heerlijke omgeving en warm welkom na een lange reis
Guiliana en Mauro tonen zich echte gastheren na een lange reis door Duitsland en Zwitserland in hun schone en comfortabele B&B. De kamers zijn schoon, ruim en praktisch. Heerlijk ontspannen op het terras en onder de bomen, uitkijkend over de grote tuin en panorama. Het ontbijt is bijzonder omdat Guiliana alles zelf bakt en klaarmaakt. Heerlijk! Een goede prijs & kwaliteit verhouding en een warm welkom in het prima Engels dat beiden spreken. Een echte aanrader!

Fantastisch!
Je wordt echt verwend door de eigenaren. Een heerlijk ontbijt met onder andere versgebakken brood, cake, fruit, kazen, eigen gemaakte jam, maar vooral prettig was de gastvrijheid en de tijd die genomen werd om tips te geven over de omgeving. We hebben er 3 nachten geslapen en elke dag iets ondernomen: een bootje gehuurd om te varen op het Comomeer, een dagwandeling en een bezoek aan een villa. Het huis is wat hoger op de berg gelegen. Je kunt via een korte wandeling (5-8 min) de bus nemen die je naar de verschillende plaatsen brengt. Een busticket kost €1,70 en is 90 minuten geldig. Je koopt je ticket in een winkeltje ( koffiecorner) naast het bushokje. ( kan ook in de bus, maar dat is duurder). Wij hebben alles met de bus gedaan.

Very nice B&B with wonderful owners
We only stayed here for one night as a stopover to Tuscany. The owners (Mauro and Giuliana) are so kind, they make you feel very welcome. It’s situated on a hill with a view over the valley, only a few minutes walking from a restaurant. We arrived early and the room wasn’t ready yet so Giuliana advised us to visit the lake at Cernobbio. A nice place to start your holiday! When we came back everything was ready. The room is very spacious and clean with a good bed and large bathroom. The garden is a nice place to stay and relax. The breakfast was delicious, all types of bread, fruit and drinks to choose from. The most of it even homemade! We were totally relaxed when we set of for the last few hours of our journey. Definitely a place to recommend and start your holiday with a very nice stopover. Staying more than one day would also be nice!

Bed, breakfast and whole lot more ..
We stayed at this beautiful property with our friends (another couple) and occupied 2 of the 4 available rooms. We were situated in an upper level and even though there were other guests at the inn, we never saw them or heard them. Both of our rooms were spotlessly clean, large with really comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The inn is situated high on a hill so there are amazing views which can be enjoyed from the gorgeous garden area. The innkeepers - Giuliana and Mauro .. and their 3 sweet little girls - put a lot of heart and energy into meeting the needs of their guests but without being intrusive in any way. We typically don't book B&B's because we don't like being under the owner's watchful eye -- but these innkeepers have managed to create a perfect balance of being available when needed while giving every guest their privacy. We found their recommendations to be invaluable as they are native to the area and point out all of the gems. The breakfast served is lovely and delicious in a cozy dining room. We were able to walk into town for dinner and it was a comfortable stroll even though it was hilly. There is parking available for guests. I think it's good to keep in mind that the streets throughout this area are winding and narrow with 2-way traffic coming at you from blind curves. Coming from the U.S., we don't typically encounter roads such as these and found it to be a little bit of a challenge. There signs to Il Giardino are positioned along the road but, at the time of this writing, there was no sign at the last turn. The owners are in the process of having the town place a sign there but everything takes time. So .. when you come to the fork in the road, stay to your left and Il Giardino Botanico will be on the left side. There are 2 garage spaces and a small parking lot past the house. The Lake Como area is wonderful -- and Il Giardino Botanico is a fantastic choice for a comfortable stay and well-located for enjoying all the area has to offer.

OTTIMA LOCATION, GENTILISSIMI LORO :-)
Se cercate un posto tranquillo, con un bel terrazzo verde affacciato sulla vallata, gestito da una famiglia di persone gentilissime e molto disponibili, questo è il giusto posto per voi! Posizione comoda, a tre km. dal lago e a 5 in auto da Como, il Giardino merita! Soggiorno piacevole, ci tornerò!

Nous avons passé trois nuits dans ce B&B avant de poursuivre notre voyage par une halte de quelques jours à Venise puis par un séjour dans les Dolomites. Nous étions 4 adultes dont une personne devant se déplacer avec des béquilles.
Nous avons occupé 2 belles chambres- dont l'une est d'ailleurs subdivisée en une chambre avec un grand lit et une autre avec 2 lits simples, ce qui peut la rendre très pratique, par exemple, pour des amis ou pour un couple avec des enfants.
Nous avons profité de notre escale pour nous promener autour du Lac de Come et du Lac de Lugano. L' implantation de cet hébergement le rend pratique pour explorer la région et facile d'accès depuis les grands axes routiers.
La maison est bien propre, les lits sont confortables, le jardin et la terrasse sont très agréables et le petit déjeuner est copieux et tout simplement délicieux...mais ce que nous retiendrons par dessus tout, c'est l'extrême gentillesse et la grande disponibilité de nos hôtes qui ont vraiment été aux petits soins avec nous... De tout cœur merci ! C'est avec grand plaisir que nous retournerions faire un séjour dans cet endroit décidément charmant!!!

Hier gibt es liebevolle Aufnahme in eine wundervolle Familie, dazu ein tolles Frühstück (das ist allerdings 5-Sterne fähig!) und geduldige Tipps für den nächsten Ausflugstag oder Hilfestellung bei der Tischreservierung für den Abend.
2 Tipps für Restaurants in der Nähe (Vorbestellung ist immer empfehlenswert!):
Della Torres - (u.a. grandioser Oktopussalat auch für die zu empfehlen, die so etwas überhaupt nicht mögen!, leckere Pizza und mit Fleisch kann man auch umgehen! Klassische italienische Küche.)
L'Asinaccio - ganz anders als Della Torres - modern, jung, auch einmal experimentell - egal ob Antipasti oder Pizza oder Dolci... ( diese Dolci!!!....) alles probieren!!

Very special B&B
We stayed here 3 days in May this year and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Most comfortable bed of our vacation and wonderful shower. Spotlessly clean throughout. Awesome and filling breakfasts. Mauro and Giuliana very cordial and did all they could to make us comfortable. Highly recommend.

ottima location in zona Lago di Como
abbiamo dormito in questo B&B sulle alture sopra Cernobbio nella nostra strada verso la Svizzera e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Casa antica molto bella, giardino molto curato dove viene servita un'ottima e abbondante colazione (decisamente sopra la media degli standard italiani). Camera ampia, spaziosa e confortevole, arredi nuovi e immacolati. E soprattutto grande spirito di accoglienza e tante attenzioni da parte della coppia di gestori. Bravi! peccato essersi fermati per una notte sola... Ottimo sia come tappa verso la Svizzera che per soggiorni più lunghi in zona Lago di Como (Cernobbio e Como sono a due passi)
