We were lucky to find Apartment Bete on AirBnB. We came by car from Korcula. Silva's husband was kind enough to come and fetch us from our driver's agency, even though it was further from the gates of the Old Town. He helped us move our luggage to the apartment and even briefed us on the highlights of the Old Town and City Walls along the way. The apartment is long the alley next to the promenade and fountain, easily accessible, no need to climb dozens of steps in Dubrovnik (this is important, especially if you've a lot of luggages). It's in an excellent location, next to the promenade and Onofrio's fountain. The only downside is that the entrance of the building is guarded by a big wooden door and it's difficult to open it but luckily the neighbours in the same building always came to our assistance when we were unable to open the door from the outside :) The apartment is clean and neat, comes with the dining area, sofa to chill and a small kitchen area equipped with cups and sink for coffee and tea. The decor is simple and quaint, we like it a lot. Bathroom's clean but you'll need to wait a while for the heater to heat up before you can take your bath. The only downside is that we stayed in Dubrovnik for 3-4 days and they only offered 2 rolls of toilet paper, cannot add more even if we request. So we had to go to the supermarket and buy more. Other than that, everything's great.

We stayed here for 2 nights middle of September 2014, we were met by Silva the owner just outside the city walls and escorted in to the old town which sent shivers up my spine as it is so beautiful, she pointed out key places as we went ,in excellent English, the apartment is exactly as described ,very clean very quaint and truly lovely , just off the Main Street (stradum) just opposite the clock tower of the church so easy to find. We loved the old city everything very easy to reach on foot, walked the walls, visited the palaces, synagogue, and museums. We would recommend this to any couple who want to be in the heart of it with no climbing as some accommodation is difficult to reach especially with suitcases!

I had the most enjoyable time staying at Artemida Apartment Bete. It is exactly to a "T" as it is described on their website. Prime location, beautifully furnished, super clean and the hostess Silva was more then helpful providing me with a load of useful tips where to go, what to do, etc...and the price is just right. From my point of view and rather broad traveling experience, I'd say you get much more that you would expect from a private accommodation and such a great price.

We were so captivated by the beauty of Dubrovnik that we decided at the last minute to stay an extra day and needed to find accommodation for 5 people. I contacted Silva and got a quick reply. We were able to leave our bags early and came back in the afternoon to settle in. The place was perfect for us. Towels, linen etc. But the location!!!!!! I wish we had stayed the whole time. This was the most central of our stays in Dubrovnik, and for one of our group who hated stairs, this would have been ideal. I would definitely stay here if returning to Dubrovnik.

Providing steps are not a problem, an ideal location in the heart of the old town. Quaint, clean and comfortable and ideal for a travelling couple. Owner very helpful and efficient, and offers assistance with transport to and from airport, which is only 30 minutes' drive away.

It is just like the photo and better. You can not get a better location, right in the midle of everything. Apartment was very, very clean, with a fresh smell of some flowers. My girlfriend loved it. It is very comfortable, beds are very good and the furniture is gorgeous. Owners are funny and kind.

Stayed in this unique apartment with my girlfriend for a New Year holiday and it was just perfect. Location is five stars, it is spacious, clean and well decorated. Has a new bathroom and a small but well equiped kitchen. The price was reasonable. Owners are friendly and helpful. They recomended other places to see, places to eat and things to do so this turned into the best holiday so far. Thank you guys, we will be back!

We were recommended this accomodation by a friend of ours because they really had a great time there.I must say that it has excedeed our expectations.Everything was as it should be.We were met by the driver right after landing and taken to the apartment strait away.The apartment was on a perfect location,spotless and well equipped.The owners were very professional and helpful.Everything said really added a big plus to an amazing holiday in Dubrovnik and when we come back, I will not hesitate to book the same place again.

My girlfriend and I spent a weekend in this amazing city and stayed in the most perfect apartment. It was perfectly located in the center of the Old city, just few steps from the main street. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, wi-fi, sat-tv, kitchen and bright bathroom. It was better than we could imagine and just as advertised if not better. Even thoe it was so central it was very quiet. The hosts were there if you needed them and gave a lovely welcome with all the info to ensure we do not miss out on something in Dubrovnik, tips on restaurants, concerts... All in all it was a lovely holiday and we can not wait to go back.

I came to Dubrovnik with my partner to finally experience what everybody is always saying about this magnificent city. We were met at the airport by our hosts driver, taken to the apartment and checked in without any hustle. Apartment was just like the photo, lovely and with all we needed, excelent location, right on the main street and quiet at night. Hosts are very friendly and live next door. Gave us all the information we needed to make this a perfect stay.
