I have just returned from 4 nights in Split with my husband & son and we stayed in Neven's lovely 3rd floor apartment.
The location was perfect for us. It was a 10 minute walk from the bus station so getting from the airport was easy, 5 minutes from The Riva, and just round the corner from the Diocletian's Palace area with all its bars, shops and restaurants. The apartment looks down on the popular Chops restaurant and bar so the area is busy at night. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony after we'd been out to eat, soaking up the vibrant atmosphere. There is no problem with noise because the restaurant and bar closed at midnight and also the apartment has excellent sound proofed windows.
The apartment was beautifully furnished with excellent air conditioning in the bedroom and the lounge area. The bed and sofa bed were both very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. The kitchen was very well fitted out with cooker, fridge and dishwasher, and it was handy having a washing machine with a drying area on the balcony. The little extras, such as bath robes, shampoo, soap, washing powder, some fresh fruit and beer and sparkling wine in the fridge, were what really makes this apartment stand out.
And I mustn't forget to mention Neven. As others have said he was really helpful during the booking process, and on our arrival he gave us some great tips on where to eat and shop. It was also reassuring to know he was just next door if we had any problems (which we didn't).
If we return to Split we would definitely stay at this apartment and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of luxury at a very affordable price.
