Это одни из Самых уютных апартаментов, где мы жили за последние несколько лет. На удивление, но в этой маленькой квартире есть всё необходимое. Даже пляжные аксессуары (зонты, стулья). Два кондиционера. Количество полотенец более чем достаточное. Полностью оборудованная ванная комната. Кроме большого шкафа есть комод для белья. Самое практичное расположение мебели. Про стиль и качество можно написать отдельный отзыв. Скажем лишь, что там даже керамическая раковина в росписи, все белые с вышивкой занавесочки, костяные ручки у столовых приборов, дерево старое-качественное, которое хочется трогать, скатерти, посуда все даже не luxury, а именно то, что чувствует и думает, даёт хозяйка.. видно, что каждая деталь - это эмоция, которая западает в душу навсегда... только в этом доме чувствуешь, что такое - верный правильный выверенный интерьер... и это ни с чем не сравнимое чувство... Наличие всех видов скатертей, салфеток тканевых и бумажных. Оливковое Масло, чай, кофе, соль, перец, печенье, тосты, молоко, конфитюр и самое самое приятное и трогательное, это сицилийская бабуля, которая точно в подходящий момент принесёт местные деликатесы собственного приготовления...

Casa Orni really is a hidden gem in the beautiful town of Modica. This beautiful and curated apartment is perfectly situated in a peaceful neighbourhood just by the main street, Corso Umberto. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable with all details you can imagine, and it was sparkling clean. The view from the balcony is priceless, and we used to sit there every morning for moka coffee, enjoying the view of this exceptional town. Ornella was extremely quick to respond to all our needs and all communication was relaxed, but professional. Valentina, her friend, welcomed us with a big smile and explained all practical matters. Ornella's big-hearted neighbour Lidia welcomed us with delicious pasta (the best pasta al pomodoro we'd ever tasted!) and other delicious Sicilian dishes and she really made us welcome in Modica. All three women, and the beautiful and well-curated apartment made our stay an extraordinary experience in this beautiful and special town. Thank you, Ornella, Lidia and Valentina. We really want to visit again!

Eine Wohnung zum Wohlfühlen und zum Pläne entwickeln, was man anschauen könnte....einfach nur positiv....Sizilien ist ein bleibendes Erlebnis für uns...Modica und weitere Ziele sind alle lohnenswert...

테라스에서 보이는 풍경이 표현하기 힘들 정도로 훌륭합니다. 사진 이상이에요. S. Giorgio 대성당이 시야에 가까이 보이는 Modica Bassa 에서도 손꼽히는 풍경이라고 생각합니다. 아파트는 아늑하고 모든 것이 완벽하게 갖추어져 있습니다. 침대의 수로는 4명까지 투숙이 가능하지만, 크기로 볼때 성인 4명이라면 다소 답답할 수도 있을 듯 합니다. 그렇지만 불편할 정도는 전혀 아닙니다. 호스트인 Ornella 는 실제로 아파트에 살고 있지는 않습니다. 주로 Whatsapp 을 통해 연락을 나눴습니다만, 제가 경험한 그 어떤 호스트보다도 빠르고 친절하게 응대해 주었습니다. Ornealla 와의 커뮤니케이션에서 그 어떤 불편도 느끼지 못했습니다. 투숙 중에는 옆집에 살고 계시는 Lidia 할머니를 통해 실제적인 도움을 받을 수 있습니다. 영어로 의사소통은 어렵지만, 언어를 초월하여 따뜻함을 느낄 수 있게 해 주시는 좋은 분이었습니다. 도착 당일 근사한 홈메이드 파스타를 대접해 주셨습니다. 황홀한 경치가 보이는 테라스에서 맛본 Lidia 할머니의 파스타는 힘든 여정을 잊게 만드는 멋진 선물이었습니다. 거동이 불편한 분이나, 노인들에게는 투숙이 힘들 수 있습니다. Umberto 거리에서 계단을 꽤 올라야 합니다. (그러나 모디카에서 계단을 피하려고 한다면 당연히 근사한 경치는 포기해야 합니다.) 그렇지 않은 모든 분들에게 강력히 추천합니다! 멋진 경치와 좋은 이웃들과 함께 진짜 모디카를 느끼실 수 있을 것입니다!!

