This fabulous cottage retreat will not disappoint, a short drive to the Beach and walk about the quaint shops in downtown Comox. The grounds and setting of this cottage are spectacular, lush with beautiful trees, flower gardens, and fresh prioduce at your finger tips....just amazing. Not a thing spared inside the cottage, a well appointed kitchen, Immaculately clean, large TV and cable, wifi, wee fireplace, just fabulous. Our hosts, Lu and John are the most gracious people, so kind and welcoming. We were greeted on our first day with fresh eggs from the “girls” on the property, a freshly homemade bread loaf, preserves and butter!!! Very special hosts. We just LOVED our stay. I highly recommend this rental, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect retreat that is pet-friendly and restful
Location was close to everything, beeches, shops. Cottage was a home away from home and much, much more. A wonderful private cottage that had everything you could need. Great facilities and wonderful reception, with little treats.
Cannot wait to go back for more exploring of the area. Comox valley was full of small surprises. A beech not far from cottage and we counted 20 bald eagles, 16 seals basking in the sun.

Charming pet-friendly oasis in a beautiful setting.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The Red Roof Inn Cottage is well appointed and very comfortable-- and pet friendly with advanced permission. The private yard/courtyard was delightful. We cooked most meals in and used the rest of the time to explore central and northern Vancouver Island. The owners were exceptionally attentive, friendly, and helpful.

Hospitality of our host and the cabin were great.
Everywhere we stopped from our home base was amazing. There was not one bad road trip. Comox was beautiful.

Very Relaxing
Enjoyed my recent visit to the Red Roof Inn Cottage even though it rained during the entire stay. Cottage is well appointed and very comfortable and cozy. Only 5 min. from the City of Comox and several beaches. Lots of ocean areas to take long walks. Nice electric fire place to take the chill off during the rainy evenings. Very comfortable bed and lots of room to hang your clothes. Very well stocked kitchen with lots of hot water. An xtra room to hang your coats, store your coolers and all that other stuff that takes up room in your normal living space. John and Lu are very gracious and presented a welcome package consisting of farm fresh eggs, from "The Girls", freshly made bread full of seeds and other healthy stuff, some preserves, milk and butter. You have your own private back yard with garden area, table and chairs and umbrella, as well as a BBQ. None of which I was able to use due to the RAIN. You will also have a private parking area that is closed off from the road with a big gate. Highly recommend this cottage and look forward to my next visit.

Wonderful mother-daughter getaway
Lu was very welcoming - greeted us with a warm smile and with bread hot out of the oven. The cottage is comfortable and the bed is high quality for a good night's sleep. The location is nice - close to a walking trail and stairs that lead down to the beach. Approx 10 minute drive from the airport and around 5 into town!

A wonderful vacation rental!
It is a delightful, private location close to the ocean, forests and walking trails. It is also close to downtown Comox. The owners have carefully thought of everything their guests might need. The house and kitchen were fully stocked. When we needed help to improve our wifi connection, the owners worked on our behalf to completely remedy the situation. I was impressed with their willingness and kindness to go to such great length to respond to our need.

Relax & Enjoy
This charming cottage is very comfortable, very clean, and really good value for your money. The hosts, John & Lu are extremely welcoming and Lu provided fresh baked bread, and eggs from their chickens when we arrived! The cottage was very comfortable, clean and the best-stocked kitchen we have ever had. It was nice to be on an acreage, very lovely setting, while being ideally situated in Comox Valley. The best part is you truly have your own space, a nice patio and the chance to sit outside to relax and enjoy.

Three sisters spent 4 days bonding at the cottage. Li is a wonderful host
I have bragged to my friends in Ontario about this lovely cottage. I would recommend the cottage for a pleasant stay.
