Dear Ms Brigitte,
thank you so much for choosing Villa Merlata as a place to spend your holidays and we hope to have you again as our welcome guest one day,
I just wanted to clarify a few things:
When you booked the villa you knew about the extra cost in regards to underfloor heating, and final cleaning (this is written in the villa conditions and rules on our website and on all OTAs)
In regards to the noise disturbance which had coming from the neighbor's house who washed the means he uses for his work with a pressure washer and in addition they were building a villa 150 m away which from next summer will be an holiday accommodation like ours ( noises that occurred during weekdays started from 09:30 in the morning) I'm sorry but we certainly couldn't tell them anything, they respected the rules established by the Italian law (we too, during maintenance periods and summer openings, emit the same noises when we have to clean the square and arrange the garden at the beginning of the season).
Unfortunately, although the villa is surrounded by nature with complete privacy, we are not the only house on an island.
Madam, you know very well that we have done everything possible to make your holiday unforgettable, we left the swimming pool open (even if in time it should have been closed and covered. We also fixed the pool lights to make you a nice atmosphere in the evening, a problem that occurred at the end of the season and which theoretically had to be resolved at the beginning of next summer (since it was not the opening period and fortunately we had them replaced (at your request) thanks to the availability of our collaborators who had to immerse themselves in the water at 11 degrees). We arranged the shopping in the villa for you without charging the service.
Having said that, we thank you warmly and in any case we apologize for the inconvenience not caused by us
