We booked 2 room houseboat directly from them. Stayed during last week of Dec22. Booking was nice and easy with utter professionalism. Boat was exactly the same what was show in the pic. It is a new boat with nice decorations. Food server is excellent and abundant in quantity. Both lower deck and upper deck have plenty of spaces to sit and roam around. All the 3 staffs were well behaved and polite. It was a lovely experience.

It was a nice experience to spend a day in house boat. Hospitality was excellent right from the beginning. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, food was very tasty and presentable. They even cooked us crab and lobster that we bought it from a shop. I highly recommend this when you in Alappuzha.

Boat rooms are very cleaned ,but is not I can expected ,very poor food .nice staffs I have enjoyed last three year food is not good.

Pournami houseboats have the best and cleanest boats, very courteous and friendly staff and excellent food.

Cruising along the river and watching local life was a memorable and beautiful experience. Thoroughly recommend the trip if coming to kerala. We had the boat to ourselves plus 3 staff. The staff pretty much left us to ourself, which was nice in many respects but I felt we could have heard a little more about local life during our 24 hour trip. The boat was fairly large and we had an ensuite (basic) and AC (which we struggled between freezing and boiling overnight).The one incident that sadly tainted it was being taken to a local seafood seller to buy some prawns to be added to our evening meal. We were stung 1,000 rupees for 6 prawns! Admittedly large ones (and beautifully cooked) but the price was extortionate even by tourist prices and we felt we had been conned which was a little upsetting. Prawn incident aside 😂 this trip was made for us by the excellent food served on board (compliments to the chef who we rarely saw) and beautiful scenery which could memorize me for hours...

Esperienza unica, da provare almeno una volta nella vita. Imbarcazioni dotate di ogni confort, con camere spaziose dotate di servizi degni di un hotel.Ottimo servizio di pensione completa, con cucina di buon livello e personale di bordo molto gentile e mai invasivo. Non c'è wifi.

Got opportunity to travel on Pournami's houseboat, it was a wonderful experience. The facilities, the crew and the food, everything was awesome. I wasn't expecting much in a houseboat, had imagined bad bathrooms and unclean rooms. I was terribly wrong! I was impressed by how nice the boat was and how well maintained they kept everything!! The interiors are really good. Wont forget the mouth watering food that they offered. Kerala Meals with Chicken curry and Karimeen Fry, evening snacks, etc. I would recommend Pournami to anyone. I went with my friends and we had a lot of fun on the boat. Thanks for a great experience. We had a wonderful time aboard!

I hired pournami houseboat at 2 nd October for 5 hours day trip , it was an awesome experience . They are very professional and we'll behaved . They served a lot of dishes and all are very tasty. Room was clean . The thing which I love about this trip is although we reached 1 hour late but it's not hamper my trip , they provide five hours non-stop houseboat service.
