Wow, wow, wow!
When you view this property you'll probably think wow, this looks lovely! The reality is it's something else, it's absolutely out of this world! Firstly Leontine the owner is so lovely, from the moment we contacted her, her help, support and knowledge was fantastic. We met Leontine at the bottom of her
road and she took us up to her hideaway home, the views on the way up are breathtaking but when you reach the top and turn off the engine it's something
else! The silence is like nothing I've ever experienced before. The villa I don't know where to start. It's designed with passion and love. Leontine has a
wonderful eye for design and that's really what makes this home so very unique and individual. It has everything you could ever need. The home is spotlessly clean and you'll feel the passion and love
that has been put into it in abundance. The bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen are all gorgeous! Then you step outside the views are surreal, you feel like you're on top of the highest
mountain looking down the mountains change colour as the day goes by. Sunsets, sunrises & stars at night will leave you with memories to last a
lifetime. We loved the outdoor space the huge dining table, hammocks and numerous sitting areas around the property. We all loved the swings too
you're never too old! Leontine has made a viewing area to watch the sunset or just to sit and take in the awesome view. The pool is perfect too with again a
view to die for. Thank you so much we loved it!

Ein inspirierender Ort um sich auszubalancieren
Ein traumhafter Ort um sich vom Alltag zurückzuziehen, Kraft zu tanken und sich dem Wesentlichen zu widmen. Naturverbundene Menschen finden hier Stille und Inspiration zugleich. Leontine`s Haus und ihr naturnaher Garten werden von bizarren pitturesken Granitfelsen umrahmt. Der Ausblick auf die malerische Umgebung ist zu jeder Tageszeit ein Erlebnis. Der süßliche Duft des Schopflavendels und der Zistrosen machen schon den ersten Gang durch den Garten zu einem Wohlfühlerlebnis. Zahlreiche Wildpflanzen wachsen zwischen Korkeichen, Oliven und duftenden Ginsterarten. Wer genauer hinschaut kann im Frühling 4 Orchideenarten, wilde Alpenveilchen, Trichternarzissen und Traubenhyazinthen entdecken. Ein kleiner Küchengarten mit mediterranen Kräutern liegt der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche gegenüber. Die gesamte Inneneinrichtung wurde detailreich und ästhetisch designed und ebenso praktisch ausgestattet, so dass keine Wünsche offenbleiben. Wir konnten als Familie in den 2 Wochen herrlich entspannen und werden den nächtlichen Sternenhimmel, den harzigen Duft der Sträucher und die Morgensonne über den Granitflanken bis zu unserem nächsten Besuch in wohltuender Erinnerung behalten. Leontine ist die perfekte Gastgeberin und Sogno Sperduto, der perfekte Ort um abzuschalten.

Dear Sven, Stella and Noée, you feel like friends or family, were wonderful guests staying with me with terrific peaceful happy enjoying energy just as this retreat was meant to have. Thank you so much for your beautiful signed book and your expertise on plants and landscaping around the lodge and land.

A Truly Unique Experience
Leontine’s house is situated on the top of mountain among nature and majestic Sardinian rock formations, a modern escape equipped with great amenities, and a spacious, highly functional kitchen. If you love cooking, stocking up with local produce and taking your time to prepare a proper meal is simply fantastic. We spent our time surrounded by nature, with occasional visits from birds, cats, turtles, and neighbor’s lovely horse Ida. Leontine is passionate, resourceful, and caring, she even prepared us a simple meal upon our late arrival driving up from Cagliari. You would be in good hands.
There could be a learning curve to get used to the trail up and down hill, as part of the road are unsurfaced. And for automatic drivers, it would be helpful to arrange the car early as Sardinia has comparatively limited stock of automatics. But ultimately for us, with some small efforts of coordination, all the small surprises only added to the charm and uniqueness of the experience.

Coming from New York this nature location was a challenge to conquer and it was superb to see how you enjoyed your Sogno Sardinian experience and also advise others on the trip preparation with the right expectations and preparation for a good automatic car. Beautiful hideaway in the mountains
We had a lovely stay at Sogno Sperduto in October 2021. It's a cosy rustic-style lodge situated in an idyllic spot in the mountains near Olbia. The facilities at the lodge are excellent and the bedrooms very comfortable.
Even though October is supposedly off-season in Sardinia, most activities/restaurants were open and food as expected in Italy, is excellent. The hosts even took us on a boat trip for one of the days which was super fun!

Dear Marcus, thank you for your kind words. It was a real pleasure to host you and indicate you to places still open and worthwhile, although you did an excellent job yourself! Super to see how enterprising you were driving even to Alghero and Bosa and fun to take your son to the aquarium in Cala Gonone and climbing the cliffs. The skipper also told me you were a sporty family enjoying his boat but also his canoe and gear. Wishing you well, ciao!

True escape in a beautiful house
Sogno Sperduto is a perfect escape to enjoy Sardinia, close to the beaches with cristal water but away from the crowd, up in the rocky hills.
The road to access the house can be tricky with steep curves on gravelled unpaved road, but after trying it with our car, the owner offered us to use her own, and the adventure and pleasure to drive a 4*4 was added up to our stay on top of seeing wild boars on the way! Our only regret is to have missed the tortuga!
The house is thoughtfully decorated and has everything you need. It is bigger than it looks on the photos. For this season 2021, a rather big swimming pool (5m*7m) had been erected, and the children made the most of it.
The evening walks to watch the Sunset after climbing up some rocks and the nights with amazing stars was the extra bonus!
Definitely a place to treasure! Thanks for everything Leontine.

Dear Alix, thank you so much for your honest review. Indeed the access to this 'Sogno' is a bit tricky. We are 'battling' with the authorities of Sardinia trusting to have it improved, on the other hand we hope not too much so it remains a 'Sperduto' place away from the crowds especially with Covid;) We were very glad to be able to still accommodate you and your wonderful family after a last minute cancellation. It was a pleasure to lend you our Landrover and to notice your three kids enjoyed the pool thoroughly. You fit our profile of an adventurous family appreciating the lodge and land with its rocks, horse and wildlife during a well deserved escape from the Western World... We hope to welcome you again, ciao!

Heerlijke sfeer, privacy, natuur
Ik ben zeer uithuizig en ondernemend, maar hier kun je wel een week... gewoon... rust... Heerlijk! Lekker wandelen, stenen klimmen, planten, views, ondergaande zon, je voelt je een jager-verzamelaar maar dan van alle gemakken voorzien.

A perfect getaway .
We needed a quick family getaway and booked the overnight ferry from Livorno.
Arriving in the morning we followed Leo's directions and found the charming Sogno Sperduto just what we needed.
A car is a must and the location makes visits to the towns and beaches easy.
A great vacation.

Thanks so much. I am very happy you enjoyed my lodge, especially off season! A beach lunch and touring is done all year long, but you had some diverse requests like finding the right horseback ride. I really liked learning you even spent some creative family time baking cookies in the kitchen and found the perfect spa treatment when the weather was less.
