My daughter and I stayed four nights and were delighted with this beautiful little gem. It was right in the centre of the Diocletian Palace area. The apartment had attention to detail, with some lovely design touches. The owner greeted us and we found him very helpful. There is a Spar supermarket literally round the corner. It was quiet at night. You could not go wrong with a stay here.

Beautiful Split
We stayed in room Archie
for part of our honeymoon travelling around Croatia. Split is a vibrant place full of life. Lots to see and explore and great restaurants. Room Archie was the perfect home from home, right in the centre but in one of the little side streets, it was a perfect location. Due to it being in a central location we thought it may be a little noisy at night time, however this was not the case. The apartment is beautifully decorated, super clean and a proper home from home, it really is tastefully done to a very high standard. The owner and his daughter are fabulous and always happy to answer any questions you may have, they are also very accommodating in terms of check out times and leaving luggage. I couldn't recommend Room Archie any more, it was fabulous.

Excellent stay
Stayed in room archie for 7 days. Location was ideal, in the centre of the old town and about 15minutes walk from the beach.
All mod cons, including Air con, wireless phone charger and smart tv.
Very welcoming host who greeted us at the bus station to help us find the room. Nothing was too much trouble and were only a phone call away if required. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Upon your arrival, apartment was cleaned up. We clean and maintain our apartment regularly and we do care about our guest, cleanliness and quality of our service. During check in time, we specifically told you if you if you have any questions, requests, or complaints you can contact us in any time and we will respond immediately. Obviously from your comment you weren't satisfied with our service, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that you had to endure during your stay.

Optimal location!
Room Archie is situated in the very heart of Split, in the old Diocletian Palace. You won't find a better location in Split. It is also very close to the main bus station and ferry dock.
We enjoyed our stay of one night in Room Archie. The apartment served all our needs and the bed was the best bed we slept in during our trip as it was large and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The apartment was quite spacious for it being such an old house, except for the bathroom which is on the small side, but very clean and with a good shower.
The owner was kind to us, responding promptly to our e-mails prior to our arrival, helping us to find bus schedules and when he heard that we needed to take the airport shuttle the day upon our arrival he printed a timetable for us.
Summarized, this is a very good place to stay for a couple of days in Split.

Comfortable accommodation in great location
The apartment is in a fabulous location in the old town, close to everything. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Approximately 20 minutes walk to Batvice beach, 15 minutes walk to the Ferry terminal/airport bus. The apartment was spacious with a separate sitting area. A bar fridge is available. The owner was very accommodating and let us leave our bags in her apartment until check in time. My only criticism is that the apartment was difficult to locate at first. The address provided is a watch shop. To get to the apartment you need to pass the watch shop, turn down an alley way and then go up a flight of stairs. To prevent confusion these instructions should be provided when booking. We would stay here again.

The room was very clean and tidy and the host very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return back :) Very pleased

Das Apartment war sauber, der Gastgeber sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp und man sich nicht nur im Apartment aufhält vollkommen ausreichend. Der Eingang ist etwas schwierig zu finden, da ein anderes Apartment-Schild (Vanessa) genau da angebracht wurde, wo Archie's vermutet wird. Einfach die schmale Gasse rechts durch gehen und ein Blick nach li. oben, da ist es schon. Wer selber kochen möchte ist hier fehl am Platz. Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank und etwas Besteck müssen ausreichen. Da es zentral liegt, fehlt es einem an nichts. Die Nächte waren auch ruhig, da sich das Apartment in einer Seitengasse befindet.Zum Hafen sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Im Ganzen gut weiter zu empfehlen.

Nous y retournerons la prochaine fois. Nous avions réservé différents appartement en Croatie, celui ci est de loin le meilleur.

Ottima scelta, la camera è situata a pochi passi dalla piazza principale di Spalato e dotata di tutti i conforts: aria condizionata, wi-fi, televisione.
Camera silenziosa, finestre perfettamente oscurate per chi ha il sonno leggero, letto comodo, asciugacapelli in dotazione in bagno. Frigo, bollitore e tea e nescafè a disposizione per la colazione.
Il proprietario è gentilissimo e sempre a disposizione visto che abita al piano superiore.
Una precisazione: l'indirizzo è zadarska 3, ma quando si arriva lì davanti si vede non un portone ma un passaggio voltato. Bisogna percorrerlo e si arriva in una stradina, voltatevi a sinistra e vedrete delle scale, alla porta è attaccato il cartello "Room Archie". La camera è appena al di là della porta.
Alle volte a Spalato si affittano camere senza il regolare permesso, per le quali non ci sono i regolari cartelli blu a segnalarle, né si chiedono i documenti all'arrivo. Invece questa camera è più che in regola, fuori c'è il cartello e il gentilissimo sig. Petar chiede i documenti per registrare i clienti.
La consiglio, ci tornerei.
