Beautiful beach house enjoys corner lot location with direct access to the beach. Abundant outdoor living is provided by two large porches overlooking the private pristine pool. During quiet times of the day listen for the relaxing ebb and flow of ocean waves. Home is thoughtfully laid out for both privacy and social interaction. Bedrooms are located on the main floor and top floor. Open, spacious and well equipped, the kitchen will be the hub of family activity.

Only 3 things to say. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. From location (short walk to beach) to private pool to bedding to kitchen. We wanted for nothing. Highly recommend to anyone wanting this part of SC coast. Been going to Litchfield 20+ years and never better.

The private pool and short walk to the beach are indeed a great combination for an “Excellent” vacation. The owners will be pleased to hear how well they have accommodated for your stay. Thank you for sharing!

Needs Some TLC!
The location of Lagerhouse was wonderful and in a quiet area away from traffic noise.
The living area was spacious and the screened porche was very nice. That said, we paid an extra $1000 for this rental for the July 4th week and we all agreed it was not worth it. This rental needs some TLC. Two of the TV's did not work, the shower curtain on the main level was mildewed and the beds on the main level were very uncomfortqable. (Two of our family slept on the couch instead of the bed.) A lot of the outside furniture needs to be thrown away or repainted!
The Litchfield employees were quick to respond to our problems and were great in trying to fix what they could. With just a little upgrqading, this could be a want to come back house.

We are pleased to know you enjoyed the great location, spacious layout and screened porch and glad to have helped with the concerns brought to our attention during your stay. Looking back, we can see the TV issue was due to operator error on the remotes, which as you say we were able to assist with. The owners are working on replacing outdoor furniture this fall in addition to several other upgrades to keep this home rental friendly. As a result of your review, the owners plan to try out the main floor beds during their next stay this fall to assess for replacement. Thank you so much for sharing!

Wonderful beach gateway
We had a wonderful beach and pool vacation, the perfect gateway after months of confinement at home! The rental agency was very professional and provided great services (clean house, pool maintenance mid week, easy check-in and check-out). We were 5 adults and 7 children and the house was just the right size. We enjoyed the body boards and inflatables that were provided by the house. The kitchen is well equipped and made cooking for so many people much easier. The beds were super comfortable. The only thing that could be enhanced would be to provide an additional table and bench (even foldable) to be able to seat 12 people at once. We brought our own, set it up on the porch and were happy with that.
