The location of the villa is fantastic. Beautiful views over the valley and a real rural feel while being walking distance to the town. The villa was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has all everything available to cook up local pischi pasta meals. Davide and Giada are good hosts, providing clear directions for self check in and then following up with helpful advice about what to see and do in the region.

Stayed in this cosy & quiet place for a few nights. Location: base of Montepulciano Access to old town: Easy, via 2 elevators with 10 min walk Supermarket: Conad, walking distance 10 min We were a group of 5, comfortable stay. Kitchen is small but ok for our short stay. Free parking at the lawn next to the property. Clean. Good water pressure for the hot showers. Beware: steep driveway. Those with mobility issues & huge suitcases should take note. No issue for us. Hosted by gracious & warm Giada (wife of Davide). Very friendly & hospitable, came to check us in & came prepared with map & had restaurants recommendation for us. Genuinely interested to interact with guests & took time to explain about local agriculture, cuisine, etc. She also runs an agriturismo in Arezzo where she can cook for guests, but not at the property in Montepulciano. One of the highlights of this stay is definitely meeting Giada. Recommendation: Suggest winery tour at Cantine Dei , 3 km from this place, along the same road, <10 min by car. €15 for 1.5 hrs. The road leading there is also good for morning runs.

This was the second time we stayed at La Casina Toscana (8 days the first time and 11 the second time) and again, a wonderful stay! The house is spotlessly clean, comfortable and in a perfect location for accessing all parts of Tuscany. From visiting the countless 15th century hill towns, to driving to Pisa or taking the train to Rome this is the perfect “base camp”. Davide and Giada are the most wonderful hosts and are there for you if you need anything and to make your stay enjoyable! Love this place and will certainly stay again!

We loved the villa and found it to be a picture perfect setting, very close to town, grocery and centrally located to many hill top towns in Tuscany and Umbria. The villa was comfortable and just a perfect size for 4 of us, with two separate full baths

05th March to 14th March 2018 La Casina Toscana is everything you would wish for a stay in the beautiful countryside of Montepulciano - The house is beautiful-,clean & cozy, welcoming , very well appointed and perfectly positioned to explore Tuscany - You will fall in love!! - An easy transfer from Chiusi Railway if you come in by train - Taxi Cab approx 25 EUR for a 15-20 min ride to the house but I would strongly recommend a car for your stay - Driving is easy , roads are well marked and not terribly busy - Both Hertz and Europcar are close to the Chiusi railway station - Davide is a wonderful host and always available with recommendations and assistance - We are so grateful that Davide is sharing his wonderful home and will definitely return!! .Grazie mille per una meravigliosa vacanza!!

Position of house was excellent handy to everything we wanted very comfortable home host spoke English and was helpful the view were amazing

Davide was a great host, meeting us on our arrival and thoroughly reviewing the property and the community. The house was spotless, tucked away on the side of a hill and only a five minute walk up the hill to Montepulciano. We lived in the community for a week! The location was excellent for touring around Tuscany visiting many of the hilltop walled cities, wineries, farms, etc. An absolutely awesome experience. Hope to have the chance to revisit one day.

We stayed at La Casina Toscana for 8 days at the end on August. The home is beautiful, clean and well cared for. You can tell that Davide takes great pride in this home. It is situated within easy walking distance to the stairs/elevator that takes you to the entrance to Montepulciano, We made that walk daily (sometimes twice a day!). The patio is a perfect place to sit and enjoy a bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano with wonderful views of the city atop the hill. The interior of the home was very unique and very comfortable. There were four of us staying there and we had plenty of room to move about as we saw fit. I would highly recommend this home, this area and Davide as a host! Thank you Davide, for providing a top notch home for us to enjoy Tuscany! We are already planning our return trip and will be doing our best to stay at La Casina Toscana!

We enjoyed our stay at La Casina Toscana from the beginning till the end. When we arrived Davide was already there to welcome us. It's a lovely and beautiful house very close to the center of Montepulciano. The house was very clean when we arrived and the house was big and comfortable enough for us (4 adults and 2 children) Everything is within a 5min walk: city, restaurants, super market, bakery, ... The house is beautiful restored by Davide and his father Franco, it's also very good equipped with everything you need: airconditioning, washing machine, wireless internet, 2 bathrooms, good equipped kitchen with good kitchen tools,... And what a amazing view of the landscape and the city of Montepulciano. Davide the owner is a super host!! Davide has gives us all the information we needed when we arrived: good restaurants, things and towns to visit, ... And during our stay we could always contact Davide when we had a question. The perfect house for the perfect holidays!!
