This is a small house built in the traditional Santorinial way, on the top of an old winery (“Winery house”). Although connected to the winery's court via step stone stairs, this house has an independent entrance from the pedestrian road.
In former times, this house was utilized for accommodation of the winery workers.
This “Watch-tower”is a 40 sq m Studio, with panoramic views over the Aegean Sea and the sunset from the terrace-balcony of 100 sq. m.
The main Domed chamber of the "Sunset studio" has two entrances from the terrace-veranda. En suite sizeable bathroom and small kitchen inside a tiny chamber.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo fantastico appartamento, poche settimane fa. Siamo veramente rimasti affascinati dalla bellezza dell'ambiente e dell'appartamento, che ha una grandissima terrazza con vista mare e sul famoso tramonto. Eleni, la proprietaria, è stata assolutamente disponibile in ogni occasione, permettendoci addirittura di rimanere qualche ora in più l'ultimo giorno per evitarci la scomodità di passeggiare per le strade di Santorini con la valigia, dato che avevamo il volo alle 10:30 pm. La casa è a pochi minuti a piedi da Oia, è importante tenere conto che si trova a Finikia, che è un villaggio dove i mezzi di trasporto non riescono ad arrivare, quindi per raggiungerla si fa una passeggiata in mezzo alle tipiche case greche.

Peace and relaxation with a unique view.
We have spend a week of amazing holiday in the Sunset house. I thought I have dreamed of this fantastic place... It is the best place to stay if you want to visit Oia and keep distance from the crowds and noise. We were walking often to Oia (10 minutes walk) through the beautiful narrow streets of Finikia.
Place was very clean and elegant. We were cooking nice dinners in the small (however well equipped) kitchen enjoying them in the enormous terrace in absolute privacy. And the view?? Waw!!! Wine fields and the absolute Aegean blue. The owners of the place are amazing. Gave us the best tips where to go and helped us organize our holiday. People to trust indeed!
We will return to this amazing place some day, not far from now, I hope.

Familiar atmosphere
Nice house with a big terrace. Off the beaten track but only a few minutes from the bus-stop. Beautiful view to the aegean sea and the sunset ;-)

Arrived at around midnight tired but we were met by Eleni the owner who took us to the property. Couldn't believe the fabulous views that greeted us as we opened the door the next morning. Eleni and Costas (the owners) met us later that day and gave us information on restaurants, beaches, places of interest to visit, supermarkets etc. which we found invaluable. They are a lovely couple and go out of their way to make your holiday really special. We hired a car and would certainly recommend this as we managed to see the whole island in one week. Everyone seems to go to Oia for the sunsets but Imerovigli is far prettier and has by far the best views and less crowds. This island is beautiful and can become very crowded at certain times with tourists but you can get away from it all if you wish especially if you hire a car. Best beach is Perissa, large beach, clean with excellent amenities.

Absolutely enchanting!
We stayed at this beautiful property a few weeks ago. We were absolutely amazed at the beauty of the setting and the apartment itself, which has a stunning view of the sea from the extremely large terrace. Eleni and her husband Costas were marvelous hosts in every sense of the word. A sampling of fresh fruits and typical producers waiting for us when we arrived. They were incredibly helpful with recommending places to visit, wineries to visit and restaurants to try. The property is appropriately named as it sits nearly at the highest point of the small village of Finikia. Eleni, an architect, has lovingly restored the home and has seen to every comfort you might need, including a utility kitchen, large bathroom and cozy main living area, simply yet tastefully furnished.
Light floods in from every window; yet shutters offer protection from the hot midday sun. It is attached to the lovely, larger village of Oia, about a 10 minute walk from Finikia. Yet, you are far away from the crowds who flock to Santorini during the summer months. We really had the opportunity to unwind, and enjoy the sun and meals on the terrace, which is exactly the kind of vacation we wanted. There are no cars in the village and you must park your car just outside the village a short distance away. But it's a lovely walk through the narrow streets lined wth white-washed houses and small churches to reach the main road where you leave your car. I would absolutely recommend this beautiful property to anyone at anytime of the year especially if you want privacy and time to unwind. It truly felt like our home during the week we stayed on Santorini; no hotel experience can offer that if it's the feeling of real home you're after. We thank our wonderful hosts so much for the chance to enjoy a real slice of island life and for their friendship. We look forward to returning some day!

I didn't want to leave.
This is a magical place made even more beautiful by the hosts. Eleni and Costa are a delightful, welcoming, well travelled, fun, intelligent couple who I now consider friends. This wonderful studio that Eleni refurbished sympathetically and beautifully is located in the old town of Finikia which is on the edge of Oia. I came to relax for 6 days and that's what I did. The walk to one of the nearby markets for food was seven minutes and to Oia to look in the shops, have a coffee and some delicious ice cream was maybe 15 minutes but I was tired and enjoying the stunning views, my fast pace London walking rhythm had slowed right down to a stroll. I would go early in the morning or late in the evening to miss the heat and the tourists because even though Oia is beautiful and known for its sunsets - every evening hundreds of people gather to watch the sun go down - I was one of the lucky ones who got to experience the glorious colours of the setting sun that Santorini is so famous for just by sitting on the terrace of this beautiful place after a day of reading a book or may be napping in the huge hammock, blissful. There are no cars in Finikia, I was dropped off by the taxi on the main road and met by my lovely host Eleni. Eleni is the most gracious and helpful woman, from the moment I sent my first of many emails she was to be my greatest guide and with her partner Costa they imparted to me their vast knowledge of the island, this alone is worth the price of the stay, they suggested places to go that are off the beaten track, how to avoid the tourist traps, what local wine to buy and totally took me under their wing the moment they met me and we walked the 5 minutes through the tiny white and stone streets to this lovely spot that took my breath away. So ladies if high heels are your thing then maybe this isn't the place for you and if you want night life, loud music and lots of bars then carry on looking but if you are dreaming of a unique experience, local tavernas, tranquility, gorgeous people and that little piece of magic that lingers in your mind forever then aren't you lucky, you have just found it.

Our best holiday in years away from the stress of everyday life
We enjoyed every minute of our lovely stay, from the first dawn on the big white terrace under the stars till the last evening' s spectacular sunset. The place is even more beautiful and pleasant than in the pictures. The peace and quiet of Finikia was just what we needed, still being able to walk into the more busy Oia for a drink or an icecream whenever we felt like it. Thanks to Eleni and Costas we got many good advices of where to eat, where to taste the local high quality wine and which beaches to go to. We were really sad to leave and already long to go back. Congratulations if you are to experience this special pearl on earth for the first time!

Very stylish and luxurious accomodation! Our vacation was relaxing and comfortable, the studio just perfect for a couple's getaway -clean, picturesque with stunning views and a large veranda where you can enjoy the sunset
