The den makes the perfect hang out spot for everyone, offering cozy seating, a full-size sleeper sofa, and a flat-screen TV. You can come to the mountains without spending time enjoying the fresh mountain air. Step outside and grill up your favorite foods. In the evenings you'll love relaxing in in the 4 person hot tub or roasting smores in the custom fire-pit area as you stare into the starry sky! This home is located 3.2 miles from App Ski Mountain, 6 miles from Mystery Hill, 3.0 miles from Tweetsie Railroad, and just 6 miles from Main Street in Blowing Rock! Don't miss out on this perfect family-friendly destination! Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night. There is one exterior security camera pointed at the entryway of this home. **Please note the 3-D tour shows a game table in the lower level den. This is no longer in the home.** Looking to stay longer during a quieter time of year? Stays of 5 or 6 nights outside of summer, fall, and holiday dates automatically receive 10% off posted rates! Pet Rent: $25+tax/night each - Max of 2 Mature, Well-Trained Dogs AWD/4WD or chains are recommended for all mountain homes in times of snow or ice. Please plan accordingly. CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 60+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 31-59 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 30 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Excellent accommodations

Our family of five (plus Lucy, the dog) really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. We found the cabin to be in excellent order, very clean and all safety features present. We enjoyed the firepit area and Lucy enjoyed being able to romp in the fenced area and the gated front porch. The mattresses were some of the best we have experienced! The location was super with a short commute to both Blowing Rock and Boone. The road up is a rather typical mountain journey, complete with a one-way, rather steep road but easily done during the summer months. The cabin is near the end of the road (and special hello to the neighbor, Joyce!). Kitchen amenities and appliances were excellent. We came to the area to celebrate a special birthday and returned home with very fond memories, among them spending time together on the front porch in the early mornings and evenings. We hope to return next summer!