Modica is an unfussy, beautiful baroque town, and Casa Orni is the ideal base to explore the town and its environment. The apartment is everything you could wish for with great attention to detail - and the view from the terrace is outstanding. Watching the setting sun reflecting on the cathedral while the swallows whirl (a glass of vino rosso in hand..) became our evening routine, and I can picture it still. Ornella is a great communicator and made sure everything was set up perfectly for our stay - neighbour Lidia is a star, a wonderful warm lady who made our trip feel special. We visited over Easter and Lidia told us where to go to get the most out of the fesitivites - the 'kiss kiss' ceremony was a wonder to behold. I can heartily recommend Casa Orni to anyone visiting this fascinating region of Sicily.

Following a 23 hour treno note journey and a frustrating but ultimately successful rush to collect hire car in Syracuse met by Ciara who had found and reserved a free parking space close to the apartment and then shown to Casa Orin where neighbour Lidia had prepared mellanzane parmigiana, fresh spaghetti and a bottle of vine Rossi and water the holiday actually improved on a daily basis. The apartment has everything you could want without being over fussy or touristy and the view form the balcony is outstanding. Monica is so pretty with plenty of places to eat well from cheap and cheerful to fine dining. The variety of specialist food producers and purveyors have left us knowing we'll return - how did we not shop at casa de formaggio !!!!! Ornella was not there but actually made contact via text several times to check things were ok and has put together a beautiful introduction to get you started on your discovery of the immediate area and beyond. Always say I'll return to places but never do because I find somewhere better or more quirky however guess the first 2 weeks of or mid September will see us return. Casa Orni in Modica is one of the most beautiful and romantic places I’ve ever stayed, perfectly decorated with attention to every detail, warm welcome and lovely neighbours. With lots of beautiful towns and beaches nearby it’s a very good starting point to explore the south-east parts of the island!

This apartment is filled with lovely little details making our stay very comfortable. Beginning with the nice email contact before we arrived, we were welcomed by nice people, taken care of by a very friendly lady living next door. Equipment is fully sufficient including devices for the iphone, candles and so on. The location with a breathtaking view over Modica is situated very central to explore all the nice sights in Modica. We would return to this place at any time and can recommend it highly.

This is a wonderful apartment right in the heart of Modica. The outstanding highlight is undoubtedly the view from the balcony, which is absolutely breathtaking, and is the perfect backdrop to dinner in the open air. You have a panoramic view of Modica Alta and the stunning Chiesa San Giorgio, with a sizeable space for eating and drinking al fresco. The apartment is very well kept, and although the hostess, Ornella, wasn’t there during our stay, her friend and neighbour Lidia was extremely generous and helpful. Ornella provided us with a wealth of local knowledge, advice and recommendations, and Lidia was always around to help us out with any questions we had. The apartment is really handily situated near the main part of town, with lots of shops, cafés and restaurants just a short walk from the door. Modica itself is a lovely town, and it’s a great base for visiting the myriad sights and towns in the area. The decor is very tasteful, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook some locally inspired dishes to enjoy on the balcony. The place was a good size for the two of us, and we didn't want for anything during our stay. We’d definitely come back here, and we’ll be recommending it to family and friends.

Casa Orni is a cosy, well furnished and graciously decorated appartment with a spacious terrace, offering a mesmerizing view on old town Modica. The welcoming with flowers and fruits is hearthwarming. The place looks very nice on the photos, but the reality is even better and was beyond any of our expectations. It takes about 45 minutes to drive from Comiso airport and there is parking at 5 minutes walking distance from the house. Note that you need to do stairs to and from the house, as well as in Modica in general, since this is a town surrounded by hills. But the famous, delicious chocolat, the many nice restaurants, cosy coffee bars and the friendly people are worth every step.
