Wir hatten als 5köpfige Pachtworkfamilie mit erwachsenen Kindern die Unterkunft gemietet. Alex und seine Mutter Suzie sind sehr nette Gastgaber. Wir hatten Wohnung Nr. 4 mit einer großen Terasse und Blick auf das Meer und die Berge. Die Einrichtung war ordentlich und zweckmäßig. Es gab Handtücher und Bettwäsche, die während unseres 10tägigen Aufenthaltes ein Mal ausgetauscht wurde. Obwohl unser Flug 3 Stunden Verspätung hatte, wartete Alex auch noch am späten Abend auf uns und erklärte alles sehr geduldig. Der Kühlschrank war mit Milch, Wasser, einem selbstgebackenen Kuchen, Erdbeeren und Raki gefüllt. Außerdem lagen noch Instandkaffee, Tee, Zwieback, Marmelade etc. bereit. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Zweckmäßig die 3-Schicht-Fenster: Läden, Fliegengitter und Fenster. Im Badezimmer gab es an der Dusche auch einen Vorhand, was eigentlich in Griechenland weniger üblich ist. Die Terasse war sehr schön und groß, außerdem nicht einsehbar. Die Wohnung Nr. 4 hat außerdem noch 2 kleinere Balkone. Auf der Terasse stehen auch Liegestühle und ein großer Sonnenschirm, sowie ein Grill, den wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Die Lage ist außerordentlich gut. Man ist nach wenigen Metern am Stand von Stavros und hat mehrere Tavernen in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Stavros ist sehr ruhig. Wer Disco-Rummel sucht, findet ihn hier nicht. Das war sehr entspannend. Man kann hier wirklich herunter kommen und sich richtig erholen. Parkplätze sind auf der Straße, die vor dem Haus verläuft, vorhanden. Diese Straße wird aber sehr wenig genutzt und ist ruhig. Evl. hört man mal Lachen von den Tavernen in der Umgebung. Mehr nicht. Die Wohnung Nr. 4 hat zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils 2 Betten und ein Schlafsofa in der Wohnküche. Es ist genügend Geschirr und Besteckt vorhanden, sowie ein 2-Platten-Herd und ein Wasserkocher sowie ein Sandwichmaker. Für unsere Ansprüche war die Ferienwohnung absolut ausreichend. Wir würden Alexis Apartemens sofort wieder buchen.

I felt like an esteemed guest when I was met (late) by Alexis finding the place in my hired car and delayed flight. The attention to detail and cleanliness of the apartments is excellent. Very subtle but nice touches. Mother and son make a great team and offer great support when I was there. That is very special and unusual and worth commenting on. Local Tavernas can be good at some things. Local small supermarkets nearby if you have a car. Lovely safe beaches surround the place...perfect for swimming at all ages. I had a lovely time there...made especially good by the hosts Alexis and Suzy (Mother)....even had a very sweet 'welcome pack' in the fridge to welcome me....awesome! I went to Stavros in Crete to write and relax and it was the perfect place for both. Alexis Apartments are literally seconds from the beach and cater for all your needs. I enjoyed having breakfast on my veranda and lunch/dinner in one of the many restaurants minutes away - although I also loved having the option of cooking for myself inside the apartment. The owners made me feel welcome and catered for without impeding on my privacy and even made sure I had the bare essentials in the fridge when I arrived so I was able to sit and have a coffee the minute I got in which was wonderful after a days travelling. I'm already looking into booking this place again! Highly recommended! Absolutely loved it.

Io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo alloggiato qui per due giorni. Siamo stati accolti benissimo. Appartamento pulito e comodo per la posizione, eravamo vicino alla spiaggia!

The main reason I am giving this place 5 stars is for the helpfulness of the owner's mum, Susie. My wife managed to step on a needle on the beach (apparently a very rare occurrence, don't let it put you off!) on the day we arrived, and Susie drove us to hospital (45 min away), talked to the doctors for us and made sure we were seen, waited with us for about 3 hours and drove us back again. We cannot thank her enough for this. The apartments themselves were very nice, a good size and good amenities. Very close to the beach too, which was handy for popping back when we got too hot. Unfortunately, the air con in our apartment did not work well, so we had a number of very sweaty nights, but that is probably our fault for coming in June!

The Main room and balcony size was much bigger then expected . Great quite location 30 sec walk to very nice sandy beach. No problems with the WiFi,spotlessly clean, Air con in bedroom and main room worked perfectly. Great security in all rooms with shutters and double glazed locking doors/windows. Small but adequate kitchen plus fridge with small freezer compartment . Amazing value for money would highly recommend these apartments.

These apartments are excellent value whilst being spotlessly clean and very functional. They have everything you need and are in a perfect location about 50 meters from the beach, and the beach is perfect. (earlier review said 15 mins to beach, its literally 1 mins slow walk) They are also very quiet. Took me a while to write the review. But thinking of going back next year reminded me.

Alexis Apartments liegen in Stavros bei Chania (nicht weit weg vom Flughafen). Um die Ecke nicht mal zwei Minuten zu Fuß entfernt befindet sich der idyllische Strand, wo 1964 der berühmte Film Alexis Sorbas gedreht wurde und Antony Quinn Syrtaki getanzt hat. Das Zimmer Nr. 1 war leider im Erdgeschoss, ohne Blick aufs Meer aber sauber. Frau Susie war mehr als gastfreundlich, sie hat uns einen leckeren, selbstgebackenen Kuchen geschenkt und hat uns mit Wasser, frisches Obst, Ouzo, Butter, Marmelade und Zwieback willkommen geheißen. Was negativ war, war dass das Telefonnetz und der Internetzugang eingeschränkt bzw. problematisch waren. Der Kühlschrank war überfordert und hat die Wasserflaschen nicht richtig gekühlt. Wir bekamen Besuch von zwei Kakerlaken wegen der Senkgrube-Entleerung wurde uns erklärt...
