Let me share the positive first, we went as a group of friends - 10 adults and 3 toddlers plus a baby. Spacious, quiet and quite clean. It is located near most of the famous landmarks and eateries but not within walking distance. In Malaysia most locals drive or get a Grabtaxi which is convenient enough. There is some wear and tear which we weren't too bothered with as we are not too particular as long as the place is acceptably clean enough. My ground floor room had a partial male shoe-stained pillow which i set aside, dust in some areas and a loose shower head holder on the 2nd floor room, slight mold on the doors. We requested for a baby cot but were told none was available which was fine since my friend brought a portable cot however due to dust in the queen size bedroom, she moved to the room with 2 single beds as her baby is allergic to dust. The stay was fine as this is a rare occasion we get to be reunited with unimates from different countries/states.
Since a friend was in-charged of booking the homestay, we weren't aware that there was a damage deposit of RM200, not a big amount we agreed but the deposit was held upon check-out, and was informed that it would be refunded upon inspection which is not what was stated in Booking.com. A few hours upon leaving Malacca, my friend received a video from them claiming that we had damaged their furniture. Needless to say, some dissatisfaction went back and forth between my friend and their front desk personnel. The deposit was refunded 2 days later and an honest review about their deposit was posted to inform others to remember to do an inspection and take photos upon check-in as self-protection.
What came next was a scathing WhatsApp message that called us classless and wished for us to go extinct or stay in a jungle next time. What a way to end our otherwise memorable trip with our dear friends. I will still recommend the stay as this is not the first time my friend has booked this stay except there wasn't a damage deposit in the past. So, do take heed to do a thorough inspection yourself upon check-in to save the unpleasantries afterward.
One poorly behaved staff should not bring down the whole management of the homestay.
On another note, internet/wifi was poor and there's no Netflix.

Bad Service
We had a very bad experience from the Bliss Malacca! They even replied us with a very rude msg.
To Bliss Melaka owner, is this how you replied to your customer? As a customer, we cannot leave a bad review even if we have a very bad stay and receive bad service from your staff. Sorry to say that, If you can't accept bad reviews, please stay away from the service line. How rude and bad service you have given to us and even ask us to extinct. This is so bad!
Frankly speaking, their villa yes is big enough to cover a big group of ppl, but is not clean and their toilet are rundown with broken showers and smelly toilets!

A Blissful place to stay in Malacca!
This trip was a last minute decision and booking was done one day before our trip. We were 7 people strong and didn’t want to stay at a hotel with separated rooms. This house appeared with good reviews by previous guest as a recommended stay. However, upon closer look, these reviews were from 3 years back. Thus, there was no idea what to expect about the place since the last review from 2016. Nevertheless, we went ahead with the booking...
When we arrived, checking in was a Bliss... The lady at the reception greeted us with a nice smile. That melted the tiredness of the drive from Johor to Malacca instantaneously...
Opening the doors to the house was another Blissful experience. The sheer size and space of the house was amazingly large... not to mention the simplicity of the theme and decorations made us felt very comfortable...
All the 7 bedrooms from the second floor up to the 3rd floor were taken up by the kids very quickly... All bedrooms were clean and neatly prepared for us. Each bedroom could accommodate up to two persons, except for one on the second, which could accommodate up to 4 persons. Therefore, in total, this place is great for groups or families up to 16 persons...
The kitchen was well equipped with cups, cutleries, plates, bowls, pots, a frying pan, an 8 litres hot/warm water dispenser, microwave oven, filtered water dispenser, induction heating cooker, electric water kettle, and a medium size fridge. There were a few sachet of complementary instant coffee to add to the touch of Blissfulness...
There were ample seatings arrangements in the living for the lot of us to gather and chit-chat, which was nice. The TV in the living has been loaded with quite a fair amount of movies to keep us entertained...
We were also delighted to find fire extinguishers on each floor and insecticide provided should we require to use them. Kudos to the host for paying attention to such details...
Truly a well and professionally managed accommodation...
We would like to thanks the team for making our stay here a Bliss...

Great Location. Good for groups with cars
LOCATION
Very near to Jonker and central to tourist attractions. Quiet. Porch is sufficient to comfortably park 2 cars
ROOMS
The living room and the room with 2 beds are super spacious and conducive for group activities. Lights are also bright enough. Toilets are also nicely built but I felt the floor is a little sticky but it was clean enough. Facilities and kitchen are all good. Water pressure is Good.
SERVICE
Check-in was hassle free and fast. A list of recommended food outlets was also included - Nice!

Great Home Stay experience that we have ever experience
We came in a big group of family members includes older & kids. All of us were satisfied with the house in overall aspect such as it's location, the room size (really spacious), cleanliness (yea, its clean), mattress/bed condition (very comfy) & wifi.
Some minor issue is the water dispenser doesn't seems working well, and our phone signal lost when inside the house.
Anyway this is the best choice for those who come in as big group of people and needs many rooms.

Perfect for extended family. Superclean and comfortable in every room. Great value.
We stayed for only one night but that night was very restorative for all of us. There are 7 rooms, great beds and bedding in every room and a very well equipped kitchen.

Fantastic For Large Group
The place is very clean, spacious and comfortable. It sleeps 16 people very comfortably. We traveled there as a group of 13 people. Sufficient number of bedrooms and bathroom which will all very very clean. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and heaters for the attached bathrooms. The hall downstairs is large enough to have everyone sit around to socialize, play games, etc. You can easily park two cars in the house and one car just outside the gate. The location is very good as well. It's a 10-20min drive to any of the hotspots in Melacca e.g. Jonker street, Coconut shake, Pak Putra, Nyonya food.. etc. The kitchen has clean water for drinking and cooking utensils, plates and cups to prepare and have simple food like breakfast. The manager was very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place for families and group of friends.

Very Happy family trip!!
The house is very well maintained and is exactly as per the photos. We slept well and very comfortable. Our family feel very happy during our 2 night stay in here. The host is very nice and friendly, he also recommend nice restaurant and reserve for us. We will definitely stay in the bliss malacca again during our next visit:)
Free wifi as well just made our stay even better.

Great place!
16 of us stayed at The Bliss Malacca for 2 nights. The housebis tastefully decorated & furnished, with really comfortable beds & linens. Location wise it is really near to Jonket Walk & less than 10 mins drive to UNESCO Heritage Sites. Surrounded by famous restaurant too.
