We spent 4 days here with Oly. Wonderfull host and very cozy place. Old town is walkable distance. Little hiking on way back, but taxi is cheap if tired you are. All facilities on ground. Friendly and knowledge host. Definitely recommended.

We, a family of four, stayed two nights. The place is extraordinary. Although we experienced snowfall and minus degrees there (the host had warned us before), we fondly remembered our stay. The campground is small with basic infrastructure (don't expect glamour and luxury, but you have everything you need). It offers a breathtaking view of the city (a 20min downhill hike away) and has a great and highly supportive host. I recommend spending some time in his house to have a chat.

As you can see how the owner replies to bad reviews can also guess what kind of person and experience can be. Very arrogant, rude and aggressive, sexually inappropriate comment to my girlfriend. I would not recommend staying there.

We (couple) stayed at Oliver’s place for a couple of days. Both camping and using one of his rooms on the final day. First, it is the closest camping to the city centre. 25 min down the hill. 35 min up. A taxi brings you back for 4 euro if you do not feel like walking up the hill. Second, Oliver is a special kind of guy. Really thoughtful, slow paced and down right kind. I think everybody would enjoy staying here. The camping is small, but facilities are plenty. We were lucky he still had some place left. Would recommend this place!

Les emplacements sont vraiment étroits, ce qui ne laisse même pas la place de mettre une table et des chaises quand le camping est plein. Le propriétaire n'hésite pas à tasser ses hôtes comme des sardines; c'est bien dommage, car il est vrai que l'établissement est bien situé, à la fois au calme mais bien relié au centre ville. Les sanitaires des campeurs sont rudimentaires (pas d'eau chaude, sorte de petites cabanes en bois eg taule) mais offrent une belle vue sur la ville. Pour aitant, il reste possible d'utiliser les toilettes de la maison ce qui est appréciable. L'accueil n'est pas très souriant ni chaleureux, le terrain n'est pas très soigné (crottes de chien au milieu des toiles et fourgons).

Top place with great character on 20 min scenic walk distance to Old Town. We asked the taxi to take a detour and give us a mini guide tour on the way back for the cost of 7 €, directly to camp is half of that. There is a canal for self service of the vehicle. Charismatic and helpful owner. Definitely coming back when crossing Bosnia next time. Recommend it for travellers and overlanders.

Camping bien situado, a escasos metros del centro historico de Sarajevo. En un principio veniamos para 3 noches pero en 2 noches nos fuimos. El camping no esta diseñado para tiendas de campaña, el propietario coloca a todo el mundo unos encima de otros, haciendose imposible el sacar tus sillas y mesas. Acogida por parte del propietario mas bien fria. Al ser un camping pequeño, es bastante sencillo tener contacto con los otros campistas y hacer reinar el buen royo. Una pena que el espacio sea tan reducido.

Loved every minute of our stay at Olywood on top of Sarajevo. Super host and great, relaxed feel to it all, which rubbed off on newcomers to the camp instantly. Great way to acces the town by walking back and forth, even if a taxi Will do it in minutes;) We’ll be back!

So we stayed at Oliver’s for a couple of nights while we were in Sarajevo and we loved it. The guest house is in an amazing location, up on a lush green hill overviewing the city, just a short 7 min taxi drive to the latin bridge. It has a few tidy rooms and a garden to camp in but the really amazing thing is the warm and relaxed feeling it has about it. With its large communal table there is always a place to chat and meet new people and Oliver is able to make everybody feel at home. We’ll surely go back next time we are in Sarajevo.
