Great location with excellent views overlooking the harbour. Plenty of space for our party of nine. It is a little way out of town but there is a regular bus service from 2 minutes down the road and taxis are very reasonable. Although we often chose to walk down and back, the steps would be challenging for those not as fit. The owners kindly allowed us early access on our first day and were always on hand for any questions we had.

Die Wohnung liegt im 1. OG und ist sehr großzügig und gut ausgestattet. Der Blick vom Balkon ist einfach traumhaft und die Lage ruhiger als im Trubel der Altstadt. Mit dem Bus (200 m) erreicht man diese in etwa 15 Min. Antonija organisierte den Shuttle vom Flughafen, welchen ich nur empfehlen kann. Mario ist sehr freundlich und gibt Tipps zu Ausflügen, Restaurants sowie Umgebung. Marija ist die gute Seele des Hauses und bewohnt das Erdgeschoß, ich habe selten solch herzliche und liebevolle Vermieter kennen gelernt. Es war ein rundherum gelungener Aufenthalt

Accommodation just as it is portrayed in the website images. We were wonderfully looked after by the family owners/managers of the property, who live downstairs. An excellent balance of inside and outside accommodation, with air conditioning when we needed it. We made use of the lovely barbecue a few times. In terms of size, it was spacious for us - five adults and three children. Could accommodate more. Great views from the balcony which we enjoyed every night, usually with very enjoyable Croatian beer and/or wine. A steady 10 minute walk to a good supermarket, next to the active marina (a taxi or bus back, given the 200+ steps!). Just one bus to the old city that runs on time, twice an hour. What a beautiful city it is! We would definitely recommend booking this property and will use it again should we return to Dubrovnik.

A lovely apartment, perfect for our family holiday. Quiet, with a fantastic view, my favourite parts of the day were sitting on the balcony first thing in the morning, and last thing at night watching the boats go in and out! Although it is slightly out of town it is only a short bus journey into town for restaurants, or to get to the beaches. The bus service is fantastic, day tickets are the best option as they last 24 hours, and under 7s travel free. The owners were lovely, extremely helpful and even rescued us when my son stood on a sea urchin! Top hosts!

Villa is well maintened & clean .2minwalk to bus stop bus No3 that takes you straight to the old town in approx 15 mins .we were well looked after with us organising With Antonija our transfers which went very smoothly & reasonably priced .We were able to check in early which was a bonus once at Villla we got to meet the friendly family & were treated to coffee & water & all the local information that would be helpful for us during our stay . They were always on call for us if we needed anything highly recomend this villa for any number of people over 6 but room for 10

Io e altri 6 miei amici abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana nella villa. Abbiamo trovato la casa molto ampia e con tutto il necessario, anche per cucinare. La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile. È importante a chi soggiornerà in questa casa sapere che sarà necessario usare l'autobus, che funzionano anche molto bene, per spostarsi e raggiungere spiagge o punti d'interesse. Soggiorno gradevole e la casa è l ideale specialmente per un gruppo di giovani ragazzi

We're just back from an 8 night stay at Villa BUTIGAN, as a family of 5 (myself & my husband, two kids ages 15 & 11 and my mother). What an absolutely brilliant holiday it was, too. The Villa is perfect and in the best location, in my opinion. The rooms are all spacious and comfortable, the air-conditioning a god send (it never dropped below 28 during the nights we were there!), the terrace and views are incredible and provide the perfect place for relaxing afternoons/evenings, sitting with a bottle of wine, watching the boats go about the harbour! Maria was a wonderful host - so warm and friendly, even gifting us with things like home-made strudel (delicious) or fresh figs when we saw her in the mornings! Always on hand and asking if everything was ok but also giving complete privacy during our stay - thank you so much, Maria! The Villa is a 30 second walk to the bus stop, which provides a great half-hourly service to all the main stops, with the Old Town being the last stop. It is a flat rate of 15 Kuna per person with kids under 12 being free. There was so much to do in the area that I could've stayed another week but I will review each attraction separately. The Konzum Supermarket is a 5 minute drive and we found everything we needed to stock the Villa during our stay. We enjoyed walking (down the very steep hill!) to the Port area of Gruz in the evenings, where we enjoyed nice meals, and from there, it was very easy to get the no 3 bus back to the Villa, which is the last stop on the route. All in all, a fantastic family holiday location in a beautiful apartment with the most accommodating, lovely family as our hosts. Would definitely recommend and hope to return one day! x

The villa is fantastic, all essientials are given and the people (who live downstairs) are very very helpful. The villa is quite far from old town Dubrovnik so it is about 40minutes walk but up very steep hills. It was excellent for us though

Great view over the new port where we spent many hours relaxing and watching the activity in the port. A No. 3 bus at the end of the road took us straight to the Old Town in about 20 mins to half an hour, depending on the traffic. Mario, from the villa collected us fat the airport and gave us an interesting commentary on the way from the airport and lots of information when we arrived at the villa where we were welcomed by Maria. Lovely people and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. The villa itself was beautifully clean and spacious with fabulous views from the covered terrace. The rooms were a very good size and having the 3 bathrooms was a major bonus.. Nice kitchen, reasonably well equipped. From the villa we could walk down to the supermarket and main bus terminal but there were quite a few steps to come back up. We usually caught the bus or the occasional cab. We would not hesitate in recommending Villia Butigan to anybody staying in Dubrovnik.
