First thing to say is what a lovely host Tom is ! Despite arriving in the middle of the night and as promised, he was waiting to show us around the accommodation, pointing everything out that we may need Secondly, the accommodation is beautiful, furnished and decorated to a high standard with everything you might need. It is very centrally located with a short walk to many of the attractions. This being the case however, there was no outside noise from the New Year revellers. Budapest was very cold but getting back to the apartment was cosy and inviting. The only tiny negative is the stairs to the apartment but as it is located in a protected building meaning that a lift could not be put in. Doesn’t distract from its charm though

Positives- Tom the owner was a great communicator before the holiday and organised taxi transfers which were competively priced and very reliable. The accommodation is very well situated and we were able to walk to most attractions if you are not a great walker the public transport nearby is excellent. The apartment has everything you will need close by. The apartment was clean and well equipped. Very comfortable beds. We went together as two couples and each couple had their own toilet/shower facilities.Tom welcomed us to the apartment and explained the lay out of Budapest and places to visit/eat etc. Negatives- We had selected the apartment as it was described as quite and I am a poor sleeper under normal circumstances it would have been quite but a large building facing the apartment is being restored and the building works started at 7.30 every morning and continued to around 4.30 in the afternoon. This work looks like it is a fairly long term project. In some ways apart from the very early start it was not too bad as the weather was excellent while we were there and we were out a lot but if we had to stay in the apartment it was really noisy. Also the air conditioning is not great and being on the top floor of the building the rooms get very warm when the weather is good. The stairways that go up to the rooms have a strong smell of gas and I found this unnerving but Tom assured me they were checked regularly by the gas officials

Budapest è una città storica ricca di monumenti e attrazioni che meritano di essere viste tutte. La viabilità è ottima ma con qualche mancanza di parcheggio ( noi avevamo auto a noleggio) ma le temperature esterne non ci hanno fatto rimpiangere la scelta anche se i mezzi pubblici sono efficienti.la gente è cordiale ed onesta e lasicurezza percepita per strada è buona. Oltre ai classici musei e monumenti consiglio vivamente una seduta termale, che, specie se fatta in pieno inverno è suggestiva è rigenerante. Unica nota negativa è il fatto di non poter usare ovunque gli euri in cash!

Budapest has great public transportation. Tom's place is just a couple blocks away from the buses one way, the metro another way, the Danube another way. And just one block from this fabulous walking street. A PERFECT location to start any day. If there is one complaint, it was I saw no reference to the 91 steps to get up to the apartment. For most people that would not be a problem, but for some, this could be a problem. The other thing I'd like to mention, is that the landlord Tom, had a family emergency where he had to leave and he went above and beyond to make sure transportation's were handled, we were greeted by a friend, and stayed in touch frequently by checking in. I wish we had been able to meet him.

Very central, excellently appointed apartment. Tomas was extremely helpful - organising airport transfers and forwarding us his app for suggestions about where to eat in Budapest.

We had the chance to stay in this great 2 bedroom apartment which was fabulously located in Budapest. We walked pretty much everywhere and had an amazing selection of local food restaurants. The owner, Tomas, was great and very helpful - upon our arrival and on departure. The apartment is impeccable and well decorated and clean. No complaints. I would stay there again and highly recommend it. It is not recommended for those who have mobility issues as there are stairs to climb to the apartment; this worked out great for us as it allowed us to enjoy our wine and food even more guilt free.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect apartment for our break. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped, very comfortable and quiet. It is just off a main shopping street with a great selection of shops, restaurants and cafes. It is also only 5 minutes walk to the river and all the other tourist attractions are easily walkable from it. Tom, the owner, was very helpful and provided us with a map of all the best places in the area, from things to see and do, to the best places to eat and drink. If we return to the city in the future we would definitely stay here again.

This apartment is perfect in every way, interior, location, host. The apartment is exactly how it looks in the pictures with everything you could possibly need. A lot of stairs but it helped work off all the carbs we ate all weekend ha and not to mention extremely secure. Tom is the perfect host arranging a taxi to collect us at our arrival and departure. He explained where all the best spots were to eat and drink and get the best views. He was the perfect host. Everything is within walking distance although the metro is nearby too. I can't recommend here enough. We hope to be back in the summer months at some stage!

If you go to Budapest, go to this Flat. It's luxury, has everything you need and more. Location is the best you can have in Budapest to do everything by walk, and the most important thing of all... Tom is the best Host We've met so far during all our experience. He waited for us, he explained everything, took a long time to mark everything we needed not only regarding the flat, but also related to everything we should do in Budapest, he even shared a google map with all the places he recommended. Don't even think about it, that's the place where you should be if you're thinking on knowing Budapest.

We spent four nights in this apartment in Budapest and were very happy with it. Tomas is an excellent host and will assist you with finding parking, great restaurant recommendations and other insider tips for Budapest. He also will help you with your bags as the apartment is on the third floor with no elevator. The location right off Vaci Utca and could not be better; it is a pedestrian-only zone so no worrying about cars flying past you when you step out the front door. A supermarket is only about 300 yards away past the McDonalds to stock-up on any snacks and drinks. The flat has two bedrooms with large beds and two full bathrooms which is nice. The kitchen is small but functional. Not a lot of storage space for clothes, but pack light as there is a washer/dryer and you can recycle your outfits. Metro stop is just up the street for getting all over Budapest. We also did the hop on/hop off bus and a pick-up drop off point was just down the pedestrian zone about 400 yards away. Tons of restaurants and shops in this area but get out and see the rest of Budapest too. Night cruise on the river and trip to the thermal bath were highlights for us.
