Fantastic house in a great location. Very close to the beach,restaurants etc. Carmen was a brilliant host. She gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit and was really helpful. Our first visit to this wonderful island will be remembered forever

очень уютная вилла, атмосфера потрясающая, все удобства для превосходного отдыха на берегу моря, всего несколько шагов от пляжа и центра городка. Кармен была очень любезна) она нам подсказала самые лучшие места которые стоит посетить с красивыми видами, также где можно очень вкусно поесть в приятной атмосфере на берегу моря , отведав вкуснейшую местную кухню. Это был незабываемый прекрасный отдых! С полной уверенностью советую всем!

We stayed at the Mermaid's Villa for 1 week during August 2016 and found it to be the perfect location to access Letojanni beach which is literally a few metres from the villa and very convenient for popping back to the peaceful, enclosed courtyard garden for lunch! Carmen, the owner, met us on arrival and spent a great deal of time telling us about the local area and places of interest to visit - she couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The two upstairs bedrooms had their own ensuite bathrooms, which was great and there was an extra bathroom downstairs which was useful when our third son came to stay and slept on the downstairs sofa bed. There were plenty of sunbeds to relax on in the courtyard, but it did get rather hot, however a short run down to the beach to cool off was easy enough. The kitchen was well-equipped, but we ate out in the many seaside restaurants most evenings. We had a hire car, although it's not essential as the beach is on the doorstep and Taormina a cab ride away. I'd highly recommend this villa as a great base for exploring the east coast of Sicily or simply just enjoying time on the local beach. Thank you, Carmen, for making us so welcome.

As promised, the Mermaid house is amazing for family holidays, quiet and close to the beach or restaurants to enjoy Letojani Just rent a car to reach it and enjoy sicilia. Car park is easy, and Taormina only 15' away.

Bellissimo weekend passato alla villa delle sirene, non manca nulla. Sicuramente un esperienza da rifare. La padrona di casa disponibile e molto gentile. Complimenti per tutto. Siamo rimasti molto contenti.

It’s really villa at 50 meters from the coast of the Ionian Sea in the most beautiful place in Sicily! The villa is located in a very quiet place to have relax and stay in silence . The villa has everything we need, very clean. Honer was very kind and have given all information what we need. Every evening walks in Taormina, because it is really close and the journey takes just 10 minutes.

The description and photos of the Mermaid House ticked all the boxes and the reality is just as lovely. We couldn't believe how close we were to one of the quietest beaches in the area! Another added bonus is that the sun beds provided in the courtyard are light enough for any able bodied adult to carry them down to the beach, saving you the typical 4 Euro a day tourist tax on rental. The house itself is stunning and spacious, ideal for our 4 adults but we could also see how it'd be easy enough to accommodate another two. It's a blend of typical Mediterranean and well thought out design, whoever decorated it obviously has an eye for these things. There's loads of storage space (often one of my whinges about holiday lets), everything is there that you'd expect in terms of facilities and the air conditioning and other electricals all work very well.The house was very clean when we arrived and Carmen was the perfect hostess, coming to find us when we got lost, making sure we knew where all the best places to go were etc. We found Letojanni to be a brilliant location for us as we were close enough to Taormina and other famous locations (Isola Bella, Etna etc.) - just a short drive away - but we also got the benefit of a lovely local village atmosphere with enough restaurants, cafes and shops to keep us amused on more lazy days when we didn't want to drive. Prices were a lot more reasonable in the local area than in more commercial tourist resorts, our shopping was coming up at a comparable price for Lidl or similar in the UK and the quality was really good. Overall a really fantastic holiday and one that we'd all be happy to repeat tomorrow (didn't want to leave at all!)
