Siamo stati 10 giorni ospiti da Tonci e Paulina: sono davvero degli host gentili ed ospitali. La casa è piccola ma ha tutto quello che serve per passare una vacanza rilassante: a noi piaceva stare a chiacchierare nella veranda sotto l’ulivo. Dalla casa sono raggiungibili sia i sentieri per fare del trekking sia la zona mare. Una nota: la casa si raggiunge salendo un po’ di scalini...questo permette di avere una splendida vista sull’isola.

I have travelled all over the world and there has been lots of breath taking places, but the view from Apartment Andrea was amazing, you just sit there staring at the beautiful view, no dogs barking, no cars or motorbikes just crickets, the walk around the bay really pleasant, the people were so friendly, your possessions safe. The hosts Tonci and Paulina were inspirational Tonic had good english and told you of lots of things to do, what time the ferries are, you can visit the other islands and over to Dubrovnik, but none were as tranquil relaxing as Kolocep, I highly recommend if you need to get away then go it was like a time warp all the hussle and bussle gone and you go at your own pace one of my best

If you are looking for a little slice of heaven, this is it! Kolocep is stunningly beautiful with beautiful walks through pine forests and olive groves. Look out for the signposts though, they are not very accurate. The apartment is quaint and lovely and Tonci and Paulina are a delightful couple; very welcoming and hospitable. There are some steep steps to the apartment but anywhere on Kolocep is uphill unless you stay nr the harbour. We loved the views from the terrace and as others have said, it's a beautiful place to watch the sun rise or set. We will definitely be back. Thank you Tonci and Paulina we loved it. X

Tonci and his wife Paulina are probably the nicest people in Croatia. The apartment was spotless and very handy for the local area. Everything needed was very close by and the view across the bay from the apartment was beautiful. The kids enjoyed their stay especially the ice lollies they recieved from our generous hosts...

We (a young couple) stayed at this apartment for one week. It was a really relaxing and calm holiday. Our host Tonci was very helpful and answered our questions always fast and kind via mail before we arrived. He picked us up from the airport and took us back there on our departure date. The apartment and the island were beautiful. Everything we needed was provided in the apartment. The view from the terrace was amazing and there were quite a lot of walking tracks on the island to explore. The tracks lead to the neighboring town, old churches, lonely forests and pretty bays. Sometimes they were not well signposted, but nevertheless exploring the island was very funny. The sandy beach in Donje Čelo is a bit small but only three minutes away. The beach is divided into a public area and an area especially for hotel guests. Most of the time, we were the only people on the public part of the beach. On the island, there is only a small shop (open seven days a week) where you can buy bread and other stuff, but it is a bit more expensive and has less products than the big supermarkets in Dubrovnik. The city is pretty easy to reach by ferry. The ferry to Dubrovnik costs about 3 Euro and also goes to two other islands (Lopud and Šipan). Especially the old town of Dubrovnik is worth a visit! We really loved being there and Tonci and Paulina were very friendly. Tonci told us a lot of interesting stuff about the area and he invited us to eat as much apricots from their own tree in the garden as we could. This was definitely one of our best holidays and we would like to come back as soon as possible.

Paulina and Tonic were the best hosts! Thank you both very much for letting us stay in your great apartment, the Andrea! The place was gorgeous and tranquil. The two of you made us feel very welcome and we were happy to spend time with you. The apartment is in a great location and is decorated very comfortably. The terrace is simply stunning and peaceful. We loved our stay and can't wait to return

Well my partner and I are just back from the most amazing 11 nights holiday.... Tonci picked us up at the airport, took us shopping and then to the Ferry which he joined us on to then take us to his Apartment, that bit says it all really, what a great and stress free start to our well earned holiday..... Tonci and Paulina were fantastic and couldn't do enough to help us, took a wrong adaptor to charge my phone etc, but no problem for Tonci, he was away the next day to Dubrovnik to find an adaptor for me, he succeeded which explains that nothing is too much bother for him... The location of the Apartment was fantastic with great views over the harbour. Loved sitting out the front in the morning reading our books after breakfast.... Ferry service was always spot on time and just a short walk.... Loved the restaurant at the other side of the island, great mussels on the menu.... Can't wait to go back as found the whole area around the island was so gorgeous and peaceful, just what we were looking for.... Felt when we got back that we had been away for a month and so relaxed.... See you next year!!! Thank you both for a great holiday..... Frances & Kevin. Xx

We had a wonderful 5 days with Tonci & Paulina who were the perfect hosts. Tonci was so helpful and happy to answer all our questions about walking & kayaking around the island. Kolocep has the feel of the old-school riviera, very relaxed and unpretentious, a real find! From the pine forests to the azure sea we couldn't have wished for more. My only complaint is that 5 days is definitely not long enough! Thankyou Tonci & Paulina, we will be back...

Before we arrived the owner, Tonci, was very helpful by email, arranging to meet us from the ferry and advising us on what we would need to bring, (the village shop only stocks the absolute basics). On the day he escorted us to the apartment where we met his lovely wife Paulina and shared a welcome drink with lots of laughs to settle us in. The apartment is in fact a pretty stone built one storey one room (plus bathroom) cottage with everything you could need including a generous terrace shaded by vines and a narrower sunny terrace overlooking the bay. The apartment is pretty inside too, nicely furnished, with a large double bed which was very comfy and everything was very clean and tidy. We'd definitely come and stay here again, we fell in love with the island as even though it is small there are lots of places to discover. The fact that there are no cars makes it wonderfully peaceful, although a few tourist boats drop visitors off a few times a day. We were here around the end of the season though so i guess it may get much busier in July and August. We'd recommend donning walking shoes and circumnavigating the island - some incredible views on the west side. The footpath map can be a bit misleading though - take care, we missed a small turning and ended up walking up and down a steep hill several times in the heat before we finally spotted it - although it is not marked on the map as a turnoff! (This is on the round island walk just past the house where the fire 'engine' is kept, by the way!) The hotel in the main bay feels a bit dominant when you first arrive but actually as it's an all inclusive the guests seem to stay round the pool or on their stretch of beach and don't eat in the village restaurants so you don't notice. All in all a wonderful place to stay on a gorgeous island - so near to Dubrovnik yet you feel a world away. And thanks to Tonci and Paulina too for making us so very welcome.

Our stay with Tonci was perfect! He and his wife were very welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. The island of Kolocep is gorgeous and relaxing. The apartment is perfect for 2-4 people and has a lovely view of the island. Our stay here couldn't have been better and we loved it! We hope to return in the future!
