The location of the apartment is really convenient. You can easily walk down to the center without having to be in there. 2 shops with most of your needs 2 min away, which is a big advantage considering the only supermarkets in Cortina are either in a pedestrian area or in a place with 5 parking in total and a constant mess. The apartment is big and looks like a family place more than the usual apartment you would rent. Luminous and fully accessorized with vacuum cleaner and cleaning products, a washing machine and a dishwasher, a huge dining table and cutlery and plates for dozens people. On the other side the only bathroom with shower has no window and the other one, with bathtub has no curtain. Hot water is provided by a relatively old boiler, which is not sufficient after 3 short showers, so you need to plan your water carefully. Beds and bedsheets are excellent. Really good quality matrasses. 2 big balconies, with great views and chairs to enjoy the panorama. A nice big living room with a big sofa. The place would probably benefit from some renovation at some point in time. Wi-Fi is available but with discretion as it is provided via a mobile device with a weekly limit.. So if you planned to work from remote (as many started doing after the COVID-19 pandemic), this is not the place for you. The little private street where the building is located is not easy to find, but the home made map provided is very useful and clear as all the detailed instructions provided as you never meet anybody during your stay (which is not a problem as the owners are available by phone in case if need). All in all it is a nice place, highly priced but this is Cortina probably. Pet friendly but you need to make sure your dogs are really well educated as in the living room there are 2 nice carpets which of course make the apartment more delicate.

Abbiamo soggiornarnato in 6 persone + un animale domestico nel periodo natalizio in questo splendido appartamento dove ciò che veniva descritto sul sito, corrispondeva alla realtà! Appartamento grande, confortevole, pulito e fornito di tutto il necessario per potervi soggiornare! Condominio silenzioso e vicinissimo.al centro di Cortina con un due negozi di generi Alimentari e fermata Autobus a 10mt. Da consigliare senza alcun indugio! Complimenti alla Sig.ra Marialuisa!! A little hard to find because it is down a driveway without a street number at the top. But our host was helpful on the phone. So we are in. And our adult daughter who had arrived after 30 plus hours of traveling went to shower only to find that there was no hot water. The boiler had not been turned on! This was very annoying. A bad start, but I should point out the host was very apologetic. Nevertheless it shouldn't happen. The apartment was generally clean, but the lounge cushion covers were quite grubby. Not inspiring. It is quaint and fine for a few days stay. A bit further from the town than expected, more like 15-20 minute walk than the 10 we expected. But there are two small supermarkets just up at the street which provide all the necessaries for breakfast and snacks and more, which was really convenient. The views from the apartment are very good. So, yes it was fine. Oh, I think a 500 Euro bond is a bit steep. We got it back alright but this was the first time we had encountered such a big bond for such a short stay (4 nights). My recommendation of "yes" below is qualified by what you read here. If you need a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment in this sort of location, then I would say it is ok.

10 giorni spesi in questo bellissimo appartamento situato vicino al centro di Cortina. La casa permette di arrivare a piedi alla via principale della città ma allo stesso tempo si evitano la confusione e i disagi di vivere nelle zone pedonali. I due parcheggi di pertinenza fanno il resto. Dal terrazzo si gode una splendida vista sulle montagne. Data la relativa lontananza da strade trafficate l'appartamento risulta molto silenzioso.

My family and I spent two weeks in Cortina. This apartment was a warm and welcoming home away from home. It was a comfortable place to return to at the end of a ski day. Marialuisa and her family were attentive and responded quickly to our needs.The apartment is close enough to be able to walk into central Cortina but far enough away to avoid large crowds. Other reviewers have mentioned difficulty with WiFi. There was a minor problem at first that was rapidly corrected.WiFi then worked well. Overall, it is a delightful place.

We had a great vacation in Cortina D'Ampezzo thanks to the strategic position of this penthouse that is well located not only for skiing (closed to Tofane and Faloria) but also for restaurant and night life (closed to the old town and restaurants like Vissani and disco like VIP Club). In addition to that, the apartment is very well equipped and we found all the facilities we needed: 2 car slots (in the garage and the other outside the house), dishwasher, oven and microwave, TV and DVD player, 2 terraces with great views and a very enjoyable living room. The 3 bedrooms and the 2 bathrooms are also tidy and clean and are suitable both for friends and families. For sure the price is not for all, but considering that Cortina is one of the most expensive skiing location in Italy (if not the most) and comparing with other apartments and hotel, i consider this solution a good value for money. I reccomend this apartment also for the courtesy of the owners that are completely available in supporting client's needs.

This is a lovely, top floor apartment just north of the main street of Cortina. It has beautiful views and nice furnishings and beddings. There are three bedrooms and two full baths, so it's ideal for a family or friends. There is parking for two cars, a big plus for this busy part of town. MariaLuisa and her family are delightful to deal with. This was our first trip staying in Cortina, and we had a fantastic 10 day visit, due in large part to the great accommodations.

This penthouse apartment was a perfect base for our first ski holiday in Cortina. It is very well located with the free ski bus shuttle stopping nearby, 2 excellent grocery stores less than 100m away and a short stroll into the centre of town and the supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment was warm, cosy, clean, well presented and well equipped. The views from both balconies are wonderful - the photos don't do it justice. The ski room in the basement adjacent to front door meant we didn't have to take skis up stairs. When we stayed at the apartment it didn't offer wifi but we coped by regularly visiting a nearby hotel. The apartment owner, Marialuisa, was very helpful both during and after our stay.
