This villa has excellent location, was sparkling clean, had a friendly host, and a very important parking space. Overall... we would like to return in the future, for sure

Large house with breathtaking view
The villa is in a great location within walking distance of both Praiano and Positano. Also, the bus stop is 10 meters from the house. Bus can be unpredictable so we preferred to do the 45 minute walk to Positano. We fit two small cars in the garage but with the narrow, crowded roads we preferred walking when we went anywhere nearby. Praiano is closer with a 30 minute walk. We comfortably fit 7 adults in this villa. The villa has 3 full bathrooms and a half bathroom upstairs. There is plenty of living space. The managers of the villa were very helpful and accommodating. I was able to order groceries which were there for our arrival. All the food and beverages were so delicious. Also, each bedroom gave a fantastic view of the water.
Our favorite restaurant in Positano, La Taverna Del Leone, was just down the road from the villa and offered a shuttle service. We highly recommend the chef's tasting menu! There is also a seafood restaurant Da Adolfo down the private staircase on the back of the villa. There is a small beach at the bottom of these stairs but it is a long way down with about 400 stairs. Much easier going down than the hike up but worth the trek with a beautiful landscape.
A few of the excursions we enjoyed:
-Gianni's boat tour to Capri which we were able to be picked up at the Positano pier
-Pompeii with a winery tour after (used a driver which the managers coordinated)
-Gastronomic Trekking Italian cooking class in Praiano
Overall, we had a wonderful vacation staying here. I will surely miss waking up to the breathtaking views!

Paradise Found!
Our stay here was everything I imagined and more!
My husband and I , along with our two adult children and their spouses, spent ten wonderful days at this beautiful villa, to celebrate my husband’s 60th Birthday.
The Villa setting and views were spectacular , with water views from every room.
In addition to the 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths, there were two living rooms, and four patios!
Guido, Nunzio, and Roberto helped set up everything for us before we arrived!
The kitchen was stocked with groceries from a list we sent them. Lunch and dinner reservations were booked , along with our excursions. I can’t tell you what a pleasure it was to have all of this taken care of before we arrived!!
Definitely to do: Have you groceries delivered ! There are many steps up and down from the Villa, and not too many grocery stores nearby. We did not rent a car. We frequently walked to town or the beach, usually took the bus home or into Amalfi, and a few times we took a taxi. The bus stop is only 30 feet to the right of front gate of the Villa.
Not to miss Excursions:
Pompeii followed by the Cantina Del Vesuvius winery, Boat excursion along the Almalfi Coast to Capri with skipper Giancarlo, and Gastronomic Trekking Hike and Cooking school with Giacommo.
Places to eat : Chez Black (at the Positano waterfront) , La Taverna Del Leone ( Michelin rated, we were treated like VIPs . They will pick you up and drive you home) DaAdolpho ( at the bottom of the stairs from the villa. Nice casual atmosphere, great food .We ate there 3 times), anywhere that has gelato.
This is the place to stay, If you want your dreams of staying in Positano fulfilled

Outstanding villa on the Amalfi Coast!
We stayed at the Villa Valeria in May of 2017.
Our party of 5 included 4 adults and a 3 year old.
The villa is even better in person than in the pictures.
There is a huge amount of space over multi levels.
The rental manager is very helpful and informative.
There is parking for your rent a car. (two if small)
The bus stop is just outside the gate.
There is easy access to the awesome beach down below via a set of stairs from the back yard.
The famous Ristorante Da Adolfo is on this beach.
La Taverna Del Leone is just a short distance down the street and has excellent food and outstanding pizza.
I could go on forever about the spectacular views from the house.
Do yourself a favor and book this house.
You will not be disappointed.

Incredible View & Pleasant Stay
There are incredible views all over Positano. With that said, this was the best on our trip with a great side view of Positano. Living room upstairs, bedrooms downstairs and had all the amenities we needed. Parking was an experience as it is on a curve and you need to pull through a gate. Access to a beach with a nice bar from the property. You can take the water taxi into Positano and not worry about having to find parking or driving. With a few upgrades to the kitchen, bathrooms, & furniture this would be an elite property. However, it would probably be out of our price range with those upgrades due to the view & location.

18 months of planning come true....!!!
The Villa was very much what the pictures described. It was beautiful! First, we were picked up in Naples by a driver (non-related to Villa) and drove to Villa Valeria communicating our estimated time of arrival with Guido and Roberta. They were quick to respond and ready to meet us upon arrival. Once at the Villa, we were given some pertinent info and welcomed with some local wine and fresh fruit. Roberta was very hospitable and accommodating in that she provided us a binder with every bit of info we would need for our stay! Bus schedules, local attractions and restaurants, hot spots, chef and cleaning services and much more! It was an amazing amount of info that we used and it turned out to be priceless! The Villa was spectacular and well equipped with everything you need for a 6 day stay including plenty of towels and linens as well as all the amenities to entertain and have dinner parties. Every window and terrace had a postcard view! Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing. We would definitely go back! Our only minor issue was WI-fi access in that it was spotty and at times very slow. Otherwise, the 5 of us strongly recommended this Villa and hope to return next year for a sequel. Thank you to Guido and Roberta for making us feel welcomed!

meravigliosa
Ho soggiornato in questa spettacolare villa nel mese di settembre, in compagnia del mio fidanzato e altre due coppie di amici. Non potevo scegliere posto migliore per poter trascorrere qualche giorno in pieno relax . La villa è meravigliosa, location stupenda e dotata di ogni comfort . Quando si è in terrazza sembra quasi di essere sospesi, un panorama mozzafiato . Consiglio a chiumque programmi una vacanza in costiera di sceglierla. spero di poterci ritornare al più presto.

Recommended for everyone
My wife and I stayed here with another couple. It is a great property. Plenty of room, great view. It is close to town(about 4 k). We are in our sixties and we walked to town 3 times. It has a carport that is great since you don't want to drive to town(no parking). Bus stop to town is approx. 50 yds from house and runs hourly. No ac but we were there in Sept and the weather was great. There is a beach below this house but its about 300 steps down(and up)hill so not relevant. Go to town for the beach. We had a car to sightsee ,which I recommend, but there are plenty of bus and ferry options. We took the ferry to Capri for a great day. I would recommend this rental to everyone. We've been all over Italy and Amalfi is the best.

A must stay at this stunning location with sensational views.
We were a group of 6 people (3 couples) and found the Villa Valeria to be an ideal base for our stay on the southern coast of Italy. Views and location were sensational with the pretty little beach located in front of the Villa. The 400 or so steps to the beach were a little testing but well worthwhile.

The best views on the planet
We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this property. The house literally hangs over a cliff, and the many decks provide a different vantage point throughout the day. Our kids loved the outdoor shower overlooking the water. The property manager was extremely helpful (she arranged a private boat to take us on a day trip around the island of Capri which was a trip highlight). The location is perfect for going to Positano or Amalfi quite easily. We all enjoyed walking down the steps to the quiet beach below and ate every day at Le Sirene. We would walk down in the morning and have the place to ourselves until about 11:30. There's a lot of steps, but my 70 year old dad had no problem, and my two daughters (ages 5 and 7) did it 5 times in one week! It's worth the effort, guaranteed! One night we walked down the steps to the beach and took the water taxi into Positano for dinner, and then took the town bus back to the house. There's lots of space inside the house for people to relax at night. We ate all of our meals on the deck outside. There's even a parking spot that comes with the property (a rare find in this part of the world). We would recommend to other families who enjoy something different, and a bit removed from the busyness of the towns. This rental was part of our 14 week travel and it rates #1 for best view - we just couldn't get enough of it!
