Situated in the heart of the Old Town, the apartments are right on the river bank and ideal for all the tourist attractions, bars & restaurants. We lucked in with Apartment 3 - spacious & adequately furnished, it was exceptionally clean and overlooked the river. The shower was always hot, the kitchen & lounge areas satisfying our needs. The apartments also had complementary use of washing, drying & detergent located on the top floor. Well managed, Kollmann provides great value for money. I'll post some of the views & nearby photographs.

Une chambre propre, des lits moelleux, bien cllimatisée, une bouilloire pour préparer du thé ou capuccino. L'hotel est situé le long de la Ljubljana, la vieille ville est pleine du charme de son passé Austro-Hongrois. En Aout elle est très animée heureusement la clim permet de garder les fenetres fermées. Le parking payant se trouve à 700m, ce n'est pas trop pénible avec les bagages et malgré la chaleur. Le quartier étant piéton il est impossible d'approcher en voiture. A noter qu'au 4e étage une machine à laver, de la lessive et un sèche linge sont disponibles gratuitement. L'accueil est très aimable.

We recently stayed for a few days in the wonderful city of Ljubljana and based ourselves in Kollmann apartments, apartment number 1. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of accommodation. The whole experience was a positive one. The reception staff are friendly and helpful and speak fluent English. There was a receptionist present when we arrived who handed over our room key and took us to the apartment, offering to carry our suitcases, which is on the very top floor of the building. The apartment consists of a kitchen and living room area and a bathroom on one floor, then a bedroom on an upstairs mezzanine. The kitchen has two electric hobs and a microwave oven for cooking, although no oven. There is a refrigerator and an assortment of clean and well-kept crockery and cutlery. The whole apartment is scrupulously clean, modern and well-maintained, with no hint of the scrappiness and wear-and-tear that can sometimes be found in high-turnover rental properties. Every corner was clean and every amenity modern and functional. The room has its own wireless router, meaning the wireless internet signal is strong. Although the internet speed is not particularly stunning (you won't be streaming HD movies easily) it's perfectly fine for everyday use such as reading the news, sending emails, watching the odd YouTube video etc. The apartment is located in an absolutely perfect location, right in the heart of Ljubljana, meaning that you walk out of the door and straight into the fun and beauty that the city has to offer. There is a certain amount of city noise if you keep the windows open but, as central Ljubljana is pedestrianised, this means the sound of musicians playing and people chatting, not traffic noise. With the windows closed, this didn't keep us awake at all. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment. The only exception is that the apartment is not suited to the disabled or elderly who struggle with stairs, as access to the apartment requires climbing several flights of stairs. Since the building is a listed property, they are not allowed to add a lift. For those with no mobility issues, though, this is a great place to stay.

We were in apartment #1 on the top floor. The apartment is very spacious and very bright. It is on two floors. The lower level has one large room that is living room/dining room/kitchen and there is a spacious bathroom with large shower and quality soap, shampoo, etc. The 2nd floor has a waterbed, which was comfortable. The couch opens to a bed and that was also comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful and arranged to carry our luggage up and down the four flights when we checked in and out and were helpful with restaurant recommendations. There is a shared washer & dryer in the hallway. Location is great. I knew the apartment was up 4 floors when I booked it. Even though the pictures are very clear for some reason I didn't realize/remmber that the bedroom was up another flight of steps from the living room and this was kind of a circular staircase (so not the best to walk down & up in the middle of the night if you have to use the bathroom). My husband ended up sleeping on the pullout couch (the staff quickly brought us extra bedding) while I slept in the bedroom. So, be aware and decide for yourself. The windows were all pull down skylights and I could not reach them ... short people renting without someone taller might have an issue getting windows opened and closed.

Nel cuore della città vecchia di Lubiana per la sosta di una notte abbiamo sperimentato questa soluzione con risultati decisamente positivi. Molto cortese la ragazza che ci ha accolto. La struttura è senza ascensore quindi se si hanno bagagli ... è scomodo ed inoltre, trovandosi all'interno dell'isola pedonale, è impossibile da raggiungere in macchina. wi fi gratuito.

Stayed in room 1 which was very charming. There was a washer and dryer right outside the front door. It's very high up, but they're happy to carry your bags for you. It's also very quiet up there despite being next to a hostel. The room is very spacious and AC was great. The bathroom and shower was also very pleasant. I had no problems with my stay. And I can thank Nija especially at the front desk for making my stay even nicer. She's very professional and friendly. Ask her for food recommendation!

A great place, with tasteful decor and plenty of space. It feels like a home for your time in Slovenia's capital. Plenty of facilities and amazingly central.

Lovely flat, great location, helpful staff. I really enjoyed staying here, and using a very comfortable bed.

Das Apartment (bzw. die Apartments) ist super zentral gelegen und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Die Ausstattung ist hochwertig und sehr geschmackvoll. Der Service war unkompliziert und absolut zuverlässig. Einzig kriritscher Aspekt für alte bzw. gehbehinderte Menschen ist die Erreichbarkeit, da das Apartment im 4. Stock ohne Aufzug liegt. Wir werden in jedem Fall wieder kommen!
