Ci siamo recati a vedere il castello di Babbo Natele. Abbiamo soggiornato in un Palazzo antico, con scalinata originale e dalle ampie volte, al centro di Montepluciano. Bellissimo appartamento, ristrutturato moderno e ben rifinito. C'erano le tracce della persona che la vive saltuariamente, e questo dà una sensazione familiare e vissuto della struttura, complice anche i mobili antichi e moderni.

This is a spacious and elegant apartment in an historic building. It was very clean and pleasantly decorated. The beds were comfortable with good linens; bathrooms were spacious and clean with good shower pressure. The kitchen more than adequate (we do cook, too many meals out can be boring and costly). As with several of our Italian rentals, there was no automatic coffee machine. Perhaps the only caveat was that the building’s elevator, which we were advised was “sensitive”, didn’t work for us. If climbing stairs are an issue this could be a problem, but we told ourselves the exercise was good after eating some great Italian dishes! We look forward to returning to this property.

We stayed at the Holiday Apartment for one month and found that the location of the apartment within Montepulciano and within all of Tuscany to be the perfect location for our Italian Holiday. The apartment itself is wonderful, bright, cheery, comfortable, and extremely well maintained. The windows either look out to the old town streets below or out to the vast open areas to the East. From the livingroom window you can see Lake Trasimeno in the far distance, with all of the open country-side in between. The apartment is great for two couples, as there are two very comfortable bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom (showers). By American standards the kitchen is small. However, it has everything you need to cook any meal, as it is fully equipped. We cooked many memorable meals there. The apartment is located close to cantinas (wine shops, of which there are many), excellent restaurants, and small shops. Essential food items are available close by. A Conad supermarket is located at the bottom of the hill near the bus station. One of the entry gates to the town is just around the corner which makes for a convenient walkway to parking as near the flat as possible (about 200 yards). (Note: As a general rule, unauthorized autos are not allowed in Montepulciano). The Gattavecchi Winery is about 100 yards away and was one of our favorite places to go for wine and dinners. Take it slow—that’s why you are here. Montepulciano is a great place to meander and people watch. There are plenty of sites in Montepulciano to see, keep you busy, and entertained...then return to the apartment to look out over the Italian Landscape and unwind and relax with your own bottle of wine. This Holiday Apartment is also a great base location to explore nearby towns and countrysides by car. Enrica made us feel welcome and she had very good recommendations. She was available if we needed anything (although we didn’t). The Holiday Apartment is the place we will stay on our return to Montepulciano. This apartment is the perfect place to live like an Italian!

We stayed in this beautiful apartment for 4 nights. Absolutely fantastic!! Both bedrooms are en-suite with showers. Beds are comfortable but very nice pillows. Kitchen with all you might need - we never used it! Table in kitchen as well as a proper diningroom. View from lounge unbelievable!! Couln’t get enough of the view! Apartment in main rd of the Centro Storico.

Spent two nights at the Historical Palace while on a family trip to Tuscany. The location was great, the sceneries from the apartment awesome and the flat comfortably accommodated a family of four. The apartment was really clean and had all amenities we could think off. Special thanks to Enrica for her flexibility, she really made us feel welcome. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in 2 of the apartments in this amazing building.... beautiful modern amenities, with touches of antiques for character and interest! So cosy and inviting..glorious views to top it off! The owner was only too happy to help us with anything we needed, she met us to guide us to the apartment and show us around, and give restaurant directions etc. Can't wait to come back one day!

The apartment is wonderful. It is better than the pictures! I would definitely stay here again. The apartment blends the charm of the old buildings beautifully with all us modern updates. Located at the top of the town, the views are amazing. Be aware the apartment is up two steep flights of stairs. There is an elevator for luggage making arrival and departure easy. I am not the most in shape person and had no issue with the stairs. Definitely would recommend this gorgeous apt. to friends and family!

The apartment is in a historic building in the city center while the exterior is old the interior is brand new and modern two bedroom two and a half bath wonderful view's of the countryside. The town is a great place to explore the Tuscan area warm by day and cool at night great sights and excellent restaurants in town . We loved our stay in Montepulciano

What can I say... this is a lovely apartment, in a beautiful town. This apartment is on the top floor of a very old building, on a tiny street in the very heart of this hill town, and has been fully renovated to a very high standard. On arrival we were met by the very helpful Enrica who let us in, gave us the keys and a quick tour, showed us how the lift worked, and answered all our questions. The apartment itself is very spacious. There are two double bedrooms each with its own full sized en suite bathroom, plus another toilet. Each bathroom has a walk in shower, bidet, toilet and washbasin, both lined with slate tiles... just beautifully kitted out. The kitchen is small but everything you need is there, including a dishwasher, and the decor throughout the apartment is clean and modern with antique touches. The beds have memory foam mattresses and are very comfortable. The views from the kitchen and living room are just incredible . From the living room you can see for miles and miles across the countryside to a large lake. From the kitchen you can see across the town - there can't be many places in the world that you can look out of your window and not see a building that isn't hundreds of years old. Just lovely. I'd like to note that in the run-up to renting this apartment, I emailed several times and always got a really quick response from the owners... which really gave us confidence about the place even before we'd arrived. To sum up, I have nothing even remotely negative to say about this apartment. It was so beautiful, so clean, so perfectly located in a tiny road in the heart of Montepulciano... everything was perfect. I can't recommend it enough.
