Central to Skye sights but hard to leave studio to see them. Great views with wandering sheep to watch from comfortable chairs. Kitchen well stocked, and Portree co-op had everything needed for meals. Studio had everything in summary and overall exceeded expectations. Great design, modern and clean. Dunvegan castle and Fairy Glen close and our favorites. Felt very safe and private. Would plan any future Scotland trip around another stay here!

Just fabulous. Clean, comfortable, underfloor heating, lovely linens and soft towels, everything you need for a wonderful stay. Then there’s the view of the loch, just amazing. Sit in the swivel chairs at the window and watch the light change and the wildlife doing their thing was heaven. Will be back.

The loch view from our apartment surpassed our expectations and was lovely to return to after a day of exploring. The owners are lovely and the decor of the apartment is fantastic, with a pair of wonderful comfy chairs to relax in and enjoy the peace. We highly recommend this bolt hole.

Knott Cottage studios offer the perfect situation, comfort and base for exploring the beautiful Isle of Skye, relaxing in a stunning location or a combination of both. For the past 7 years, I have been staying at Knott Cottage in the apartment or either of the studios, with or without company and my dogs. The owners, Joyce and Brian, are wonderfully welcoming as well as being sources of limitless useful and interesting information. The location, on the shores of Lock Snizort, is breathtaking and it is easy to get lost in the ever changing colours and moods of sky and water. The accommodation itself is perfect, including washing machine, dishwasher, modern stove/cooker and waterfall showers in the studios that are absolute pleasures at the end of a long day of Skye hikes. Everything required to make a self-catering experience easy and fantastic is here. There are many possible and beautiful walks from the cottage itself and its central location makes trips out to other areas of the island a perfect starting point. Joyce's Yellow Book garden is a joy to behold and, if you're lucky, she may offer you some of their beautiful vegetables and herbs grown in their huge polytunnel! I could go on indefinitely with praise for this beautiful place. Every traveler may be looking for something different, but, for me, there is no need to look elsewhere. It's the best home away from home I know!

Spent a week on Skye in this wonderful studio with view of Loch Snizort from lovely big double window. Very cosy due to under floor heating. King size comfy bed. Good kitchen facilities and great walk-in shower.

Ideal setting and outstanding views of the loch from all windows. Studio furnished to a high standard with additional comforts - under floor heating and a rain shower. Only 20minute to Portree and a good base for exploring the island. If return to Skye would definitely book again.

Lovely, clean and comfortable accommodation. Everything required for a short stay holiday. View from window is so therapeutic - food for the soul!!! Owners are lovely people - very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much bother.

This studio was just superb. Tastefully decorated and well equipped with everything we could have possibly needed including maps & local information. Located in one of the prettiest parts of Skye, set in a lovely country garden and overlooking a peaceful loch, this studio provided us with a warm & comfortable haven after exploring Skye by day.

Es un departamento muy confortable con vistas increíbles al lago. Ubicado en medio de la naturaleza pero convenientemente cerca de la ciudad capital, Portree, a sólo 10 o 15 minutos en auto (imprescindible para alojarse aquí) por carreteras directas y excelentes. La anfitriona vive en el lugar y es muy amable. Departamento funcional, muy limpio, baño excelente y cama adecuada. Vistas insuperables. Altamente recomendable si se busca tranquilidad, confort y naturaleza.
