Ivica and Radojka we’re extremely welcoming and helpful, picking us up and dropping us off at the bus station. They also gave us a detailed tour of where everything was around the apartment and recommended the best spots in town. The apartment was spacious and clean with a gorgeous balcony view and the kitchen was equipped with everything you could need to cook a meal.

Fantastic stay with the most wonderful hosts in Hvar
We stayed for 5 nights in Apartmani Bakovic.
Ivica and Radojka were incredibly hospitable. Communication before our stay was excellent. They picked us up from the port and returned us so we did not have to worry about our suitcases. Once at the apartment they sat us down with a drink and talked us through a map of the island and suggestions of what we could do. During our stay we spilled on items of clothing and they were happy to wash these for us. They really were fantastic and welcoming!
We found the apartment was perfect for our stay/ It was spacious, very clean and we loved sitting out on the balcony for our breakfast. We thought the location was wonderful - most days we would walk to Robinsons restaurant (about 25 minutes walk initially down the Cliffside path to the main beach and then a further 20 minutes through a woodland path). The beach is stunning. It is a pebble beach and really secluded compared to pokonji dol which is lovely but much busier. We were equally happy to be so close to Hvar town and walked there every evening for our meal.
Overall a brilliant stay and we can't recommend this apartment enough for a great value, comfortable and welcoming stay in Hvar. We would love to return!

Great place to stay.
We will really miss sitting on the balcony and having coffee in the morning-the view is incredible. The people were very friendly, we checked in and were given wine and cake.
The main downside is the walk up the hill to the apartment from the town.

Lovely apartment in a good location
This apartment is great, a decent size, clean, with wifi, tv and air conditioning. Its located a 10 minute walk from the town centre, close to a beach and has a local shop with fresh bread and pastries in the morning.
Ivica and his wife were very helpful, gave us plenty of advice about things to do on the island, made things very easy. He picked us up from the harbour when we arrived by catamaran, and dropped us off when we left to save us from carrying the suitcases too.

Estupendo
Estuvimos 3 días alojados en el apartamento, los anfitriones son muy amables, intentan ayudarte en todo lo relativo a la estancia en Hvar. El apartamento tiene una habitación, cocina comedor, baño y terraza. La wifi y el aire acondicionado funcionan muy bien, la cama es bastante cómoda. Si vas con coche puedes aparcar allí mismo. Para ir al centro de Hvar tienes unos 25 minutos paseando pero es un paseo muy bonito por la orilla del mar. La playa está a unos 10 minutos pero es una super cuesta por el monte, lo peor es subirla, pero la playita está muy bien con dos bares, hamacas...En resumen este apartamento es una buena opción para alojarte si vas a la preciosa isla de Hvar

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana presso questo appartamento. Spazioso, pulito, moderno. Il proprietario Ivica e la moglie sono molto cortesi e disponibili in tutto oltre a parlare un buon inglese. Ci sono venuti a prendere alla stazione degli autobus e ci hanno accompagnato. L'appartamento è a circa 15 minuti a piedi dal centro. C'è una bella spiaggia a 5 minuti ed un piccolo supermercato sempre a 5 minuti. Possibile parcheggiare con facilità. Ottimo soggiorno.

Gentilezza e pulizia
Ho soggiornato in uno di questi appartamenti con il mio fidanzato per 12 giorni e posso dire di aver fatto un'ottima scelta! I proprietari sono gentilissimi e molto disponibili; una sera, avendo saputo del compleanno del mio ragazzo, ci hanno addirittura regalato una bottiglia di spumante e qualche dolcino. Il nostro appartamento consisteva di un monolocale grazioso e nuovo, avevamo la pulizia giornaliera con cambio di asciugamani e lenzuola (ogni 3-4giorni). Il centro è raggiungibile facilmente a piedi in circa 15min. Lo consiglio vivamente, in particolare a chi, come noi, pensano di affittare un'auto per girare anche un po' l'isola; gli appartamenti infatti sono muniti di posto auto (al contrario non si può transitare per le vie del centro storico per cui si sarebbe costretti a parcheggiare in ampie aree fuori la zona pedonale anche abbastanza care!). Bella vacanza!

Great location, great hosts!
We stayed with Ivica & Radojka a few days ago and we were not disappointed!
Apartmani Bakovic is really great value for money.
Ivica and Radojka are generous, warm and welcoming. On the first night they brought us into the family home and gave us beer and homemade wine and provided us with all the information we needed about local beaches, restaurants, boat trips etc. The apartment is about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach and about 15-20 minutes to Hvar town. Ivica both picked us up and dropped us to the ferry which was great!
The apartment itself is very modern, clean and comfortable with tv, wifi, air conditioning, kitchen equipment etc.
We would definitely recommend to friends!

Beautiful apartments, perfect location and very welcoming hospitality
Two of us stayed in Apartmani Bakovic - and must say from the booking through to leaving, we were shown the warmest of hospitality. The apartments have everything you need and are spotless; the location is very good, being just a stone throw away from one of the best beaches on the island, and only a short walk down to the harbour/square. There is also a supermarket close by. The view from apartment balcony are fabulous and the island has amazing crystal clear water (great fun snorkelling). You can hire boats and explore near islands at your own leisure with a rental from 9am - 7pm. Ivica and Radojka will advise on where/what you can do and help if you ask - nothing is too much trouble for them. Ivica picked us up from Split, and on arrival at the apartment we were invite to share with the couple some tea and pancakes, which was such a lovely gesture and welcome after travelling from UK. Ivica help to ensure we made the ferry to airport and informed us on buying tickets in advance etc. Thank you Ivica and Radojka for your hospitality, we would definitely return.
