Splendida casa bifamiliare in posizione tranquilla con giardino con vista sulla campagna e sul mare. Molto silenzioso, ideale x una vacanza rilassante. A 5 min in auto da frikes e a due passi dalla piazza del paese dove ci sono taverne e minimarket. La proprietaria è molto gentile e disponibile. Ci si sente come a casa!

The cottage had everything we needed and had been restored with beautiful quality and style. It was in a fantastic location with the most stunning view. We shared the large outside space with the family staying in the cottage next door, but this wasn’t a problem. It’s located on the edge of a quaint village which is close enough to walk to. The village has everything you would need- a few cafes/restaurants and a few shops including a grocers. The best part of the stay was being to close to Poli beach, which was great.

Abbiamo passato una bellissima vacanza di 9 giorni a taca alle ville di Melanie. Eravamo 2 famiglie , io e mio cognato. Le case in pietra sono comode, in quella più grande c'è anche un soppalco con 4 letti.. Molto bello l'ampio giardino esterno con vista mare . Ottima la posizione delle case, in collina, a 5 minuti dalla spiaggia di Polis. Nelle case c'è una cucina fornita di stoviglie, frigo, forno, e altro. Ci sono anche le zanzariere all finestre un solo bagno. Presente il wi-fi e la tv. Bello e ben fatto anche il barbecue fuori . Negli sgabuzzini esterni c' è tutto il necessario per la pulizia della casa. Le 2 ville sono una soluzione ideale per 2 famiglie di parenti o amici. La proprietaria , Melanie, è una signora giovane e disponibile. I rapporti sono stati buoni. Onestamente, l'unica cosa che ci ha un pò disturbati è che ha fatto visitare le case a altre persone mentre noi eravamo dentro con tutte le nostre cose. Comunque un'esperienza positiva

Beautifully designed modern accomodation located in Starvros village, Ithaka. Everything you need is provided for and is ideally suited for up to two families with kids. A great BBQ and outdoor area for evening get togethers. Located close to the main area of Stavros with lots of cafe and eateries or a short drive to Frikes for some excellent seafood. The host Melanie was very helpful and I would highly recommend this accomodation and looking forward to staying there again.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriètaire qui est très serviable. Sa maison est juste magnifique avec une vue incroyable à 360 °. Le logement est également très bien situé proche des commerces et restaurants. Parfait !

Absolutely loved staying at Melanie's Villa in Stavros! Sitting out on the verandah every evening watching the sunset over the hills was pure bliss. Villa is very well equipped with everything you need, including homemade olive oil...that was divine! In a great location, it's nice and quiet but still close to Stavros. It is close to the next door villa but we had 2 lovely families staying next to us at different times and it definitely didn't impact our stay. Only thing was it would have been nice to have an air conditioner in the loft, but we were there in a heatwave and once that passed it was fine without it. Definitely recommend getting a beauty treatment from Melanie (on the property), I had a massage, mani and pedi....all fantastic! Highly recommend staying here, you definitely won't regret it! The whole island was wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. Thanks Melanie for making our stay a pleasant one.

Lovely accommodation for a family, nestled on a hill top, and within walking distance to the charming village of Stavros Melanie is a great host who explained all of the sights and beaches in the area to us. Our children loved the grass and the hammock which hung from the beautiful olive trees. The accommodation was one of two duplexes and facilities such as garden and BBQ are shared, however this was not an issue for us. Furnished simply and adequately with a well equipped kitchen and clothes washing facilities.

Itaca è un posto incantevole, tranquillo e fa sognare pensando a Odisseo. Di lui nessuna traccia ma Itaca sta nel cuore. L'appartamento in cui abbiamo soggiornato è perfetto. Molto accogliente e ben tenuto. Si raggiungono vari posti dell'isola facilmente. Stavros non è turistico ma permette di immergersi nella vita di Itaca.

The four of us an spent an idyllic week in the larger villa. The villa was comfortable, clean and spacious - more than adequate for our needs. The location is great. The verandah has lovely views over Stavros towards the sea and is set in a very peaceful position just outside the village - it's an easy walk. Melanie and her husband were great hosts and made everything very easy for us. We had no idea what Stavros and the surrounding area was like before before we booked and within a day or so we realised we couldn't have picked a better place to spend the week. The area has great restaurants, stunning secluded beaches and is great for hiking too. There was a couple with a baby staying in the villa next door, however, this wasn't a problem as there was plenty of privacy (it did help that our neighbours were absolutely charming!). God willing, will definitely return some day!

our family and my brothers family rented these two lovely villas for just over a week in August. Ithaca is a small but v beautiful island, well worth the treck to get there! The villas are located within walking distance of the small village of Stavros, which literally has all the amenities you require ( from bakeries to banks!) that you require for your stay. The local beach is also very nice and has sun loungers, umbrellas, kayaks and paddleboards for hire, as well as a little refreshment kiosk. There are also many unorganised and secluded beaches within a few minutes drive. The water is amazing, calm blue and clear. Melanie, our host, was great, and made herself available at all times with anything we needed. She also runs a small beauty boutique next to her house and my niece and I both enjoyed one of her treatments!
