Cosy appartment in a beautiful place near the lake of Bled. The landscapes we saw from the widows were beautiful and peaceful. The landowners are very nice and helpful. The national parc is a good place for hicking and It is possible to swin in the lake. We have planned to come back to Slovenia in a few years to visit this beautiful country.

Cómodo,limpio y acogedor
El apartamento se encuentra situado en un precioso y tranquilo pueblo a pocos minutos de Bled, el entorno es maravilloso, parece sacado de un cuento. Los dueños lo tienen muy limpio y aunque es pequeñito tienes de todo lo necesario para pasar unos días. Si necesitas servicio de lavandería también te lo ofrecen pagándolo aparte. En la misma callecita tienen zona de aparcamiento aunque para salir mejor que dar la vuelta os recomiendo salir por la otra calle para no maniobrar ya que es algo empinada y estrecha. Boza y su mujer son unos anfitriones muy amables y te resolverán cualquier duda antes de llegar al apartamento. Esperamos volver pronto pues la estancia nos ha parecido corta para tantas preciosidades que visitar por la zona.

Top notch
Everything you want in a rental from ease of booking, extremely helpful and friendly hosts, cleanliness and a great location near Bled but in a quiet village. This is a wonderful choice!

Nice apartment in little village
We stayed at the nice apartment No. 2 of the Torkar House with our 2 teenage kids.
It is large enough for up to 6 people, so even getting temporary house guests was no problem. Boza and Borut are really nice people, that gave us a very warm welcome. They were never short of good advice to any enquiry we had.
Borut even took us on a small tour through Pokljuka and introduced us to the excellent Zaska.
Highly recommended!

Great little Cottage close to Bled
What a fantastic find for a family of 5. This apartment is a 3 minute drive to Bled and is located in a cute little town near some cliffs with great climbing. The apartment was a great value compared to staying in Bled and we were able to cook our own breakfast and dinner and eat on the great little deck covered in grape vines.
The owners are helpful and fun. We solidified our reservation over email and I wired them a small deposit to hold the apartment and paid the rest upon arrival.
Hassle free transaction with a clean and fully stocked bungalow at our disposal. Will definitely book with them again next year.

Great place in cute town just outside Lake Bled
Our family of five stayed in "apartment 1" and had a wonderful stay. Hosts Borut and Boza were eager to make sure we had a pleasant stay. They had the family over for drinks and goodies one evening and were happy to give suggestions on places to go in the area. They also welcomed our dogs, which was great for us since we brought them along this time.
The small town is very quaint with a stunning setting under cliffs which you can climb up for a view. It is just a short drive to Lake Bled but very quiet.
There is a lot to see and do in the area - especially if you like hiking/wandering. There are many beautiful areas within an hour of Lake Bled, most are closer to a half hour.
The apartment was very clean and the eating area outside was very nice. The kitchen is quite small but well equipped (but no stove, only cooktop) and we cooked three dinners there for the family as well as breakfasts.
We would recommend this apartment and would like to return if we come back to the wonderful country of Slovenia.

Nice location, spacious apartment in cozy cottage
We traveled with our family, two adults, tow small kids, and two small dogs. The layout was very nice, a covered wooden balcony to be outside and plenty of space inside the apartment. The location is also nice, a few minutes from Bled, on the way to Bohonj lake. The apartment is in a cute village of cottages. Borut and Boza were very welcoming hosts - really enjoyed our stay.

Ai piedi delle Alpi e sulle rive di un lago.
Devo innanzitutto ringraziare i proprietari degli appartamenti per la gentilissima ospitalità usata nei nostri confronti. La disponibilità è stata eccellente così come la profusione di consigli utili a rendere la nostra vacanza memorabile. Abbiamo soggiornato negli appartamenti Torkar ( sono 2 appartamenti ) nell'estate 2011 e poi 2012. Il primo anno eravamo mia moglie ed io, il secondo anno, visto i racconti e le descrizioni da noi fatte, con figli e fidanzate. Gli appartamenti non sono grandi per metratura ma ottimamente divisi, e permettono relax e riposo. Le finiture caratteristiche in legno non mancano e ti fanno sentire veramente in ambiente alpino. L'appartamento del piano terra offre inoltre una discreta veranda in legno, dove si può comodamente pranzare, mentre quello del primo piano ha una stupenda loggetta coperta che si affaccia sulle case del paese, Bojiniska Bela, e la vallata. Gli appartamenti sono strategicamente collocati per poter visitare tutto il parco alpino prospicente e ricco di prelibatezze storiche, naturali ed artistiche. Insomma, una vacanza di sogno. Poi, per tutto quello di cui avete bisogno.....chiedete a Boza o a Borut.

Travelled with 4 adults.We found the appartment a little small.There were 2 bedrooms, one rather small where there were enough space for a double bed and a small sideboard.
My 32 year old daughter slept in a bunk bed in the lounge.
The kitchen was very small.There were 2 rings on the hob. No oven, dishwasher or washing machine. We ate in the kitchen as the weather was poor and we could barely moved as I explained that there were 5 adults in the group.
The owner was quite friendly and thoughtful but a little mean with the heating.
I also felt the flat was a bit dark because it was below the road in the kitchen.The view was poor as it was overlooking other houses in the bedrooms and lounge.You needed the light on in the kitchen even in the morning.

We apologise for your experience, that there was not enough space for your family. We have adult size bunk beds in the living room due to making accomodation friendly for families with more children. Living room can be upon request turned into large bedroom, with a bunk bed for two children and couches converted into two seperate beds. The kitchen becomes rather small, when the apartment is fully occupied. We however had no other complaints due to kitchen size, also when there were 6 people. The kitchen is standardly equiped for 3 star accomodation, which you will find at other apartments. We suggest you inquire with the owner ahead of your arrival to check for above 3 star standard equipment. The microwave has however an option tu use as an owen when needed. In 3 star apartment there is no requirement for a dishwasher or a standard family house oven. This year we had exceptionally rainy weather not seen for the last 20 years or more. We are aware of the kitchen not having enough light and unfortunately cannot make more natural light for the time being. This is one of the old village houses, unfortunately the kitchen has only one window, on the side that doesn't capture the sun due to cliffs and hills. The apartment is in a village, on a hill, so two sides of the apartment have a view on the neighbouring village houses. Other two sides however view the nearby mountains and you can also see some parts of nearby neigbouring houses. We have sometimes problem with the water supply as some guests use more warm water than we can provide, despite having solar heating, wooden furnace and large tanks for water. We recall the incident and deeply apologize for the lack of warm water, both apartments were full and the water consumption was more than we could handle. We again apologize for you experience, especially for the weather, unusual for this time of the year.

Great confortable appartment
We had a great time in the appartment of Family Tokar. We were very well welcomed. The appartment is very well furnished and equipped with a lovely balcony. Perfect location for climbers (less han 100m to the next climbing spot), hikers, bike ridders... also close to Lubjana if you want to spend one day here. Very beautiful area.
