This fabulous property is situated in the much sought after area of Goose Green in Gullane and is within walking distance to Gullane's famous golf courses and gorgeous sandy beaches. The accommodation is well presented and provides a bright and flexible place to relax and enjoy a coastal holiday retreat or golfing break. Gullane boasts fabulous local independent shops and restaurants which are all within a 5 minutes' walk, from Tom Kitchen’s restaurant, the Bonnie Badger, to La Potiniere, the Main Course Italian restaurant and the Old Club House pub. Bedrooms: 4 bedrooms - sleeps 8 Master bedroom with two single beds which can be moved to create a super king sized bed on request 3 twin bedrooms, each with two single beds (bedroom 4 can be arranged as a super king sized double bed on request) There is a sofa bed in the sitting room which can be used on request to sleep up to 2 additional guests. There is a charge of £50.00 for the use of the sofa bed Sitting room: The sitting room is perfect for a group of 8 with plenty of seating, TV, satellite TV (BT Sport and BT Channels) and DVD player. There is an open fire for those colder days and patio doors leading out to the private garden and decked area in front of the house Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with a hob and electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and everything else you will need for your self catering holiday. Open plan dining area There is lovely open plan dining area with a dining table to seat up to 8 guests Snug / Study/Playroom The snug/ study/playroom offers the perfect place for children or adults to enjoy some time away from the main sitting room/dining room areas! This room also has plenty of desk space should you wish to work while you are here. The opening doors leading to the private patio garden. Sun Lounge There is a small sun lounge which overlooks the private garden. Bathrooms: Ground floor shower room with a full walk in shower, WC and wash hand basin. Family bathroom on first floor with bath and hand held hose, WC and wash hand basin Utility Room There is a small utility room which houses the washing machine and tumble drier. Outside: There is a mature garden to the front of the cottage, plus a decked area leading directly off from the lounge. The property benefits from a garden to the front, laid to grass with attractive apples trees and an enclosed courtyard to the rear. There are table and chairs provided for you to enjoy the summer weather. Goose Green is directly in front of the property which is perfect for parking and walking the dogs and for the little ones there is a super play park for the children to enjoy. For the not so sunny, perfect days, you can relax in the snug conservatory with a good book and a hot cup of your choice. Suitability: This property is perfectly located for the family self catering holiday with your dog Great walks, easy location for the Gullane beach and Main Street shops. If you are a golfer this property will suit all your needs. The property is right on the doorstep of 5 international golf courses in the village and easy driving distance to any of the top 16 golf courses along the coast line and in the East Lothian area. Pet friendly You are welcome to bring 2 well behaved dogs - please note there is a small charge of £30.00 per dog per week General: Central heating, electricity, bed linen, and towels are all included in the rental. Book Now To make a booking you can book directly through this site. All you need to do is select your dates and the number of guests. The price will be calculated for you . You are required to pay a 20% deposit payment with a minimum payment of £150.00 or higher which secures the property, this payment is non refundable in the event of a cancellation. Then, 42 days prior to your arrival date the balance will be payable with a separate refundable damage deposit of £150.00 due 7 days before your arrival date. Summer Love

After nearly 15 years of driving from Edinburgh to Gullane to swim, walk, camp, and picnic, at least weekly, sometimes even daily, I booked this last year hoping for an ease in the Pandemic, perhaps my family from Australia being able to spend a Summer with us...at least a week with my children, my sister and my nephew...running bare foot, sand, sun if we were very, very lucky, like when we were kids... We were blessed. Blue skies, many swims. Sylvan Orchard - the kids wanted to live here forever. True test? My 15 year old hung his t-shirts up...house proud. We have booked for next year... Thank you

Very quirky cottage in superb location

The location of the cottage was ideal, especially if you have a dog, for the nearby Goose Green and beaches. Some very nice eateries within walking distance also. The Old Clubhouse and the Main Course being our favourites. The Scottish Flight Museum and Archerfield Walled garden well worth a visit as are all the little local villages and North Berwick itself. Obviously if you are a golfer it's 7th heaven.The cottage itself could probably do with a bit of TLC but we still had a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent centre for beaches and Edinburgh

Ideal for our family with three children, grand parents and dogs. Quiet position within easy walk of beautiful sandy beach and an outlook over large village green. Parking no problem and plenty of places to visit as well as an easy trip into Edinburgh. Rooms a bit on the dated side but no worse for that - very comfortable with plenty of room for every one. Kitchen well equipped - apart from a strange lack of frying pans! Bass Rock boat trip at this time of the year is really a must, as well as Edinburgh. Weather can be a bit variable but this is Scotland! Grand-children have asked to go back again which really says it all! Well recommended.

Great family holiday house.

Spacious well appointed house with an enclosed garden situated in a quiet residential area. Opposite the house is Goose Green and at the far end of the Green is an excellent playpark. The beach was within easy walking distance. We intend to book again for next summer.
