Polignano a Mare is a gem and not to be missed.
White Flowers house, a great place to stay: spacious, comfy, quiet (away from the street), light, cool, airy and spotlessly clean. Just short steps up the main drag to the old town. Shops and cafes in abundance, nearby bakery, market, pharmacy etc. Paolo the host very friendly and helpful. Had water and juice in the fridge for us when we arrived, and brought us some superb local ice cream. Unfortunately it was too hot to go up on the roof terrace. We preferred the cool inside or swimming in the beautiful Adriatic Sea.

Ottimo
Ho soggiornato per il ponte del primo maggio e ho trovato l’appartamento esattamente come mostrato nelle foto, pulito , spazioso è dotato di tutto il necessario. La posizione consente di raggiungere il centro storico in pochi minuti, così come servito da ogni tipo di negozi. Il proprietario Paolo è una persona molto gentile, ci ha accolti con cortesia e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni di cui avevamo bisogno , inoltre si è reso disponibile per tutto il periodo della nostra permanenza. Se dovessi ritornare a Polignano ritornerò sicuramente in questo appartamento. Lo consigli vivamente.

la casa perfetta
Siamo stati nella splendida Polignano per 5 giorni.
La casa di Paolo e' perfetta per 4 persone, l'aria condizionata nelle camere ci ha salvato dal gran caldo di questa estate.
Le stanza sono molto grandi e la cucina e' completamente attrezzata, come del resto la fornitura di biancheria per il bagno.
Il paese e il mare sono raggiungibili a piedi e davanti a casa c'e' un ottimo supermercato.
Insomma cosa dire, tutto perfetto, grazie Paolo, a te per la tua gentilezza e alla splendida Puglia che c'ha ospitato.

Excellent apartment and owner
I would endorse everything the previous reviewer said about this apartment and its owner. The location is good and whilst it is located on a busy street, the living accommodation is located away from the road and one is unaware of any street noise. We had a week there and are much fitter after the daily or twice daily climb of the 50 plus stairs to reach the apartment door! But this is clearly stated in the apartment description.
Paolo had excellent communication with us both before and during our stay answering any enquiries promptly and fully. His was a reassuring presence, seemingly always near but out of sight until needed. He provided us with the timetable of transport from the airport to Bari and from Bari to Polignano, met us at the station, gave us a brief tour of the town in his car, purchsed the gift of a foccacio for our first meal and left water and fruit juice in the fridge.
The bed is comfortable and ample towels are provided. The weather turned cooler after our arrival and soon there was a text from Paolo offering additional bedcovers. The return to the station was equally smooth and Paolo enquired if there was anything we felt we needed that the apartment did not have - he seems genuinely keen to please.
Highly recommended.

Lovely Apartment in the quaint resort of polignano a mare
We have just returned from a two week vacation in the beautiful Polignano a mare. The White Flowers apartment is modern clean and spacious in an ideal location near to the train station, town centre and the sea all within easy walking distance. The Apartment is located on a street where is there is a supermarket, several geletaria and a bakery is just around the corner, at the end of the street is the historic old town where there are numerous restaurants. The Apartment is as described and has all amenities listed it has two large bedrooms with a balcony looking onto a side street it also has WiFi which we found very useful when planning trips and checking out restaurants. We received a very warm welcome from paolo the owner of the apartment, we were giving a tour of the town on arrival and we were giving a lift from and to the train station. Paolo was very kind thoughtful, there was juice, water supplies left in the apartment and two pizzas were purchased for us on arrival, these kind gestures added to our wonderful holiday experience. I would recommend this apartment if you are going to stay in polgignano a mare or use it as a base if touring the pulgia region. The Apartment is located on the second floor so may not be suited to guests with restricted mobility.
