This villa is magical. I don't know how I was lucky enough to get to stay for a week. The villa is beautifully decorated, very well appointed and extremely comfortable. The view is unbelievable. It doesn't even seem real. Easily the best view on the Amalfi coast. Yes, there are steps, but that affords you a ton of privacy and a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of Positano and Amalfi. From the terrace there are no neighbors in sight. It is a short walk to a lovey restaurant and a well stocked grocery store. I understand there is also a grocery store that will deliver. The hostess was extremely kind and easy to communicate with. She speaks perfect English and was very attentive to our needs. She had porters ready to carry our luggage upon arrival and departure, which was very helpful. They arrived promptly and were very professional. We rented both the villa and the cottage and loved having all the space and the additional terrace. I simply can't say enough good things. When you have a host that is so helpful and attentive it makes it so much easier to relax on vacation. Julietta is a total star.

Aspettatevi una villa spaziosa, confortevole, tenuta con grande attenzione - vi sentirete a casa da subito. La posizione è semplicemente splendida, i gradini fanno parte dell'esperienza un po in tutta la costiera. Il punto d'incontro è stato facile da trovare e c'erano due facchini che ci aspettavano per aiutarci con i bagagli. Eravamo con la nostra auto e Julietta ci ha fornito un garage privato recintato a cui abbiamo avuto accesso ogni volta che volevamo.

Perfect! Our entire stay at Villa Poesia could not be any more perfect! Julietta and her entire family took care of us from start to finish. There were potrers to help with the bags, a stocked kitchen,the most amazing views in all of Praiano, and her son even arranged our private boat tour of Capri for us. We did not know before we arrived, but we know now that we were staying in all of the best villa in Amalfi Coast!

We rented this 2br\2bath condo for two weeks. Very well furnished. Spacious. Wonderful host--Julia. Great outdoor seating, relaxing areas. Beautiful views of the Mediterranean. Excellent inside in every way. BUT, you are 180 steps from the closest alley or road. Therefore, EVERY time you wish to go to the grocery, get a bus or taxi, get to your car, eat at a restaurant, you must go down 180 steps, plus often walk 1\2 mile on a road with a 16% incline, and the do the same thing UP to get back to the unit. It really limits how often you leave. Also, we were bombarded by flies every time we sat on the patio, no matter what time of day. It really is a great unit, IF you can deal with the steps and flies.
