Nika House is located in the Thar Desert. You're going down a dirt road and all of a sudden a small village with four huts appear. The owner, Ratan, greets you with a great smile. Your accommodation is located in a hut with a bed. The huts can accommodate several people in one. Bathroom available (Western and Indian). You have dinner at a campfire and drink delicious chia. Ratan is able to arrange camel safaris, jeep safaris, and village life. He is also able to arrange a visit to see Rajasthani culture dance. Ratan was definitely a great host and worth the visit and experience.

Nika house gives you such an amazing experience and best memories worthfull to remember for your whole life. I've unexpectedly reached at this destination and I've never had a regret for that. Those nights under trillion stars and those sunsets from the destination soothes my mind. It's located in a calm and quiet area where you will be at the peak of peace. I went there on some people advice. Nika house is in the desert (30 min from Jaisalmer with motorbike), it's close to a little village so not hard to find but you don't see or hear the village when you are there. The place is really beautiful. Just few huts and a fire place in the middle of the desert. The huts are perfect: space in it, perfect temperature inside, and very pretty also! Don't expect big comfort like in fancy hotels: you have actually everything you need and not more, which is perfect. You can see a beautiful sunset and spectacular sky with a lot of stars at night. Ratan welcomed us like friends. He cooked a delicious meal on the fire for us then we spent the hours talking and laughing around the fire. He's simple, open minded, and honest. I think he really deserve the success he has with this place ! If you want to find peace, this place is for you. It's really worth it!

Amazing stay in the heart of the desert. Very peaceful and Ratan is a wonderful host, this place is a true gem outside Jaisalmer.
