived in London for a little bit.
Giovanni, Sergio's farther, was very kind and always at hand! He brought us numerous fresh foods including strawberries, olives, dried figs and wine!
Sergio showed us the fastest way down to the beach, the mini mart and a great restaurant called Mia Terra!
I would definitely recommend this house to anyone as everything was great about it!

Great house in a great location
We loved staying in this house. It is very well appointed, spacious, clean and modern. As a previous reviewer has noted, the house in reality is far better than the pictures. The views are lovely and the area is so peaceful and quiet. Sergio was great to deal with and very helpful and his father was so kind and gracious bringing us many gifts of his produce to try. We felt very welcome and this enhanced our stay in the area. The house was perfectly located for getting around to the sights in this part of Puglia and I would definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to this area of Italy.

Relaxing, friendly high standard villa
We stayed here as a family of 5. Sergio and his dad were really welcoming. The villa is set in its own fields and gianvito gave us regular gifts of fresh fruits that were really lovely. The figs, grapes, wine, strawberries, apples, pears, olives were truly wonderful. Thank you for looking after us and giving us a great holiday. Sergio's suggestions of where to go really made our holiday, everything he suggested was really enjoyable. We would recommend this as a great place to stay to explore this area.

Fantastic holiday, very relaxing
After spending the last 25 years renting villas abroad, this is the first one we would go back to..again and again. It is not only the beautiful and peaceful setting, the wonderful outside space, but the warm welcome you receive from Sergio and his parents. The hospitality given was exceptional, you felt like part of the family.
It was a sad day when we had to leave, but we will be back.
