Luxurious Villa in Seminyak -Villa Koru
5 out of 5 stars for us. We were a group of 3 friends so we all had our own bedroom (with air-con and TV's) and ensuite bathrooms. Mia prepared lovely breakfast for us daily over our 10 day stay, and was ably helped by Budi to sort anything we needed washing etc. Michael has extensive knowledge and was super helpful in helping us organize day trips (even if we couldnt help ourselves some times)- and our driver Wayan was extremely knwoledgeable whenever we did go out. The Villa is spacious, homely, and hours were spent enjoying the pool, sun and comforts of the Villa - complete with daily massages at the Villa, and this was particularly advantageous when we had spent too long enjoying the Bali night life. 10 out of 10 would recommend - it is secure and private but close and easy to get around.

Ideal Villa for relaxing holiday
Michael is a very efficient host with prompt and helpful information during booking process.
The villa is as described and as shown in the photographs, although some of the fixtures could do with some attention, especially taps and showers in the bathrooms.
All the villa staff are very friendly and helpful, with a special mention to Putu for his driving and to Mia who works very hard to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible and keeps the villa running in all respects.
We did have a couple of problems during our stay, one was with the water supply and the other was with flooding in one of the bedrooms during heavy rain storm, but with Mia’s help they were resolved quite quickly.
We would stay here again if we visited Bali.

The BEST villa in Bali!!
I don’t even know where to start with how amazing our stay at Villa Koru was these past 8 nights.
Firstly, Michael really is a SUPER host and goes above and beyond in his communication and providing you with everything you could possibly need in the lead up to your trip. He also checks in to make sure everything is as expected with the villa and service provided, and is easily contactable for anything you need.
The villa is perfectly clean is even more beautiful in real life. The pool is huge and all rooms are nice and big. The bathrooms are so stunning and beautifully decorated, aircon works great. It feels so comfortable and the layout of perfect!
Putu, the villas driver is so lovely and picked us up from the airport to take us to villa (which is complimentary upon booking). We also were able to reach out to Putu for whenever we needed a driver and if he was not available he would organise another driver for us within a matter of minutes.
And lastly our favourite, beautiful housekeeper Mia!! Mia is an angel and made our trip so far beyond anything we had experienced before. She greeted us every morning with the most beautiful smoothie bowls with fruit, a fresh juice, eggs and toast which was cooked any which way you liked. Mia also went to the shops for us to get bacon, mushrooms etc for omelettes as per our request. She is so accommodating and makes you feel so comfortable and at home, nothing is ever too big or too small of a request, from laundry, shopping, ordering food, organising drivers, coming from home to let us in the villa when we locked ourselves out (sorry Mia!!). We are going to miss our Mia so much!!
We don’t want to ever stay anywhere other than Villa Koru again! Thank you guys for everything and we will see you soon!!

Cozy villa for a relaxing stay
We had an amazing time in this villa. It is well located and very convenient to go to restaurants, shops etc. Everything was very clean and well kept. The breakfast was delicious and there is a big variety of restaurants that you can order food from via Whatsapp if you want to stay in for dinner. The staff was very sweet and kind and I recommend this villa highly.

SENSATIONAL VILLA
We've just spent an amazing week at this outstandingly beautiful villa! Set in lovely gardens with a much larger than average pool, this is a pure gem! It is tucked away down a quiet lane, but really close to all amenities. From the moment we stepped through the gates, after being welcomed by our lovely host, Michael and his housekeeper, Mia, we fell totally in love with the place.The decor was very modern, but very traditional too and obviously very well thought out, with comfort high on the list! Which brings me to the bedroom. The bed was the largest we have ever slept in, a Super King I believe and so amazingly comfortable. We were astonished at the amount of toiletries in the bathroom, (which was great, as I had forgotten my shampoo and conditioner!) The bath was deep and freestanding and there was also a powerful separate shower, as well as everywhere being spotlesslly clean too. Our host Michael, couldn't do enough for us and nothing was too much trouble. He had such a wealth of knowledge about the local areà, which was extremely helpful. He recommended some great restaurants, from 'high end' to casual 'drop ins',for some amazing food! We were also pointed in the right direction to some superb beaches. On a couple of evenings, Michael, with the help of Mia, prepared some delicious traditional meals for us, which we sat and ate surrounded by candle lit lanterns scattered throughout the villa gardens. So relaxing and romantic! One thing is certain, we will definitely be retuening ro Villa Koru really soon. This villa, without any doubt, is the 'jewel in the crown ' of all villas!! Thanks you so much Michael and Mia for our unforgettable stay there and for making us feel so special.

