As part of our travels through Southern France we stayed here for two nights before heading for home in Australia. Hanneke and Tony were more than welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting them. The gite is truly magnificent, spread over three levels with superb views over the surrounding countryside and towards Mur-de-Barrez. Loved the donkeys grazing in the field below the gite. Its only a few minutes to Mur-de-Barrez for supplies and the kitchen facilities were second to none. Everything is there that you need for a long or short term stay. Thank you, Hanneke and Tony

This is a super Gite in a wonderful location. The converted barn has a very large open plan ground floor with very well equipped kitchen, lounge and dining areas and a lovely balcony which looks south west across the valley to the beautiful countryside beyond. We really enjoyed sitting in the evening sun and enjoying the superb view. Bedrooms are very clean with comfortable beds and high spec. ensuite shower rooms as well as a full family bathroom. Lovely cotton towels. Comprehensive washing and drying facilities. This Gite really has the 'wow' factor and is comfortable and spacious. The charming town of Mur de Barrez is just a few minutes away by car and the whole area is full of pretty villages, wooded gorges and meandering rivers. We enjoyed visits to magical Valon and charming Entraygues and we were only sad that we didn't have time to visit all the bonnie places nearby. This area really is la Belle France. Hosts Tony and Hanneke made us very welcome and gave us every assistance to make our holiday a memorable one. Their gite really is first class and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Le Grange and this wonderful area of France to anyone.

We have been promising ourselves that we would come here for a few years now. We finally made it and we have not been disappointed. The accommodation is spacious, bright and airy with views to die for. Tony and Hanneke have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, relaxed and stress free. The kitchen is so well equipped you have no excuse for not producing gourmet meals!!! The three bedrooms are large, each with their own en suite, but a separate family bathroom is ideal for those who like lounging in a big bath after a hard day of doing not a lot. There is a fully equipped laundry and plenty of outside space to relax in and soak up the scenery. With huge skies and no light pollution it is the perfect place for watching the sun go down and star gazing late into the evening. We have traveled far and wide and stayed in many self catering places, but I can say hand on heart, this beautiful place knocks everything else we have seen in to a cocked hat. Quite simply perfect. La casa è molto bella, molto grande, arredata con gusto e al contempo comoda, pratica e accogliente. Il paesaggio è davvero mozzafiato e i dintorni offrono molteplici attività per tutte le età. Molto adatto alle famiglie con bambini, ma anche alle coppie in cerca di un posto romantico. La compagnia degli asinelli è davvero emozionante. I proprietari rispecchiano le qualità della casa, davvero disponibili, simpatici, accoglienti e molto discreti. Un posto dove ritornare!

Had a fantastic time staying at Les Secrets du Bonheur and would thoroughly recommend anyone staying there. The Gite is luxurious and high spec and the surroundings are spectacular. You are only a five minute drive from Mur de Barrez, an historic town full of character, and there are also lots of activities you can do not far away including kayaking and swimming in the lakes. If you wanting a relaxing time in a lovely setting then Les Secrets du Bonheur is for you.

We wanted a getaway from it all break over New Year and couldn't have dreamed of a better place. Magnificent views, house extremely well equipped, good heating and wood burner, plenty of hot water, luxury bed linen and towels. Six friendly donkeys in the garden so no food waste!! This is a stylish and spacious property, set in the rolling hills of Aveyron, very close to Mur de Barrez, the gite is spacious, very well equipped and has a beautiful view out over a picturesque valley. Hanneke and Tony could not be more friendly, helpful and accommodating, and are a mine of information about the multitude of activities available locally. They also make some of he best pizzas this side of Italy...! Would unhesitatingly recommend for families or small groups as a base for a holiday.

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas at this beautiful, peaceful retreat. The gite is spacious and well equipped, the area is beautiful and unspoilt and Hanneke and Tony are kind, generous and lovely hosts. It is a perfect location to do as much or as little as you wish: some days we stayed in and played games by the fire, at other times we went for drives and enjoyed the beautiful villages in the area (I would highly recommend a visit to Conques.) Mur de Barrez itself is unspoilt by tourism and the local people were very friendly. Les Secrets des Bonheur is the perfect place to unwind and discover this lovely corner of rural France and was perfect for our Christmas vacation. Thank you Hanneke and Tony!

We spent fantastic holidays in Carladez (the name of this country). We hiked a lot and saw beautiful landscapes, visited castles, swom in lakes,fished truits, met lots of very kind and authentic people. The barn was beautiful, modern but with the charm of th eold time, cosy and large and very comfortable. All the family (my wife and my 4 kids were very happy in Mur de Barrez. Moreover, our owners were so kind and very helpful. If you like hiking in the country or if you do not (you could spend your time admiring th elandscape from the terrasse. I am sure you will find the bonheur in Mur de Barrez. Be careful because you will need lots of strengh to leave this country and this beautiful barn.
