Firstly, all credit to Paolo and Tania, the owners. They were quick to respond to emails and helpful with any queries we had. They met us at the apartment and showed us round and made sure we knew how to use the washing machine, dishwasher etc. Even provided us a welcoming bottle of wine! We stayed from 13 to 20 October, which is after the main season. Many of the apartments nearby are owned by Italians living near Lucca or Pisa and this is where they have their holiday home. This particular apartment is regularly used by the owners and as such has a very homely feel. It is nicely decorated and plenty of crockery, bedding towels etc (all included in the price - not additional costs as many other places had) it is in a quiet residential area next to the pine woods. It is only a short walk to shops and restaurants and to the beach. At this time of year many of the private beaches were closed for the season however there were plenty of areas to access the beach for free, and we were able to walk the length of the beach from near our apartment right down to the main harbour area. Viareggio is a beautiful city, with a calm classy feel. There are lots of activities available in the pine woods in the summer, so these were now closed. We still had plenty to do though. Definitely recommend.

This rental is great. Paolo was very quick to reply to my emails and gave very detailed information about the Casetta. Paolo also offered to pick us up from the train station, which was very much appreciated. Paolo and Tania then clearly explained everything about the apartment before they left us to enjoy their home. Viareggio was a base for us to visit Cinque de Terre, Pisa, Lucca and Florence. The bus 25 stops a block away to get to the train station and the 26 bus will get you back. There is a supermarket within walking distance and several nice restaurants also. On our last day I had problems calling a taxi so I called Paolo and he then called one for me, this is the small type of detail that makes a good holiday memorable. Die hübsche und gepflegte Wohnung grenzt an den Pinienwald und ist daher ruhig und angenehm gelegen. Mit ihrer Infrastruktur (Waschmaschine, Abwaschmaschine, Fernseher) ist sie tipp topp ausgestattet. Geschätzt haben wir auch den sicheren Parkplatz im Innenhof. Tanja und Paolo sind zudem für das Wohl ihrer Gäste besorgt und äusserst herzlich und sympathisch. Nochmals ganz herzlichen Dank für alles!

The appartement is located in a quiet part of Viareggio. It is furnished very nicely and has a great view on the Pine woods. It has everything you need (dishwasher, washing machine). It was very clean. Paolo and his mother in law gave us a very warm welcome with a good overview on the appartement and Viareggio (supermarkets, restaurants...).

We spent a very beautifule time in the area of viareggio. The Flat was very clean and contfortable . It has every think you want like cooking,bathroom, bed confortable, Privat Parking, not far from sea,, ... I will come back

Just returned from a great 9 night holiday staying at the lovely casetta We were met by Paolo at the airport who drove us to the caseta after showing us the local area. The casetta was spacious and comfortable in a quiet residential area, 10 minute stroll to the lovely Ferenze beach where we enjoyed free sunbeds and changing facilities. We were also given the use of cycles for pleasant rides through the beautiful wooded park area. We were made very welcome by Tania and Paolo who even organised a taxi for our return journey. All in all an excellent holiday

The location of the apartment across from a park was lovely and inviting. What stood out for us was the wonderful suggestions we received from the owners. We used the apartment as a base to get to well-known spots like Cinque Terre, Lucca and Pisa, but what we truly loved was our visits to places we never would have discovered on our own such as Pietrasanta and Vinci. The 2 bedroom apartment while small was adequate for the 3 of us and would work for 4 as well. It was clean and neat. The owners were very kind and helpful from our first correspondence to our leaving. It is reasonably priced.

Abbiamo soggiornato per cinque giorni con una bambina di tre mesi e non abbiamo riscontrato alcuna difficoltà. L'appartamento è ben tenuto, accogliente, situato in posizione tranquilla e vicina a Lido di Camaiore, al lungo mare di Viareggio e alla pineta. Massimo relax grazie alla tranquillità della zona e alla vista sulla pineta ... e al wifi ;) I proprietari forniscono ogni genere di informazione e sono estremamente gentili e corretti. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

For ten days we stayed with three persons in this lovely apartment. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the owners (Tania and Paolo) who made sure, that we had everything we need for our stay. The two-bedroom-apartment is located in a quiet part of Northern Viareggio and offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday (incl. dishwasher and washing-machine). The beach can be reached in a 5-minute-walk and nearby is a bus-station, for a bus-line that takes you to the town-center and the train-station. If you come by car, there is even an extra parking-space in the yard. During our stay we really felt like being at home away from home and we surely can recommend this apartment to everyone who is looking for a nice place to stay in Viareggio!

My wife and I spent a week in this delightful apartment. It is very well furnished and equipped. My wife was especially impressed with the bedding. Everything we needed was provided. The apartment is very close to Lido di Camaiore and we found all the shops, restaurants and other facilities we needed just over the river. We did not have a car but were able to walk to the beach and to restaurants/shops easily. There are bus services nearby to get you to the station, town centre etc. We made friends with the staff at Firenze beach and spent part of everyday there. We can confirm all of the comments about Tania and Paolo in the other reviews.