In all my years traveling and staying in numerous countries for both business and pleasure, I have never had a stay like this!!!
From start to finish the service was truly outstanding, everything is taken care of. The smallest of details really make the bigger picture. We arrived late on the right and all we wanted to do was sleep and unpack in the morning. The rooms are wonderfully spacious, ultra clean and the beds... Oh dear lord the bed. Soooo comfortable!
We were greeted by Mia when we arrived and nothing was too much for this lady. I highly recommend anyone to sample their home cooking as Mia and Michael gave us a fantastic taste of Indonesia. A delicious traditional lightly spiced chicken soup for starters followed a mouth watering beef rendang. As if the food and candle lit meal wasn't enough, they had their own in house cocktail mixologist that produced some of the best cocktails we've had anywhere! Try the frozen daiquiri or their espresso martinis made with local coffee.
Nothing was ever too much for this crew and the insight we were given prior to arriving was absolutely first class! Informative e mails explaining best places to eat, beautiful places to go and right down to the small things like the best places to get money changed. Literally no stone was left unturned and by the time it came to us leaving Mia & Michael made the most special of gestures... My parents were staying at villa koru with myself and my wife and it had been 4 years since we'd all been together. When my Mother had told Mia that she was really going to miss the quiet nights with the family, the candle lit lanterns round the pool and cocktails, on us leaving my parents were given two of the lanterns to remember villa Koru and our family stay. This level of care and attention to guests is clearly the reason Villa koru has a flawless rating.
I could honestly write an essay on the place as there were so many things that impressed us on so many levels.
Myself and my wife will be in bali again in 6 weeks and we've already booked up for a second stay. Thank you so much Villa Koru you made our holiday and family reunion a absolutely magical stay!!!

ABSOLUTELY SENSATIONAL
I spent quite some time looking for the perfect accommodation for my Seminyak stay in Bali. I wanted everything perfect, villa style, location, service etc. and let me just say, all expectations I had were WELL AND TRULY exceeded by Villa Koru.
The villa itself is unbeatable, I promise you won't find a better one for value. Modern yet traditional, spotless, every amenity at your feet. The layout of the villa itself is a private sanctuary. Sun hits the entire villa all day as there are no building overshadowing it. It's in a quiet, secluded area - yet a 6 minute walk from all the hustle and bustle (the famous Bintang Supermarket etc.)
The staff (Mia the villa maid and Putu the driver) always made sure our villa was spotless. There was nothing out of place ever, not a spec of dirt, our beds were made daily and the villa was cleaned twice a day. Breakfast every morning was sensational Two-courses of a healthy fruit bowl and scrambled eggs with coffee and freshly squeezed juice. Every night we came home to a clean villa with every candle lit/ All staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible, even when we required assistance out of hours they were there for us instantly and helped to book us restaurants or sunset spots etc.
5 stars simply is not enough for Villa Koru. Will definitely be back here again in the near future. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!

Amazing villa, amazing communication & superb housekeeping
Arriving on a late flight, meeting our driver and then being greeted by our housekeeper Mia upon arrival all went very smoothly and the villa looks amazing at night with all the lights and lots of mozzie coils to make your stay very enjoyalble. Michael’s communication and tips he sends prior to arrival are amazing and he really makes extra effort to provide little extras that make your stay easy. Fresh cold drinking water is available in the villa and ice. Mia makes breakfast every day and cleans the villa beautifully and assists with any problems or extras you require - Mia, thank you so much for all the help you gave our family. Mia organised private massages in the villa for us which were amazing. The villas location is in a very quiet part of Seminyak, which is lovely at night to escape the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. We did use a lot of taxis but this was very affordable thanks to Michaels suggestion of using the Grab app - taxis were $3 no matter where we went and of course Michael can organise a driver for a while day. We travelled with our teenage children aged 15 & 16 and they both enjoyed the villa, having that extra space compared to hotel rooms was fantastic. Thanks again Michael for all your help.

Van het moment van reserveren tot het einde van het verblijf, alles was perfect geregeld. Micheal beantwoorden alle vragen, gaf tips en advies. De villa zag er mooi en schoon uit en het zwembad was geweldig. Mia en Yannick zijn 2 lieve meiden die je ontbijt verzorgen, alles schoonmaken en massages regelen, gewoon wat je vragen ook zijn... ze zorgen ervoor. Wij hadden ook Putu ( chauffeur en auto) erbij geboekt, ideaal! Kortom voor iedereen een aanrader... Villa Koru.
